Abhi's POV

"Everything will be fine"Ani said looking into my eyes.

"It has to be"I stood and smiled.

"Sir!"I heard a familiar voice.

"Mr.Ranjith"I looked at him crouching my brows.

"Are you okay?!"He came running to me curiously.

"We are fine"I gave a fake grin assuringly that I am okay.

"Police arrested the guy with the truck.He confessed everything and said the much anticipated name Anirudh"He sighed.

I nodded at him trying to access the situation.

"Actually it was an attack planned on you botb but at the last moment this guy came in between you and truck."He frowned.

"Yes!"I glanced at ICU.

"What?!"Avi who was a silent spectator till now screamed at Mr.Ranjith.

"But why did you come between you and truck when he is the one who send him?!"Mr.Ranjith glanced at me.

"I don't know but he sent these messages to me."I showed him those messages.

"He has already warned you but you didn't heed him so he himself came to help you." He concluded.

"May be!"I shrugged my shoulders.

"Oh my!"Avi looked at me.

"What's happening in our life?!"Seshi looked so gloomy.

"Calm down Seshi" I patted her shoulder.

"How is he doctor?"I asked the doctor who has came out from the theatre just now.

"Well I can't bluff.He is still critical . We can't say anything now.Let a night roll on"He sighed and walked away.

"Oh my god!"I shook my head.

"Sir we successfully retrieved the spy camera from Anirudh sir's house."Mr.Ranjith's men came and gave us the spy camera with SD card inserted in it which I kept in Ani's house.

"Please do check it.We may get some clue."He game me his laptop inserting the SD card.

"Anirudh?!What happened to Anirudh?!"I heard his Uncle,his maid Mr.Raghunath came panting and puffing.

"He met with an accident and he is in ICU" I said closing my eyes.

"What?!"He collapsed there on the floor.

"I expected something would happen as such!"He is crying like a child.

"What happened Uncle"Avi walked to him and placed his hand on his shoulder.

He placed his hand on his hand and looked at him with a pale face.

"He told me that he did a very big mistake and he wants to rectify it at any cost . He won't bother even if he has to sacrifice his life while doing it so"He said trying to calm down.

"Please Uncle,"We made him stood up and asked him to sit down.

"He did mistakes but he is repenting for it"He looked at us.

I gave a very pale smile and started playing the laptop in the corridor.

Seshi came and looked at me.

"Play it"She said patting my shoulder.

"Should I?!"I looked at her.

"You have to!"She sighed.

I played and my eyes got moist.

"He came to save you"A voice boomed from behind.

"Yes!"Uncle is standing behind us.

"What?!"I looked at him.

"Yes,he confessed me everything before he left.He truly repented for his deeds."He said.

I looked at the video where he is confessing his crimes to Uncle.

I played it again.I saw Anirudh lying on his knees and crying bitterly.

My heart clenching at the thought.

But it's hard for me to forgive him.

Yes,I can't forgive him for his mistakes but I want to him to be sound safe and happy.

He was my friend and I don't want my friend to suffer more.

He lost his mother at a very tender age. He lost his girl too.He even lost our friendship.He has nothing to loose and no one to loose.

More over he is repenting for his deeds.I know he has undergone much yet I can't forgive him.

"Abhi!"Avi came to me hastily.

"What's there in it?"He looked at us and got an answer as Seshi played the video.

"Ah.....Damn!"He gritted his teeth and clenched his fist.

"Why did he do that Abhi?Why did he made things tough for us?"Avi hugged me.

"He has complicated the things . Now it's no use."I chuckled.

"Can't you forgive him Abhi?"Avi asked me hoping a positive reply.

"I lost my sister my Neelu."I said stubbornly.

Avinash sighed and looked at me with a grumpy face.

"He targeted you and tried to kill you. It's easy for you to forgive him because he tried to harm you but he took away my sister and tried to kill my Seshi"I answered his question.

Still he looked unsatisfied with my answer.

"I would've forgiven him if he tried to kill me but he was behind my sister's death and tried to kill Seshi,So I can't"I looked away.

Avi came to me and hugged me again.

"Sorry!"He whispered.

"It's okay Avi"I smiled.

A day passed yet Ani is lying on bed unconsciously.

Suddenly Avi called me and told me that Ani got conscious.

I went to hospital and saw him.

My heart stopped beating for a second.

What I saw is devastating.

"Ah...!"I looked away as I can't see him.

He lost his left leg and he became physically impaired forever.

A lone tear escaped from my eye.

Our eyes met for a second.

He smiled with teary eyes.

I walked to him.

"I am sorry!"He whispered trying to hold my hand.

I patted his hand.

I saw Avi and Seshi watching us both from the other side of the glass...
