Surprisingly, Akio woke up even before her alarm rang and jumped out of bed.

"Maybe, I should go for a jog first,"

She struggled more than she thought. Certainly, she was more out of shape than before too. She remembered the perseverance of all the volleyball members from yesterday and pushed her way through. Finally, she arrived back home. The house was quiet. She rushed in, took her ball and ran to the park where the volleyball nets she had practised on was.

She stood on the lines and breathed just as she had done in the Karasuno gymnasium. She threw the ball up and smacked it as she remembered. She watched the ball go over the net ... further ... and further ... and further and past the line. She clenched her fist and went to pick up the ball serving again. This time the ball was inside the court but not where she wanted. She needed to be more accurate. She could once do it. Why could she not now? She took her water bottle and placed it where she was going to aim the ball. She walked over to the other side and raised the ball. She took a deep breath and slowly exhaled before throwing the ball and SMACK. The ball hurtled over the net and onto the bottle.

Akio felt a smirk emerge onto her face. The same feeling she had all those years ago, the same feeling that she realised so much it drove her to pushing herself too hard and her friends. Akio closed her eyes. If she were to come back to volleyball, she would not let that happen.

Akio went back to position the water bottle and again repeated those steps: exhale, throw, hit. SLAM. The water bottle was on the floor.

"Aarghhh!" Akio heard a scream and turned quickly. The first year, blond haired manager, Yachi or Yachu was standing there.

"Sorry," Akio replies sheepishly.
"Akio-san!" The girl exclaimed bowing, "Sorry, I really was not expecting that," Yachi said.
"It's alright, Yachi-kun," Akio said.
"Your serve was amazing!" Yachi exclaimed, "Why aren't you part of the girl's volleyball team,"
Alike shrugged.
"I haven't played in ages, maybe later," she replied.
"But this is your last year," the girl pointed out and Akio froze. She was right and there was only one or two months till Spring High.
"Yeah," Akio said smiling, "We'll see,"
