(video camera turns on in Tom's living room)

Lizzy: Hello, my friends! Today is Friday and in Japan, it is Thanksgiving! Sorry, I didn't explain it yesterday but that was because we were doing the day trip to Okinawa. In Japan, they celebrate Thanksgiving today and say what they are thankful for, besides the turkey.

Jarod: I think that it's an American thing that we cook turkey for Thanksgiving.

Lizzy: Me too. But we are cooking turkey anyway! I get to help make some turkey, because we might not know how to do it.

James: Actually, I'm calling the parents to help us out.

Tom: Really?

Lizzy: (laughs) We need their help to cook a turkey!!!

(timeskip)

Lizzy: Mama and Papa are on the phone, guiding us through the process of making a turkey. (turns camera to Jarod's phone on FaceTime) Hi!!!!

Mrs. Wood: Hi, honey!

Mr. Wood: Hey, kiddo! How's the turkey?

Jarod: It is cooking and it will be delicious!

Mr. Wood: Good!

Lizzy: Hooray for good cooking tips from the professionals that usually make turkey! Sorry, I can't be there for Thanksgiving.

Mr. Wood: It's okay. It's too expensive for a plane ticket for just a few days.

James: Yup.

Mrs. Wood: Well, have fun, you guys!

Mr. Wood: We'll be thinking of you when we eat our delicious turkey!

Jarod: Pffft, our turkey will be good too!!

Lizzy: (laughs happily)

(timeskip)

Lizzy: (turns camera to the turkey) Now, that is a delicious-looking turkey.

James: Beat that, Dad!

Lizzy: Yeah, Papa! We made a good turkey!

Jarod: But now we have to eat it.

Lizzy: Do we have to eat all of it?

Tom: No! We can't eat all of that in one day.

James: That's why we have a fridge to store all of the leftovers.

Lizzy: (gasps happily) That is right! Leftovers!!!!!!! That'll be fabulous. (turns camera to herself) I know that we are celebrating this late according to America, but Happy Thanksgiving to everyone! Thanks for watching and see you tomorrow for more fun. Bye!

(turns video camera off)

10 days until One Year!!!!!!!

That's the end of the journal! Japan actually does celebrate Thanksgiving but it is on a Friday. I searched it up! I know it's late but Happy Thanksgiving to all and I will see you on the next journal. :)
