Leah made everyone gather in the library some of them got a seat and she tried to make them calm down while she sent the other ones to go looking for some books, particularly the children, to see if any of them mentioned something about what they just saw.

They spent hours but couldn't find any books talking about a creature without a face with no skin and that opened doors to get to wherever they wanted to get, such lazy creatures, ain't it?

“If we can't find anything about them here, doesn't that mean it is a dead end cause this is the only place we found books that talk about things we can't find outside the black market, and here?“ Olivia asks Axell since they group themselves into 2 to go quicker so as always Axell will always choose Olivia and she too chooses Axell

“I guess, but I'm sure there's something about them here somewhere, we just can't quite put our hand on it yet” replied Axell

Leah was in the middle of the library talking to the other children and Professor who had seen this and was now scared to death.

“Okay, listen, everyone, I need you to stay quiet and please think about something else and not what you just saw”

“But what was that exactly? I've been an archaeologist and taught it for more than 10 years and never came upon something like that till now”

Even when Leah made him sign to stop talking he kept going.

“Created by a child just minutes after she dreams of it, is intriguing for me”

“Professor, professor Dupon — why don't you come with me for a second”

“Oh yes, did I — did I say something wrong? Cause I was just saying how cool it is for a child with such a tale—” he attempted to say while his eyes clued on Ludmilla's sitting in a corner by herself still in shock, just before Leah cut him to say

“No, no, no, not at all, I just want you to—”

“Okay, Devonte why don't you take over and come up with an activity that will make them put their mind on something else, you know what I mean?“

“Absolutely Madame Leah—”

Then he came a little bit closer to her “You need to talk to her cause she doesn't want to talk to anyone else, poor thing she is traumatized”

“I hear you, Devon, I will talk to her later but for now do as I say, and don't let a word about what just happened get out of this room, please”

“I'll try my best” he simply respond

“You got it”

She started to make her way out of the library she asked Prof Dupon to follow her

Outside was Jackson who was guarding the main door, talking with one of the children

“I'm trying to get inside to grab a book I think I lost here for my assignment,” said the girl whom Matthew, one of Marty's friends was bullying earlier.

Hot slim petite black girl, with green pale short hair, and green eyes but it is obvious that she is wearing contacts to change the real color of her eyes and with long nails.

“What is the name of the book again? So I can ask someone to grab it for you cause right now the library is closed to everyone”

“I think it's Ecology 5, something like that, let me check on my note to make sure”

She opens a notebook and says “Yes, that's the name of it” to confirm

He put his hand on the radio attached to his shirt and started barking “I want someone to look for a book named Ecology 5 and bring it outside for me, please”

“Copy” the voice on the radio confirmed

That's when Leah got closer to them and her eyes met with Jackson's she tilted her head surprised to see one of the children was in front of him.

“What are you doing here Helda?“

“I just got here to grab a book for an assignment and I will be right back to my room after I got it Mama Leah, nothing else”

“Someone from the inside is taking care of it now so no worry” Added Jackson

“Okay, I want everyone to stay in their room, no one gets in and no one gets out, just lock this floor, please”

“Got it, ma'am"

“Also classes are over and Jackson I want you with me so ask someone else to replace you”

As soon as he was trying to open his radio and say something one of the guards appeared with a book in his hand.

“Here's the book you asked for Sir”

“Thanks”

He grabs it and gives it to Helda when the other guard is about to get back inside he calls him “Oh hey 231, can you please replace me here and please no one can get in and out until ma'am or I say so, clear?”

“Clear sir”

Then he nodded.

“Hey, 231 on the radio, the chief is not here but he left me in command pls initiate project lockdown until Maam or Sir say something, got it?”

“copy” the voice on the radio replied

Arriving in front of the room they were headed toward, with Leah leading them, there was a red door, and on the inside were loads of bizarre stuff, it almost looked like this was a private room or storage where the archeologists and scientists put all the stuff they discovered after all Leah called herself a scientific, right?

After they got inside Jackson began to look all over the room, with a smiley look on his face, it was certain that he liked it there cause who wouldn't, it looked almost like a museum.

But what does that mean? Why did Leah bring him in here when he is nothing like an archaeologist or scientist but a security guard? That was all the question he was asking himself just before he went louder.

“Maam, do you mind me asking why am I here? I'm nothing like you so why is the importance of me being here with you?“

“To do what you always do?“

“which is protecting me, I'm going near that thing and I don't know what it can do or if it possesses so I trust no one but you to be by my side” She stated while glancing at him in a way like she was flirting or something, but sometimes looks can be deceiving like they used to say.

Then she lowered her gaze and approached Doc 1, Doc 2, and Doc 3 plus that skinny guy who goes by Jhon, the one who went to call them the last time, he looked like their assistants, they were waiting for her in the room while saying “Okay, let's do this, time to find out why this thing appears in her dream”

Jackson was standing still after she heard Leah say that to him, and then he turned his head to look at the door shortly closed behind him, it had something written on it like Area 01 he took a deep breath and decided to take a few steps to them.

“it seems like nothing but just a prank to me, I think that the girl is trying to prank us,” said Doc 2

“Listen you don't know Lud as I do, she is a fragile young girl but fragile doesn't mean she gets scared easily”

“She is the bravest girl I've ever seen, but now seeing the look on her face she is frightened as she should be to be honest, because who would not get the creep from that thing?”

“Did you touch it?” asked Professor Dupon

“No, why would I, unless you would have the honor to,” Asked Doc 3

“hell no, why me?”

“Well, let's say this is the reason why you are here, professor Dupon— after all you are the archeologists in here, you touched everything strange you see, I think this is a job for you,” added Leah

“Agree,” says Doc 3 while crossing her arms

“Is it too late to change our minds, burn that shit and get out here” Suggested Prof Dupon

“I'm afraid you don't have a choice so better get to work,” said Leah

They hand over to him a pair of globes and a casket with a light attached and make space for him to get closer.

As he approaches the light flashes on the thing and then transitions onto the children in the library still searching for a book that mentions something about that mysterious creature.

“It's been hours since we've been looking for that book and still nothing,” says Ethan

“I gave up long ago, I suggest you do the same!!” responded Marty leaning on a post while eating a chocolate bar

“Bro, you've been eating all that time while I'm doing the hard work?”

“Do you have a prob with that?”

“Well, obviously I have more than enough of your lazyass, I'm done,”

“As you should, cause you were wasting your time my friend”

While He began to step out of this section of the library, he heard him say that he stopped for a second to turn and look at him laying his ass on the ground this time.

“Where did you find a chocolate bar in a library anyway?“

“A magician never reveals his secrets —want one?“

He thinks about it for a few seconds and then he decides to take it and sit right next to him.

“What is your name again new kid?“

“It's been more than weeks since I've been here and you're saying you still don't know my name?“

“Consider yourself lucky I even ask, I've been with them since I was like 2, technically a baby there are some of them I still don't know their name nor dare to even ask so—”

“Yeah right, Ethan!!”

“cool, I'll try to remember this time but it's not a promise.”

They stayed there for a while, Ethan's eyes were clued to Axell and Olivia who were still searching for the book on the other side, just before Olivia went to sit, taking a break, leaving Axell by himself. They were joking and Olivia couldn't stop laughing then Ethan finally broke the silence.

“What is it with that guy? What is so special about him that makes everyone want to be close to him that much even Mama Leah?“

“what do you mean by even Mama Leah?“ Marthy lifts his head to ask.

“Don't tell me you don't see the way he and Ludmilla are so close to her it almost seems like she likes them better than the others, better than you— she even has a private room next to Mama Leah's.”

“Oh, you are talking about number one?“

“See even you can't stop calling him that, don't you realize what that means? it's sus."

He Smirk and replied, “No, I started calling him that as a joke, and to respond to your question he doesn't have anything special about him— or does he?“

“yeah right? Keep telling yourself that, even that girl says otherwise.”

“Olivia? No there is nothing between them and there will never be trust me.”

“Why do you say it like that, was there a past between you two?“

“Yeah, but I don't want to talk about it,”

“You know what a matter of fact I want to, there was a time I was that close to her once, one day I got stuck in a room with her for a day, and after we went free the others assumed that something happened between us, and I lied by saying yes trying to be the cool guy while nothing happened, it was just a kiss since then we never talk.”

“Damn, that's messed up, you don't ever do that so what were you thinking?“

“You think I don't know that?”

“Anyway, just don't let that define who you are, just show her you are not the same person you were before and take her back before you regret this,”

For once Marty slowed down from eating his snack to look at Ethan and focus on what he was trying to tell him.

“You know what, I think I started to like you — I just realized we have a lot in common, we both have a thing against Axell”

“Wait what? Not at all,”

“Yes, you are jealous of him for some reason, I don't know why now but believe I'll find out sooner or later,”

“I'm telling you it's not what you think, it's just I like it when it's fair for everyone, I hate playing favorites.”

With this last famous word, he glances at Axell reading a book while Olivia falls asleep behind him in disgust just before getting a bite of the chocolate bar.

And then back in the room with the red door, they were still trying to find out what was off with the creepy thing but they couldn't find anything wrong, maybe it was just a simple sculpture after all without anything off about it just the creepy face but who's going to tell them.

Prof. Dupont turned a little bit on the left around it with a magnifying glass and then turned right once again the way he was at first, inhaled then put the glass down abruptly.

“Okay, ladies —”

He takes a glance at Jackson and the boy behind him and adds “And gentlemen— there is nothing wrong with this, it's just that it looks odd nothing else.”

“Too bad, cause I was convinced there was,” said Doc 1

“This is not the first time I've seen this — figure, or I've seen something that looks exactly like it in a book or something but I can't recall where” exclaimed Jackson

“So do I,” said Doc 1

“Okay, maybe we should get back to what we were doing just before I pulled you guys into this, “ says Leah

“I think we should get back and see if the children found something,” continues Jackson

They headed back to the library and found the other group that was in the library, as soon as Leah got there, she went straight to Ludmilla, to communicate with her as she should do earlier and try to comfort her.

“Hey Lud, how's it going? Are you hanging in there?“ she shouted while doing the sign language

Ludmilla takes her headphones off for the first time to answer her.

“Yeah, I guess - find anything?“

“No that's the thing, we were worried for nothing and I don't even think the others found a book that says something about it either,”

“I don't think so, they've been here for a while,”

“I think we should tell everyone that there is nothing to worry about and let them go and rest what do you think?“

She nodded.

“Axell, Jig, Olivia all of you guys leave what you were doing and come here,”

They heard her and tried to do as she said which was gather themselves around.

Jigxie and Leo left their section and got into Olivia's and Axell's section just to find out Olivia was napping leaving Axell doing all the hard work.

“Yoo Ax, we couldn't find anything, how is going on your side?“

“Same brother, I think we are wasting our time here, let's go and join her,”

“Wait— how long she's been sleeping here for?” asked Jigxie

“Oh, crap— that's why it was so quiet in here, I didn't even realize that I thought she went somewhere or something,” Axell said

“Should we wake her up she seems so exhausted, poor thing?” asked Leo

“I got this,”

“Hey Olvy!!” Continues Jigxie

“Time to wake up beautiful.”

“Oh shit, how long I've been sleeping here for?“

“Not for long just about 10 minutes or some,” stated Axell

When all of them gather around Leah, and then Leah begins talking.

“Okay ya'll fake alert, we've been analyzing the sculpture, and there is nothing wrong about and we've been scientists and archaeologists for more than 10 years, isn't that right Prof. Dupont?“

They started laughing.

She looks at Ludmilla and resumes her little speech “So yeah, I've also talked to Ludmilla and she said he did it as a joke which she never did before, she might have been bored poor girl,”

“Okay, go in your room, take a bath, and rest for tomorrow it was all a misunderstanding, all right? and— not a word to the others of what just happened here, I'm going to deal with her myself.”

They got up and began making their way out including the children but she stopped them before going out.

“Hey, not you 7th, you will stay here with me and go through what you guys just did, for a second.”

“What?“screamed Marty only to receive another elbow kick but this time by Olivia.

After they escorted everyone to their quarters Devonte broke the silence to say what everyone was thinking.

“Is it me or I'm not buying you guys' little act, what was that even about again?“

“I'm glad you understand what's going on please now follow my lead” Answers Leah

“You really think some of them going to buy this as well, do you?“

“What to not buying? It was just a joke that's it, let them run their mouth all they can, who's going to believe them anyway?“

“Well maybe not all of them but Cynthia will make sure of that, she was with them and she saw everything — especially the way she responded to you guys saying that it was an act.” Stated Devonte

“Don't worry I take care of this already,” she explained

“Wait— what do you mean—?“

She left him standing and went to the children.

“Okay guys, all of this was also an act so I can get rid of them and have the space for ourselves”

“Thanks for tagging along dear!!“ she said to Ludmilla

“So what's next?“ asked Ethan

“Thanks for asking Ethan but one thing I learned from my mother is something she said to me a long time ago, 'If in your dream you saw something react to you as if they know you were dreaming especially in a lucid dream when you also know it's a dream, don't take it for granted' so that's what we are going to do, act upon it.”

“So what are your suggestions? cause we still can't find anything about it as if it's never existed,” says Olivia

“Perhaps it's never existed before but now it is” affirmed Devonte

“Okay, I got an idea.“ stated Axell

“If it's chosen to appear now it is sure that someone else apart from Ludmilla stumbled upon it before,“

“True but what are you trying to say Axell,” said Jigxie

“So what I'm trying to say is that since I am the only one who's aware that we are training —”

“What do you mean by you're the only one? I know exactly it is training” Marty interrupted him to say

“Just let me finish Marty, I know that you all know but you guys never had a trainer appear in front of you and make it clear that you're being trained so far but me”

“So my idea is to go to sleep right now and question my trainer about that thing, he said he will always answer my questions but with some conditions”

“Don't worry it's just something related to training nothing more.”

“I might have a solution for that, I asked Doc Mech to work on a little device that will allow you guys to sleep without taking this pill, which will decrease the risk of you behind drugs —I hate the thought of it.”

“Where is it,” asked Devonte

“In my room let me ask Jackson to bring it for us here, just give me a second.”

She went into a corner opened her iPod and communicated something to Jackson.

While Jackson was In the hallway escorting the other people he received a message, he read it and went back to what he was doing.

“Prof Dupont we will need you shortly but it's only if everything goes according to that plan.”

“What do you mean by that exactly?“

“Oh, you know exactly what I'm talking about, but I don't mind making it clear for you— so what I mean is if you keep your mouth shut, capiche?“

“Yes, but it's not me you should worry about.”

“I know.”

At the same time he was talking with Prof Dupont, Cynthia walked past them he stopped the conversation to try to catch Miss Cynthia and then left Prof Dupont to enter his room.

“Hey Miss Cynthia, do you have a second?“

She began to enjoy it as much as Jackson was and then the moment cut to a sudden stop.

She said when she saw the thing Jackson was holding.

It was a device like the other device they used to take temperature but this one had two huge flat lights attached to it.

“Nothing— you did not see shit today”

He flashes her face which makes her close her eyes real quick and when she opens them she is surprised to see a very handsome gentleman, well-armed tall still standing in front of her.

“Hey Jack, how nice of you for agreeing to accompany me to my room. I appreciate the gesture”

He glances at her and she glances back with a lovely smirk on her face.

“Have a good night, Miss Cynthia” and then he left.

He walks till he gets to Leah's room does what she asks of him and then comes back.

“Here you go ma'am"

They all approach to see up close what it was and what it was made of.

It was made out of wires, 4 long and curvy wires put together, and when they put it in your head, one of the wires sits in the back of your head, one sits on your forehead like a bandana and the two others sit right in the middle, then all of these wires connected in one dot on the side of the person face who will wear it, out of the surface of the ear, but except in the right one, there was two buttons, one above another with two yellow lights.

“How does that work exactly” asked Devonte

“Okay, the person going to put it on, and when the person is in a comfortable position, he's going to use his finger to press the bottoms at the same time to activate it, it usually takes 8 or 10 minutes before falling asleep” explained Leah

“How did you know that?“asked Olivia

“Dr. Mech tried it on a patient and what do you think this was in my room for?“

Olivia shrugged.

“I've been using it for the past 2 days to fall asleep quicker, I'm a bit impatient when it comes to my sleep time, especially after a tiring and long day” she continued

They smirked.

“Okay Axell let's try your plan out and see if it could work,” said Leah

“Definitely, but how are we going to do that?“

“Easy, please Jackson help me put this couch in the middle of the room,” asked Devonte and Jackson did as he asked which was helping him to put the couch in the middle of the room.

“You're going to lay down on this couch and use two of your fingers to press and then if they turn blue that means you are asleep” added Leah

Then they put the device in Axel's head and he lay down on the couch, Olivia and Leo approached him, she held his hand and she asked him.

“Are you sure you want to do this? Cause we can always find another way you know?“

“That's exactly what I am afraid of Liv, there is no other way” he started

“Okay, but we will stay here with you till you wake up,” said Olivia

“You got this buddy” added Leo

“Now whenever you are ready,” said Leah

“Okay, I'm ready,” he said while he bent his right arm, closing his first and pointing out his index and middle finger but just before he touched the buttons he tilted his face toward Olivia and said

“Never” she replied and then he turned his head to normal and pressed the buttons and 7 minutes later he fell asleep.

Once he entered the dream realm, he saw himself in that same dojo or should I say DAUJHO and there was that familiar voice calling to him saying “Axell, Axell find me” but he couldn't see who was it and where was that person calling up to him.

“Frank, how am I supposed to find you if I can't even see you? —please show yourself because I'm not in the mood to play hide-and-seek right now”

“But I'm afraid you don't have any other choice child, cause for me to answer all of the questions you came to ask me, you got to find me that was the deal, or else go back right where you came from which is in the waking wor—”

“wait, wait, wait, okay I will do it— so this is the challenge, right?“

“Axell, Axell, find me”

Axell closes his eyes, takes a deep breath, and says to himself “All right, focus”

The room suddenly turned dark as soon as he opened his eyes he saw that it was all dark, he stayed still for a bit in the middle of the darkroom, looking around even tho he couldn't see none.

Quickly he turned to face his left side and began walking straight forward him, at one point it seemed like the voice was guiding him but the theory changed cause the voice began to echo everywhere at once, it wasn't stable.

Axell began to get confused as to where to go, to find that old man, cause he sounded like he was everywhere and nowhere at the same time, how to catch someone when he was practically here and nowhere?

“What should I do? What should I do?“

“find me” the voice whispered into his ears once more

His head began spinning around, he couldn't control his thoughts and emotions, he had so many ideas running through his mind on how to find a solution but he couldn't even focus on a single one.

“Why can't I focus? —What's going on? —Why I am feeling that type of way?— are you the one doing this to me?“ he was asking so many questions but no one to answer them.

Things began changing once again but this time it was the voice, it became deeper and louder for no reason and was scary, Axell began shaking in terror without him wanting to feel that way.

“I'm not scared, I'm not scared, I'm not SCARED” he screamed

He shut his eyes once again trying to regain control over his mind and his body, trying to be calm.

“TRY TO FIND ME, hahaha”

“Just shut the fuck up” he yelled while his eyes were still shut.

A few seconds later he made a step to his right, without knowing where he was putting his feet, without knowing if he was going to bump into something, stumble, and fall. A force embraced him and There was something in his mind telling him that what he was doing was right, now he became more focused than ever.

“You're GOING to FALL,”

“you're NOT confident ENOUGH,”

“Watch out, You're GOING TO FALL, Hahaha”

the same voice kept saying while coming closer and faded away trying to unstabilize him but he wasn't paying attention to what was going in on this room but himself.

It was like that for a moment till he suddenly stopped, stretched out his arm slowly, and then immediately turned to his right and grabbed something.

The room turned to normal and then the Dojo he once knew began erasing from existence, and Frank appeared to be the one he holding on his neck.

“Ahem”

As soon as he opened his eyes, he saw what was going on, and he started apologizing.

“Oops, sorry”

“What was that exercise for anyway? I never liked them,” continued Axell

Frank did not say a word but simply lowered his head, glancing down, and through his eyes there was a bright red color.

“What?“ asked Axell right before he was about to look down and surprisingly he saw that he was standing on an extremely thin long white spot and down them was pure lava, he freaked out and began stumbling and was about to fall down but fortunately frank hand grab him and stabilize him.

“What the fuck is that? Where are we?“

“Son this is what the real Daujho looks like not that open space with the training toy, you always saw”

“But how is that possible?“ asked Axell

“here everything is possible, I just make you see everything I want you to see, even you can do this as long as you focus,” said Frank

“How I'm going to know that this is the real Daujho and what I'm seeing is not still your doing?“

“come with me,” asked Frank

Axell takes a little glance behind him and sees that where they have been training all this time now looks almost like a palm tree. And he began to follow Frank walking in the tree trunk to get to the bottom where the was a bright light calling them from the outside.

When they got there, Axell looked and saw that all that time he'd been training in the dream realm, he was only inside a cave, and he never saw anything about how the dream realm looked like.

When he glanced down, he saw buildings looking like England's historic buildings with a little Greek architecture and people walking down the streets

“See that I can't make you see it even tho I wanted to”

“Beautiful but I'm still confused about how you managed to train me in these thin wanna-be tree palm branches”

He smirks and says “Wanna be palm tree is such a good way to name it but remember I told you this is where a bunch of old legends, and heroes have been trained for years”

“So yeah once you got in the middle of this wanna-be palm tree where all of these branches meet, what you put in your head to see that's what you're going to create, and it will be very real believe me unless you doubt that it not which will put you in great risk — That will be my next lesson to you.” frank started.

“So what was you here for again? Isn't it something about the Distorted ones?“Frank asked

“Wait— so that's how you call them?“

“Yes, but that's not their only name, and if they are back now, only proves that you guys are the real talented ones and they are coming for you”

“They are back? They are coming for us? so that's not the only time they have been haunting people in the dream realm, is it?“

“No, these things, or beings call it whatever you want are dangerous even for me, that's why you need more training to get ready for what's coming”

“There is a notebook with a bunch of secrets, things a young boy was going through, and one of the things he was going through was the fact he couldn't stop to came across these doors every night he fell asleep began at the age of 15 years old, 2 months away from being 16 and one of the first door he opened in his dream that made him came across all these other doors was a red door”

“I heard of that story and behind one of the doors there was that old lady in the middle of the green forest with a bright crown on her head, she tried to kill him, but fortunately he succeeded by running away?“

“I'm afraid that wasn't the real story.”
