"So, what movie shall we watch today?" Gidget asked, looking through a bunch of movies that were stacked on the shelf. Thinking, Max suggested, "How about Titanic?" Suddenly, the phone on the table started to ring. Unsure, Gidget walked up to it before handing it to Max. "It's for you," she said. Putting it up to his ear, Max spoke, "Hello?"

"Max! I think there's something wrong with Duke!" Buddy's voice came through the phone. The dachshund continued, "He looked like he was going to hurl when he collapsed on the floor." Buddy's voice sounded frantic. "Calm down Buddy, I'm pretty sure he's fine-" Max began speaking when a low growl and a bone-chilling scream came forth from the phone. It was so loud that it echoed inside the room. "MEL!" Buddy shrieked, right before the phone crashed to the floor. Then, everything was quiet. Max nervously glanced over at Gidget. "We should probably see what's going on," he said quietly.
