Tangle, Chaos Sonic, Whisper, and Lanolin made it to Windmill village to see it was under attack with those creatures showing up.

Tangle: Oh man those things make quick of this place, we better hurry and get these guys out of here.

Chaos Sonic was the first to leave with him going full speed.

Tangle: Whoa Nine was right, he is fast.

Lanolin: Granted he did take inspiration from Y/N speed.

The others made their way to Windmill village as  they hurried over there.

Meanwhile Chaos Sonic made to the village first with him looking around seeing the village attacked with some of those creatures showing up. He then flexed his gears a bit and blasted through sonic speed smashing through the black creatures.

For him time was slowed down as he ran with the boost of the thruster that Nine put into his back along with the power of the paradox energy Nine salavaged. As he ran he grabbed a man hole cover and tossed it at a creature that tried to attack a person with it slicing right through them instantly, Chaos Sonic made it over to the person being attacked and checked it they were ok.

Civilian: Thank you.

Chaos Sonic gave them a thumbs up and his eyes changing to a more positive expression.

As he stood there one of Lord X minions tried to attack Chaos Sonic but was soon shot by Whisper with her giving him a thumbs up and Chaos Sonic doing the same.

Meanwhile Tangle was battling Lord X minions with her tail with it acting like a massive hand while Lanolin used her wisp Magenta in a mix of the cow bell around her neck to fire out Sonic blast composed of hyper go on energy.

Tangle: Got to admit, this has been easy so far

Lanolin: It's best we don't get cocky we have no idea what these things can do.

As they kept fighting a big one tried to get the drop on Tangle and Lanolin but it was soon destroyed by sometype of energy lance that perced right through the creature.

Tangle: What the?

As they turned to see who fired that they soon saw who it was

Kai: Hi there, you guys ok?

Tangle: Yeah we are good thanks for the assist.

Kai: No problem, wait aren't you two Tangle and Lanolin?

Tangle: Yep that's us.

Kai: Wow you are the diamond cutters, my name is Kai I'm a fan of you guys.

Tangle: Wow it's nice to meet a fan.

Lanolin: Kai do you think you can help us?

Kai: Sure thing, what can I do to help?

Lanolin: You see there are only four of us here dealing these creatures which means we are kinda spread out, do you think you can help getting these people to safety.

Kai: Sure thing just leave it to me.

Kai then ran off and helped deal with creatures with his speed and chaos lance.

Tangle: Got to admit that the kid has some skills, he seems like diamond cutter material to me.

Lanolin: We'll ask him later if he would like to join but for now we have a job to do.

They soon got back to fighting Lord X minions with Whisper taking pot shots while Kai was getting people out of Windmill village with him using a mix of his chaos lance technique and his raw speed, while Chaos Sonic made sure no minions escaped the village.

TIMESKIP

As things seemed to calm down team dark showed up with the clean up.

Rouge: Sorry we are late we had our own trouble getting here.

Tangle: No problem we are just cleaning up here we met a guy named Kai who's been helping us deal with these things so we should be good

Soon they felt the ground shaking with a tear opening with an EXE coming through

Tangle: Woah is that what an EXE looks like, they look different in person.

The EXE known as Prevision started to attack again with his attacks blast through Windmill village. As he kept attacking Tangle was caught by one of Lord X minions.

Tangle: Hey let go of me!

More kept showing up with them trying to drag her down and drown her in black liquid.

Whisper: Tangle!!!

Whisper tried to help Tangle but Shadow held her back.

Whisper: Let me go!

Shadow: You stupid! If you try to go save her then you'll be taken to!

Whisper: We can't just let her die, we have to help, now!

As Tangle kept fighting them back while they dragged her down the emeralds that Rouge had started to glow rather bright.

Rouge: What in the world?

They soon went over to Tangle and after a bright light all of Lord X minions that attacked Tangle was turned into dust with everyone seeing what happened to Tangle

Tangle: Woah, did I. Just go Super?

Tangle then smiled brightly.

Tangle: This is awesome!

Tangle flew up in the air and blasted through Lord X minions Tangle then used her tail which grew into a massive hand and grabbed all of Lord X minions and formed them into a ball.

Tangle: Hey buddy! Catch!

She threw it at him with Prevision destroying the ball and floating over to Tangle as she cracked her knuckles and stretched her tail.

Tangle: Alright buddy you want to do this, let's do this.

The two started to fight as they fight through out the windmill village with Tangle using her tail to grab Prevision and throw him rather far and chasing after him and used her tail with it becoming a massive fist and punched him into the air grabbed him again and tossed him to the ground.

She then chased him to the ground with the two fighting it out with the two pushing against each other with both of their hands locked, Tangle raised her tail in the air with a massive beam being charged up and fired at Prevision which dug him into the ground.

Tangle: Is that all you got?

He then disappeared and appeared above the village and charged up a massive energy ball of darkness and death and fired it at Windmill village.

Tangle looked at her tail and got an idea.

Tangle: Here goes nothing.

Tangle made her tail grow massive with it glowing and  launched it out with it catching the massive blast with her tail and was holding it back.

As she held it back Prevision was soon electrocuted and was paralyzed while floating in the air. As that happened the others looked over to saw who did it

Whisper: Surge, why are you?

Surge: No time, just finish him already.

Tangle nodded and threw back the energy blast back at Precision which when it hit him he was slowly incarcerated to nothing.

After the fight Tangle turned back to normal with Rouge taking her emeralds back, after which the group was met by Surge and Kit.

Tangle: So why are you guys here again?

Surge: Let's just say your friend Rebel is paying us to help you guys out.

Tangle: Ok and what's with the new look?

Surge: You see me and Kit are now let's just say mercenary's for hire, and while back home those things attacked us too but Rebel came along and made that offer with us, so to put it simply we are on the same side.

Tangle: Well I'm ok with that.

After awhile everyone was taken back to G.U.N with Tangle and Whisper walking over to Kai.

Tangle: Hey thanks for the help back there, I don't think we would've been able to save those people ourselves.

Kai: No problem, happy to help.

Lanolin came by with her looking at Kai.

Lanolin: Kai I have something to ask you. Would you like to join the diamond cutters?

Kai: Seriously, sure I would love to.

Lanolin smiled with her shaking Kai hand with Tangle and Whisper welcoming the newest member of the diamond cutters.

Meanwhile the others were looking at a global map of the world.

Rebel: Things at Windmill village have settled down but who knows for how long, and if there are other EXES then we better move fast.

Shadow: In that case me and Omega while check station square.

Shadow then turned to Mighty

Shadow: You might need to come with us, we'll need your strength.

Ray: If he's going I'm going to.

Mighty: Listen Ray I appreciate your help but this might be too much for you, let me do this you stay here and help the others.

Ray: Are you sure?

Mighty: Don't worry I have the muscle to back me up and I've taken much worse, I'll be fine.

Ray: Ok, stay safe.

Ray left his best friend to help the refuges  while Shadow, Omega and Mighty went out to station square.
