Haiku

I was waiting in the nearby cemetery for my best friend, Lucy. I could tell that something happened yesterday by the tone of her voice which made me a little bit nervous. I met almost all of her siblings including her oldest. I didn't enjoy the experience. All she talked about was about herself or her boyfriend. Ugh. It doesn't help that she tried to make her brother date her boyfriend's sister. 

"She knows that Lincoln can date multiple girls, but why was she so insistent on making him date only one?" I uttered to myself. I already knew the answer....it was her own selfish desire. To keep her boyfriend despite his obvious devotion to her. I was cut off by the sound of footsteps approaching...I quickly turned around to see my best friend only to see that she had her eyes open for the world to see. 

"Is this the important thing that you needed to tell me Lucy?" I asked her.

"Not exactly....my mother decided to cut my bangs so I can see everything without hair going everyone around my face." Lucy said.

"Okay then. Anyway...What's the news?" I asked.

"Lori's been arrested." She said.

"I'm sorry to say that, but it isn't exactly surprising to me." I said. I'm sure that I'm not the only one thinking that since she always rubbed people the wrong way. It didn't help that she seemed to praise her boyfriend and would do anything to keep him. Even if that meant causing misery to everyone surrounding her. 

"I figured as much. However, why she was arrested will be shocking." Lucy said causing my eyebrow to hitch a little. After that, Lucy started to tell me the events that lead to Lori's arrest and what happened afterward. When she was finished...I looked a little shocked before masking it again. I couldn't tell her that I had feelings for her brother since it was going to be so awkward..especially since so many other girls liked him as well. 

"Your sister's soul is darker than I've ever imagined." I stated.

"We hardly seen the signs until that moment and now my family and I are going to change for the better. Besides I have a feeling like my brother deserves as much. Especially in his love life." Lucy said.

"What are you..."I started to say before Lucy interrupted me.

"I know that you're in love with my brother." She said.

"Sigh...I guess nothing gets past you." I stated.

"Don't worry...I'm not going to try to make you fall in love with someone else. Besides there's nothing stopping you from getting into a harem with him and Ronnie Anne." Lucy said.

"I see. So want to show Rocky...your eyes?" I asked which caused her to blush slightly. It was a good time for the both of us to talk this out. And who knows...maybe we'll become sisters if her brother doesn't reject my feelings. 

Carol

I was finishing up my homework when my cellphone started to ding. It was Mona, one of my friends who Lori and I mutually are friends with. I wanted to ignore it, but I knew that she will just keep dinging my phone until I see what she sent. So I opened it up and saw something that made my blood run cold:

Did you know that Lori got arrested yesterday?

How did they....before I finished that question, I mentally smacked myself. It was obvious that someone must have talked about what happened and probably filmed or took a picture of Lori in handcuffs.

No. I wonder what she did to get arrested?

I wanted to see how much information was out there since Leni and the rest of her siblings would have to answer multiple questions about what occurred. Especially Lincoln who would have to live with an eyepatch since his eye was destroyed.

Who knows? Someone just posted a picture of her in handcuffs. 

When I read that...I breathed a sigh of relief. There was little to no information about the circumstances behind it...but I should probably tell Leni that someone posted a picture of Lori being taken to juvie. Which is too good for her if you ask me. But I didn't have time to dwell on it since I had check in on Bobby. Since there's a high chance that he's probably confused on how to break it off. Not to mention that his family would probably ask questions on why he suddenly decided to end the relationship. 

Shaking my head, I continued to complete my homework while thinking about supporting Bobby. Unaware on how taxing the next couple of weeks will be on the town.
