Chapter 19

"Hyunnie, we're here." Yoona softly whispered to Seohyun as she tapped the girl on her shoulders. After the long and tiresome 16 hours of flight, they have finally reached their destination; Rome, Italy.

"Uwahh.." Seohyun muttered quietly as she rubbed her eyes, "We're here?" she asked, blinking her eyes rapidly to shake the sleepiness out of her and let her grasp a sense of her surroundings. Upon blinking away her blurred vision, the first thing she saw was Yoona brightly smiling at her.

"Did you sleep well? We're the only one left in the plane." Yoona chuckled as she brush away Seohyun's hair bangs to a side and tucked it in along the shape of her ear, "You look cute when you're sleeping."

Seohyun could feel her cheeks heating once again, but before she had any chance to respond back, Yoona had already stood up from her seat and helped take down the luggage from the storage area.

"C'mon let's hurry out before they come and yell at us." She smiled and extended her hand. Seohyun hesitated for a split second, but in the end, she nodded and grasped Yoona's hand as she followed the girl's lead to the entrance of the plane, connected to a short walk way leading into the terminal.

Yoona coming with her on the trip was something she had never expected at all, she never felt a rush of happiness like she did when the stranger revealed to her that she was Yoona all along. Then again, she never felt so sad when Yoona lied to her about not being able to send her off to the airport. Maybe her Unnie was right, maybe, just maybe she does have a small crush on Yoona―which was why she was able to feel all of these mixed, weird feelings that she hadn't felt before. Plus, she never thought she'd blushed so many times in such a short interval between the flight and now―it all just adds up to the fact that what her Unnie said was the truth after all.

Was it Im Yoona that was able to shake Seohyun's heart and make her experience something called love for the first time? Seohyun couldn't recall the first time she had actually liked somebody; okay, maybe she did like somebody once―in third grade, but she wouldn't call that her first love or anything because she only liked the boy because his family owned a farm and his mom would always pack him sweet potatoes for lunch.

"Seo Joo-Hyun, any body name Seo Joo-Hyun?" An Italian guy in a black chauffeur suit shouted in English with a reminiscence of his Italian accent as he waved a sign of her romanized name up in the air.

"Right here!" Seohyun waved her hands as she and Yoona steadily fast walked up to him.

"You must be Seo Joo-Hyun, Come sta? How are you?" He asked as he extended a hand.

Seohyun smiled, grasped his hand and gently shook it,

"―and you are?" He asked, moving his extended hand towards Yoona but clearly Yoona did not know what he was talking about.

"He's asking who are you, tell him your name." Seohyun whispered.

"Im Yoona." Yoona smiled and shook his hand.

He smiled at the girl and began to introduce himself to both of them, but primarily aiming at Seohyun,

"My name is Agostino and I will be driving you, Ms. Seo Joo-Hyun to your hotel to check in for the night, after that, tomorrow morning I shall pick you up again from your hotel and we will have a 2 hour drive down to Pompeii to meet up with Professor Baek Chang-Su." He explained to Seohyun as he took hold of her baggage and led her out to a car.

"Wait, what hotel are you staying at?" Yoona suddenly asked.

"My professor booked me a room at Hotel Edera," Seohyun replied,

"Where did you book yours at?"

"I booked mine at the Gladiatori Palazzo, is it near yours?"

"Ah very nice choice of hotel, it is across the street from the Colosseum and at the heart of Rome. A very expensive 5 star hotel." Agostino said as he placed the baggages into the trunk and slammed it down, he had overheard Yoona saying the hotel's name and so he thought they were probably talking about the place.

"What did he say?" Yoona asked.

"He said that it's a good but expensive hotel and that the view is across from the Colosseum."

"You should come stay with me! I'm sure the view at my hotel is better than that Edera place." Yoona suggested with a grin.

"B-but my room is already booked?" Seohyun said unsurely―she wanted to make an excuse to not stay with Yoona, but at the same time she wanted to as well.

"I'm sure you can cancel it," Yoona said to Seohyun and smiled. She turned around to face Agostino and proceeded to tell him what to do using broken English and a variety of gestures.

"Can..you uhh," She said, extending her pinky and her thumb out to mimic a telephone, "Edera..cancel?"

Yoona's actions caused Seohyun to chuckle at the clueless girl who was persisting to continue with her explanation.

"Oh, you want me to cancel the room reservation at Hotel Edera?" Agostina asked to confirm and Yoona just nodded immediately without fully knowing what the guy had meant. However, she heard the keywords 'cancel' and 'Edera' put together in the sentence; so it probably meant that he knew what she was talking about and that was why she was confident in nodding her head.

"Can you..." Yoona continued, this time she mimicked a car's steering wheel, "To Gladiatori Palazzo?"

"Ah yes yes, no problem. I will make a call to Edera and cancel the room, then I will drive you to Gladiatori Palazzo. You can go in the car first to wait for me, I'll call them now." Agostino said as he opened the door the car while Seohyun playfully hurried Yoona into the vehicle.

"Well that was kind of embarrassing, I should have learned more English when my sister wanted me to." Yoona grumbled, her lips pursing.

Seohyun had to hold in her snicker to the girl's remark by covering her mouth with her hand, "You did fine, your English was okay!"

"Don't lie! He's probably laughing at me right now, and you too! You're laughing at me right now!"

"No I'm not! I'm laughing at his accent! He has a nice Italian accent!"

"You're laughing at MY accent!" Yoona corrected and it didn't take long for Seohyun as she couldn't hold it in any longer and broke out into a fit of giggles, laughing at the latter.

"Har har har, laugh all you want," Yoona deadpanned with an un-amused expression.

"Okay, let's stay serious now," Seohyun asserted, letting out any last giggles before making a straight face as she blew air and fanned herself to keep calm.

"You had a nice sleep on the plane huh? I keep hearing you mumble out words such as goguma and Keroro." Yoona changed the subject with a smug plastered over her previous frown.

"What!? I did?" Seohyun asked in disbelief, her cheek, yet again grew red at Yoona's claims.

Yoona nodded with a mischievous smile, "Do you like sweet potatoes a lot? Keroro too? I never knew that. Who knew that while you are sleep talking, you're actually revealing more about yourself to me?"

"Aigoo," Seohyun sighed, covering her face with her palms from the embarrassment but Yoona just laughed as she took the girl's hands away from her face and tilted her head to a side to meet her eyes with Seohyun, until the shy latter instinctively covered her face again to break off the eye contact; that is.

"Oh c'mon," Yoona chuckled, removing the Seohyun's hands away from her face once again and pinned it down beside her thighs, "It's not that embarrassing, at least no one heard it except me right? Every one was dead asleep on the plane." she said, letting go of the girl's hands.

"Why weren't you asleep then?" The younger girl asked as she pouted.

"Eh," Yoona started while laying back against the her seat, placing her hands behind her head, "I rather watch you sleep instead." she said, closing her eyes.

Seohyun just stared at the girl not knowing what to say and just said what popped into her mind  as a reaction, "And now you're sleepy?" she asked the girl, and Yoona nodded.

"Can I lay in your lap?" Yoona asked, still closing her eyes. It left the younger girl speechless as she now was seriously stuck with not knowing whether to say yes or just reject. She nodded her head in the end―even though Yoona couldn't see it but the girl had already started to slowly lay her head down on Seohyun's lap. She caused Seohyun to stiffened up and rested her arms lifelessly beside her.

Yoona smiled and shifted her head closer, "Just relax. Tell me to wake up when we arrive at the hotel."

She could still feel Seohyun stiff-like actions until the younger girl let out a heavy breath, "Okay." Seohyun softly said, assuring the latter as Yoona began to fall back to sleep.

"Sorry to keep you waiting, I guess I got caught up with things," Yuri said as she took seated beside Jessica once again after coming back from an ordeal she had with Tiffany. The girl had gone back to her dad, and so it was time for her to come back to Jessica as well.

"It's okay." Jessica assured with a forced smile. She doesn't know if she could genuinely smile or not after Yuri came back to her and acted like it was nothing with a simple apology. Like a while ago, where Tiffany had accidentally barged into their room―Yuri just left her without a hesitation to go after Tiffany; in the midst of her important confession and Yuri just left her like that. Is she a just a nobody to Yuri anymore?

She knew Yuri was often a oblivious person to others' infatuations towards her. But this had gone too far down that oblivious road to not understand what Jessica meant when she confessed that her feelings for Jay was false.

"So what were you saying?" Yuri asked. She was too caught up with the situation with Tiffany to remember what they were talking about before―or she just pretended that nothing happened to ease up their awkwardness.

"I don't think it's important to you anymore." Jessica said with a sigh as she picked up her bag and hastily told Yuri she was going to go home but the girl grabbed her arm and wouldn't let her leave.

"Don't leave when you still have to explain to me what you were talking about earlier."

Jessica sat her bags back onto the sofa and sat back down, "Like I said, I don't think it's important to you anymore. I don't think my words can affect you like it did befo―"

"How would you know that if you haven't tried to explain to me yet?" Yuri asked her brusquely.

Jessica smiled and shook her head, "I think I should just go home." she picked up her bag and was about to leave once again but Yuri persisted to not let her go.

Jessica took in a deep breath and proceeded to explain. Whatever happens would not matter to her anymore after this.

"I don't have feelings for Jay. It's all false. My engagement to him was just to prove to myself that I'm not gay, and to assure my mom that I am straight. I tried to love him but I just can't."

"And why is that? Why can't you love him when you know how much he loves you?"

Jessica scoffed, "Isn't the answer very obvious already?"

"You're still in love with me."

"Now that you know, can I leave now?" Jessica asked, picking up her bag. She didn't know how many times she had irritated Yuri already because of the sight of her picking up her bag and her decision of wanting to leave.

"How can you try to leave after you just told me that?" Yuri asked her when she was about to open the door.

Jessica turned around and smiled, "There isn't much that I can do, can I?"

Yuri got up from her seat and slowly walked up to Jessica, the latter opened the door and successfully headed out of the room but Yuri grabbed onto her hands and pulled her back in before closing the door and pinned the girl roughly against the door, causing her to drop her bag onto the floor.

Jessica tilted her head away from Yuri to avoid eye contact, "What do you want?"

"There isn't much on what you can do, but there's something that I can do." Yuri stated confidently and breathlessly.

"And what is th―" Jessica wanted to ask but Yuri silenced her with her lips pressed hard against her, causing her head to bang back painfully against the door―but she didn't even mind about that. Yuri closed her eyes and placed her hands on Jessica's shoulders to keep her in place as she resumed her ministrations.

Jessica could feel a rush of electrical surges going through her. They kissed passionately until she removed Yuri's hands from her shoulders and wrapped her own arms around the girl's neck as Yuri quickly proceeded to wrap her pair of limp arms around Jessica's waist. Their lips were sealed in the kiss and it was like magic to how their lips had connected, and how intense the stimulation was to the both of them. Dizziness engulfed the adjoined bodies, giving them a hard time standing up. It felt like the day they had their first kiss with each other all over again. The sparks,―everything.

Jessica could feel Yuri's tongue sliding, probing the smooth length of her soft lips asking permission for entrance and it was a no brainer that Jessica allowed such access. Yuri's bottom lip pursed tightly over Jessica's as their tongue battled it out. After two long years of a bitter goodbye, they were finally able to confess their feelings again in an intimate way, and their lips had finally met with each other once again after parting away for so long.

They both pulled away and gasped, breathing in the air that was lost; the lost oxygen that caused the symptoms of their dizziness as they both stared in each other's eyes.

"You know what this is going to lead to right?" Jessica leaned in and whispered softly against Yuri's ears.

No words were exchanged after that, only actions followed as Yuri locked the door to their room.

Jessica laid in her bed and closed her eyes to relive the event that happened between her and Yuri, she however was snapped out of her thoughts when Jay crept up to her on the bed and started to lay soft kisses on her arms up to her cheeks before moving up to her lips but Jessica stopped him before he could continue on with his ministrations.

"Baby what's wrong?" Jay asked, staring at her in confusion.

She didn't say anything, but she was curious to what it felt like to kiss him again and see how it matched up to the one she had with Yuri the other day.

"Nothing, just kiss me."

Jay sealed his lips against hers, but nothing, she couldn't feel the sparks, the statics, the anything that she felt when Yuri kissed her. It was the truth, she did not like Jay; she never did, and she never will.

She pushed him away again, leading him to be bewildered about her bipolar actions.

"Is there something wrong?" He asked.

Jessica nodded, "I forgot, it's the time of the month again." she lied to him. He let out a groan but smiled, "It's fine, can we at least kiss?"

"Sorry, I don't have the mood to do anything when it's the time of the month."

He immediately frown and displeasure was shown plastered on his face as he hovered off her and took the TV remote before resting beside her, flipping through the channels.

Jessica just pulled the comforter closer to her as she closed her eyes and once again tried to relive the moments. She knew it was wrong to Jay, but she just couldn't help the fact that she doesn't love him.

---

"Oh my God, look at the view outside!" Seohyun gasped, dropping her bags inside of the hotel room and quickly walked out to the balcony overlooking the glowing Colosseum that lit up the  dark night.

"This is the first time I've seen the Colosseum like this up close and not in pictures." Yoona told her as she walked up beside the girl awing at the sight, "See? I told you to come with me instead of that Edera place. This hotel is expensive, but my sister is paying for it so it's all good." she smiled and walked up to one of the beds in the room before dropping lifelessly down, earning a chuckle from Seohyun as the younger girl walked up to her and slightly kicked her on her legs.

"That's not nice for your sister."

"Well, I can't afford it, and someone has to pay. She couldn't resist my aegyo when I asked her to go to Italy." Yoona laughed, sitting up straight again, eyeing Seohyun who was unloading her baggage while sitting on her own bed.

"What does your aegyo sound like when you show it to your sister?"

"Eh, it's uh...let's just say you'll curl up your fingers upon hearing it."

"I wanna see it!" Seohyun suggested with a huge smile on her face.

"You rather not." Yoona shook her shoulder.

"Oh c'mon! Show it to me!" Seohyun insisted.

"Are you sure?" Yoona asked.

Seohyun didn't say anything but just nodded her head rigorously, watching as Yoona walked up to her and stood in front of her, leaning her head down a bit to face Seohyun.

"Seohyuuunniiiie."

Yoona said with her aegyo voice, leaning in further until the younger girl fell flat onto her back on the bed; both of Yoona's arms were rested beside her as she was now 'accidentally' hovering over the latter.

Their eyes were locked with one and another and Seohyun could feel her heart rate speeding up when Yoona eyed her lips and began to lean in closer...
