Unknown POV

Girlfriend! He asked that bitch! Hahaha! She thinks she can run away. That's gold! She thinks she can run away from me of all people. I ruined that boy. I almost had her. She got help before I could go all the way. I will break her even if it is the last thing I will do. Their parents think they can save their children. They bought this upon themselves. No matter, this will make this only make this more interesting.

I will ruin you Hayden Haddock and Astrid Hoffreson.

Unknown POV

"She's moving! She's moving!"

"I know, I can see that! GO! Call him. It's time."

"What do you think he's going to do with a 6-year-old? She's been in a coma for three years, and have been presumed dead." The blonde hair blue eyed woman spoke, better known as Alexa.

"Do you think they'll give her back to her family?" Marcus, the blonde haired blue-eyed man asked.

"Only when mercy run through his blood."

I sigh grabbing all the paper work I had to fill for this girl. We don't know much about her family. Only that she was met with an accident that was clearly done on purpose. When she was bought to the hospital originally, she looked well, pardon me for lacking a better word, dead. After using the defibrillator, we were able to make her heart pump again, but she still wasn't out of danger. After a four-hour surgery she was still in critical condition. The only way to save her was to put her into a coma, but the only problem that would cause was that we wouldn't know when she would wake up or if she would have all her memories.

The door opened with a bang startling me, and bringing me out of my thoughts. Alexa rushed through with a phone to her ear. Oh god, that sick bastard wants to speak to me. Giving me a glare when she saw me roll my eyes Alexa handed over the phone.

"Hello." I spoke.

"Is she awake?" The bastard's voice rang through the phone.

"She's been showing signs of waking up since last year, but nothing followed, but she's been moving much more in the recent days, and have been muttering incoherent words."

"But will she wake up soon?! That's what I want to know idiot! Answer the damn question!" He shouted. Man, I would do anything to see this man behind bars. I know he's going to hurt this little girl, and I won't let him. She should wake up either today or tomorrow.

"I don't think so, she might take a little longer. Her heart rate is lower than normal."

"Whatever, she won't remember her family, right?" He sneered.

"Sir, we won't be able to determine that until she wakes up." I could literally feel the glares I'm receiving from Alexa and Marcus.

"UGH! You idiots can't do anything right! Call me when and only when she wakes up! Don't disturb me!" With that he hung up. A small sigh escapes me, I can't let that man hurt this little girl. I'm a doctor, and I took an oath to help people, and I'm not breaking it.

"What the hell James! Why did you lie to him? If he finds out, he'll kill our families. Call him again, and tell him that she's going to wake up soon. We both know that she's going to wake up either today or tomorrow. I can't risk my family for your pity." Alexa hissed.

"We took an oath to help people in need, and you're going to break it for your own selfish reasons!"

"Aright, what can we do to help the little girl?" Marcus spoke out.

"We have to wait until she wakes up then, have to ask her to pretend she doesn't remember anything."

"What if she can't remember anything when she wakes up?" Marcus asked.

"Then we'll have to report it to the police without getting caught."

"Say, she remembers, what good will it do to her, if she pretended to forget everything she knew?" Alexa asked with a sceptical look on her face.

"She will be safer, he'll try to fill her mind with dirt to hurt her family. That's his plan. If she remembers she'll resist everything, and that's when she'll get hurt, and we can't let that happen."

"No, you're right we can't let that happen to this little girl."

Now, let's hope she wakes up soon, and that bastard doesn't find out what we're doing for the sake of our families.

Third Person's POV

It's officially been a month since Hayden and Astrid got together. Valka had finally reached six months, and Stoick is one of the proudest fathers around hands down. Even though, Hayden doesn't like to show to his friends and family he is very excited for a baby brother or sister, and he misses Ivy every day. It's Ivy's birthday today, she would have been six today. Astrid was informed by Hayden's parents that today is Ivy's birthday, and that her boyfriends wouldn't be home all day, and would come home drunk. Astrid had a plan to prevent this.

"Are you sure this will work Astrid? What if he gets angry and lashes out at everyone?" Heather questioned.

"He won't get angry at Astrid, he's been happiest, and treats Astrid like a princess." Ruffnut snickered causing Astrid to blush.

"He's been so mellow recently, not a single angry lash at anyone." Valka joined in on the fun.

"Oh, not you too Valka!" Astrid squeaked as her blush grew.

Laughter erupted in the room.

Astrid POV

Can't believe Valka joined in as well. Every chance the girls got they would tease me, and at times Valka would join. Apparently, they had all placed bets, on when we would get together, and Valka had won. When Hayden and I learned I had blushed hiding myself in Hayden's chest, my new favourite place on earth, while Hayden gave our friends and parents a good talking to. I had also met the infamous uncle Gobber Hayden seemed to rave about. And I have to say, I have never met a man that could make me blush as much as Gobber. The very first time we told Gobber about us the first thing he said was "Finally! I can be a grandparent." Everyone had laughed. Confusion and a blush was evident on my face. Later I was told by Hayden that Gobber was like a second father to him. Which I gushed to Hayden about all day making him blush.

Today though, was special to all the Haddocks. It was Ivy Haddock 6th birthday, and normally Hayden would spend the whole day drunk. Not only is that unhealthy its simply isn't celebrate someone's memory. Hayden was a wonderful brother whether he believes it or not, and I'm not going to let him mope on a such a special day. I managed to gather all our friends and got them to help me throw a birthday party for Ivy.

Now before everyone thinks I'm crazy. Stoick, Valka and hopefully Hayden will blow out the candles in memory of Ivy, and later head to the cemetery, as I've heard Hayden still hadn't visited his sister. That will be a private thing just for the Haddocks, and while they're there the guys and I will prepare a little after party with a little alcohol. Ruffnut persuaded me to let her bring the alcohol, and after a lot of persuading I let her. The only problem is that Hayden doesn't know, and we don't know if she would be okay with that. Hopefully he would be.

"He's coming! Quick everyone hide! Ooooh Astrid I really hope you know what you're doing." Snotlout rushed to the living room, and everyone rushed around looking for a good hiding place.

"Mum! Dad! Asty! I'm home. I brought the stupid laundry! Now can everyone leave me alone"

I rolled my eyes at that statement.

"Why the heck are all the lights turned off?"

"SURPIRSE!" Valka turned all the lights on.

"What's all this?" Hayden asked. Fear coursed through my whole body for a second.

I stepped forward, if he's going to be angry it will be me since it was my idea. I'll take his wrath.

"M'lady, what's the meaning of this?" He asked in a gentle voice taking me into his arms. A small smile graced my lips as I felt safe, and knew everything would be fine. I trust him.

"Today is Ivy's birthday" I started, and immideitly saw his gaze hardening. "I was told that you would normally wouldn't come back to the house till midnight, and when you come back you'd be drunk. It just isn't safe Hayden." I muttered to him. I felt a light kiss on my head which made me look up at him.

"You were that worried about me? But that doesn't explain all this to me princess." He asked pointing at the party.

"I thought that instead completely ignoring the fact that it's Ivy's birthday you should celebrate it. I though your parents and you should blow out the candles and cut the cake in memory of Ivy. Then you should head to the cemetery to see her. I know you haven't been at all since the funeral. Then we should like to have an after party, I even let Ruff bring alcohol so, you could get drunk safely. Please don't be mad." I pleaded because he was deadly silent. A sudden laugh broke out and echoed the halls of the Haddock home.

"Did you think I would be mad about this princess." I nodded my head slowly breaking eye contact.

"Thank you, Astrid, honestly it's just been really hard since she was this bright feisty girl, and she didn't deserve what she got." I knew that Ivy was amazing little sister, who had Hayden wrapped around her little finger.

"Yeah, we know, so will you join us please Hayden." I asked hoping he would say yes.

"For you princess anything, but let me go get a change first." He said heading towards the staircases, I nodded and moved towards the guys.

"He used to say that to Ivy, and now you have him wrapped around your little finger." Ruffnut snickered.

"No, I don't, he can say no to me you know." I argued back.

"But when has he ever said no to you Astrid." Fishlegs asked me.

"The very first day...actually wait he didn't say no. I don't know, but I'll make him." I challenged.

"I doubt it." Ruffnut challenged me back.

"Okay by the end of the day I'll get him to refuse me something. And if I so manage it you'll have to stop teasing me over something simple, and if I don't manage it you can..."

"No, I've got it, if you lose them you'll have to let Hayden do anything he want when he's drunk." Everyone apart from Valka and Stoick laughed.

"If it is safe kids, I don't want to be grandmother yet."

Oh man, where is Hayden. And speaking of the devil.

"Can everyone stop bothering Astrid, otherwise you'll have to answer to my fist."

"Yeah, yeah we get it." Ruff responded to Hayden rolling her eyes.

Laughing at her response we started the party.

After the cake was cut, and Hayden and his parents to the cemetery the guys and I got the house ready for the after party. Ruff made sure the alcohol was brought out and Tuff made sure the food was present. I left Fishlegs in charge of the decoration, and made Snotlout run on an errand. You see we needed Gobber otherwise Valka and Stoick will feel left out. I want today to be perfect, a day to be celebrated not to be angry. I supervised everything to make sure we got everything we needed.

When the Haddocks retuned, I had realised that their moods were down. I felt for them, I really did. Without a word Hayden headed upstairs to his room, and followed behind him. When I entered him room he had taken his shirt off and was under the covers. A small smile graced my lips as I joined in bed as I snuggled up to his chest.

"Are you okay babe?"

"I am now that you're here." He replied nuzzling my neck leaving little kisses against my neck making my whole-body tingle.

"We have to get to the party downstairs Hayden." Hayden however, carried on kissing me, and tickling me in the process.

Giggling I tried pushing him away. "Hayde... mmh" his lips pressed on mine, his hands travelled down stopping at my waist. I couldn't help but laugh through the kiss.

Hayden slowly broke of this kiss, "I love you princess." Which made me giggle more out of happiness. Wrapping my arms around his neck bringing him closer to me and our breaths mingled I look straight up to him beautiful emerald green eyes. "I love you too Hayden." He just gave me one of amazing smile and buried in my neck.

"ARE YOU LOVE BIRDS COMING DOWNSTAIRS?!" Ruff shouted.

Groaning Hayden moved away, laughed I walked to his mirror to fix my hair and dress. And joined the guys downstairs.

Today was perfect, life mission half complete. I love him. He deserve all the happiness in this world.
