Emerson's POV

"Amy, I'm back!" I yelled into the house, walking into the living room. She walked in with Toby, smiling at me.

"So? How was it?"

I shrugged. "Okay, I guess. I have two real moms, and their names are Elaine and Danielle."

Mark popped his head in, his eyes wide. "What?"

I raised an eyebrow. "Do you know them?"

Mark shook his head, walking over. "I've... heard about them. They're... actually real?"

"Mark, what do you mean?" Amy asked him.

"I... don't worry about it." He shook his head again. "I need to go. I'll be right back." He raced out of the room.

"What was that about?" I thought out loud.

"No clue, but I'm starting to get the feeling that he's hiding something." Amy smiled. "Come on, dinner is done. Let's eat." The two of us walked to the dining room."

Ethan's POV

"That Chai Tea was amazing." (Y/n) said as we walked down the sidewalk.

I smirked. "You say that about any Chai Tea."

She blushed slightly. "I'm sorry, I love it!"

I kissed her cheek. "I'm kidding." I looked up and saw that we were passing a movie theater. I looked at what was showing and grinned. "Hey babe, there's a movie theater over there. Do you wanna watch the movie?"

She shrugged. "It depends, what is it?"

I grabbed her hand. "I guess you'll just have to wait and see!" I pulled her up to the building, walking inside and to the register.

The lady smiled at me. "Are you two here to see the movie?" I nodded, and she handed us two tickets. "$4.45, sir." I paid for the tickets and walked over to get the popcorn.

(Your Name) looked at the ticket. "Annabelle, really? You had to make me watch a scary movie?"

I grinned. "I like watching scary movies with you! Especially when there's a jumpscare- you always curl into me." I paid for a large tub of popcorn and two drinks for us.

She took one of the drinks. "Thanks, Ethan."

I kissed her hair. "No problem. Now, Let's go watch the movie!" She giggled as we walked in the theater.

We were a little early, so it was almost empty. We were able to find good seats- two that weren't too high or too low. We sat down and watched the ads and trailers play on the screen.

"You know, I never watched the first one (They're watching the latest one). Is it good?"

I nodded. "Yeah, it's good. But people are saying that this one is even scarier than the first one."

She shuddered. "Really?" I nodded. "Great, I won't be able to sleep at all tonight."

I wrapped an arm around her, holding her close. "That's okay. I'll keep you safe, and make sure that no harm comes to you tonight."

She giggled, smiling. "Thanks, babe. I love you."

I smiled back. "I love you, too."

The room got dimmer, signaling that the movie was starting.
