When Hazel, Phoenix and Zack got dressed into their uniforms, they had to change their last names in order to go to school. Phoenix Raven, Hazel Raven and Zack Raven. Siblings. The local school wasn't anything out of the ordinary. If they didn't succeed, they would end up moving very far away.

After breakfast and unpacking, they opened the door and made their way to school. Once they arrived and entered the gates there was no going back. They were all put in the same tutor. It was pretty boring and all the teacher nagged on about was the canteen. They weren't sure if it was a good thing or a bad thing. The school system was slightly different, you stayed in one class all day apart from tutor of course. When tutor had finished they followed everyone else to their classroom. They were confronted by the teacher on their way in. She was one of those teachers who never stopped smiling. When they entered and sat at their desks her name was wrote on the board. Miss Gordon. She had over exaggerated handwriting as if she was trying to say something else. Apart from that she was nice. She believed in the supernatural and told them much more about herself. After doing mathematics and enjoying break time, they were doing English next. They were learning about haiku's. Hazel's haiku gained her attention from the teacher. She had wrote it based on her experiences. As the moon rises. The beast unleashes power. Terror takes over. Miss Gordon took the pleasure of reading it out to the class. Hazel was burying her head in her hands. Phoenix and Zack were cracking up next to her. Everyone in the class seemed normal apart from a boy in the corner. Blue eyes. Blonde hair. Muscular arms. He was isolated. He glanced at Hazel often, Phoenix and Zack despised him. Both of them saw something in him that no one else did. Something abnormal. Once Hazel saw him once. That was enough. They shared glances at each over during class often distracted them both from the lesson.
