For those of you who liked Berrykit, there he is to the side. And one more thing..... Don't forget about him, I'm not done with him yet. XD

Lionkit shrieked as the dark current pushed and pulled him around. Never had he been so terrified in his life, as short as his life had been so far. He floundered around, trying to stay at the surface, but he was pulled down by the current. Soon above him was alone dark rushing water.

Something grabbed Lionkit, dragging him through the water. Lionkit didn't care. He was going to die in a short while, unable to hold his breath for much longer. So he let himself be dragged, his eyes squeezed shut.

Suddenly his head broke the surface and he gasped, a scream he'd been holding in escaping his lips.

"Are you alright?" a strange cat asked him as he looked down at the kit.

"Who are you?!" Lionkit scrambled away from the strange cat.

"I'm Spottedstep. Who are you and where are your parents?" Spottedstep took a step closer to Lionkit.

"Doesn't matter. Go away now." Lionkit growled. He was dangerously close to striking out at the tom.

"Lionkit! You're alive!" Swiftkit slammed into him, tackling him all the while fiercely nuzzling him. "I thought you were dead for sure!" She nipped his ear. "Don't you ever scare me like that again." She scowled at him. Lionkit felt the urge to hiss, but held back. After all, she was being nice and he was happy to see her.

"Who's this? Your littermate?" Spottedstep interjected. Lionkit loosed the hiss he had held in before on Spottedstep.

"No. We're just friends." Swiftkit shrugged. "His mother and brothers are back that way, we need somewhere to go. Do you know of a place we could go?" Swiftkit asked, putting on her cute kit charm.

"My clan will accept you, I'm sure. I just have to ask my leader. Let's go get the others." Swiftkit lead the way to Leopardcry and the two other kits carefully.

The bodies of both Scruff and Berrykit had disappeared, and the ground was eerily clean of blood. His mother looked calm, and his brothers were playing as if nothing really happened. This bothered Lionkit, but he didn't dare say anything.

"Alright. Let's go then." Spottedstep carried Skykit on his back, Leopardcry carried Darkkit, and Lionkit carried Swiftkit. It took a lot of persuasion, but she was exhausted and eventually gave in. She was snoring softly, and wasn't really much of a burden to Lionkit. He padded along as usual, mostly unhindered.

"So what exactly happened to you? Weren't you a clan cat?" Spottedstep asked Leopardcry.

"Our clan kicked us out because my mate was a rogue. They ridiculed me and the kits for it at every opportunity." Leopardcry lied seamlessly. Lionkit held back a growl.

"Oh, that's terrible! We don't do that in my clan. We'll take good care of you and your kits." the warrior purred. Leopardcry gave a fake but very convincing shy laugh.

"Oh, that's good. I really only want to best for my kits... And Swiftkit. She's not mine but I've taken her in." Leopardcry responded in a quiet and shy tone. So she was going to play innocent now, Lionkit thought. He silently hissed to himself, angry that she would lie like that to a cat who was being honest and kind to her.

Spottedstep lead the five of them to a system of tunnels, dark, damp, and cool, that lead underground to that clan's camp. He expertly guided them through many series of forks and different splitoffs in the tunnels until the came to the camp, where he disappeared to find his leader.

It was huge, with a skylight at the roof of the cave that let in enormous amounts of light. There was a large rock that jutted out on the far side of the camp that almost touched the skylight, and there were many holes in the walls where Lionkit guessed the dens were. Ivy and moss grew on some of the rocks, adding some green to the brown and black landscape. There was also a stream running through the camp and around the large rock. It was a beautiful place.

Soon Spottedstep could be seen talking to a cat that had ginger colored fur, who was very big. A tom, Lionkit thought. He could hear scraps of their conversation.

"Are you sure they're not a threat?" the tom asked.

"I'm sure. I've already spoken to the mother of the kits." Spottedstep answered. The leader nodded, then padded towards Leopardcry and the kits.

"Hello." The leader sat in front of the group and smiled slightly. "Welcome to UnderClan."
