A/N: I would like to apologize a head of time if at any point the story seems rushed. I'm just losing interest in writing this story. I have a lot planned but I don't know how to properly excute it nor do I have the determination to try and excute it beautifully like I normally could. I'm going to complete this story, messy and all, then I'll be focusing on my OC book. When I do come back here to write I'll be writing Fuck You since I know people really want that story and like I got you don't worry.

I'm rushing this story because I want to complete Dance Til You Bleed which I'm working quite hard on, as well as so I don't try to start Fuck You and then end up burnt out.

So! If you have issues with the pacing in this story I apologize but that's just how it's gonna have to be.

Thank you and enjoy chapter 24.

-------------------

Liz hated storms. Despised them.

As a child, they never meant anything good. When he had his own child they kept her up at night. When there was a storm, for some reason, Jimin's heart reacted strongly. Constant screaming and crying at the top of his lungs late into the night.

He's learned to stay up until the storms are over. Until the pounding on the window ceased and the screaming outside silenced. It’s how he’s wired. It’s something Taehyung could never get used to.

He never noticed it much when they were younger and first started dating, but now that he sleeps beside him every night, he tends to notice the lack of his husband’s presence when there’s a storm howling outside.

It was one of those nights. Rein was fast asleep and Liz was sitting on the window nook and stared outside as rain drowned the ground outside.

"You're not even going to come to bed this time?" Taehyung sighed as he walked towards his husband.

"It's hard to sleep when you know the people you love are constantly under attack."

"Liz—"

"I've made the mistake of not immediately going to see my brother in the hospital too many times. I wanna be awake this time around. Their house was bombed and someone shot into their nursery."

Liz slowly turned to Taehyung who had a pained look on his face.

"Jimin and Serein could've been killed," Liz whispered sharply.

Taehyung exhaled softly and walked over to sit behind Liz. Liz moved forward to allow his husband to sit behind him. Taehyung wrapped his arms around Liz's waist and kissed his cheek softly.

"They're okay."

"But they could not have been."

Taehyung squished Liz tighter.

"I guess I take after papa."

"Hmm?"

"Papa is always stressed out and worried about all of us. I'm surprised all of his hair isn't gray by now. But Jimin takes after dad. He's protective and more about fighting. You know that."

Taehyung hummed as he held Liz close to his chest.

"I understand. Then do you think they should quit the mafia boss too, like papa? Jungkook and your dad?"

Liz nodded.

"Absolutely. I wish they'd just… I know they can't but I wish they would just run away from it all. It's hard to leave when you're born into it, you know? That's why I worry for Prince and Serein. I'm sure my brothers would make a way if they didn't want to become a part of the mafia life, like how dad found a way for me. But even still."

Taehyung hummed in understanding.

"I'm sure everything's fine. They are professionals after all."

Liz stared out of the window at the pouring rain and held Taehyung's hands.

"Yeah…"

Jimin rolled over and smoothed out the side of the bed where his husband should've been. He slowly sat up and smoothed his hair down. He turned his attention to his baby sleeping in the crib next to his side of the bed.

He sat up and noticed their bedroom door was opened. He got out of bed, rubbed his baby's cheek, and then traveled out of their bedroom.

Jungkook was pacing as he whispered hastily into his phone.

"No! No! I've told you! We're not bringing him into this."

"God, you're such an idiot! You can't throw out some willy nilly plan! I've got a husband and kids to come back to."

He stopped pacing and stood still with his back towards Jimin, who he had no idea was there.

"If you aren't at the meeting tomorrow, so help me I'll—"

Jungkook sighed.

"Fine. Alright."

Jimin touched Jungkook's shoulder and his head whipped to look at his husband. His eyes were wide and Jimin raised his eyebrows at him.

"I've gotta go. Bye," Jungkook hung up as he still stared at his love.

"What're you doing up?"

"You weren't in bed," Jimin answered monotonously. "Who were you talking to?"

Jungkook looked at his phone and then looked back at his husband.

"Oh, it's no one important. Let's just head back to bed."

Jungkook tried to usher Jimin back into their bedroom but Jimin didn't budge.

"It's four in the morning and you're on the phone with no one important?"

Jungkook nodded and reached for Jimin's arm. Jimin ripped his arm away and squinted at his husband.

"What's been going on? It's like you and dad alike are sworn to secrecy. I'm your husband, you should be at least giving me some run down?"

Jungkook sighed and put his hands on his hips. He looked around the hallway, silence rang in his ears.

"It's business."

"You always tell me business," Jimin scowled.

"Well, I can't tell you this business alright? Don't be difficult, not right now."

"Just… how dangerous is it?"

"Just—"

"And don't lie to me. The last time you did I almost fucking lost you, Jeon."

Jungkook sighed and ran his hand through his hair.

"Okay, I'm not gonna lie, there's a chance we might die."

Jimin's body straightened up, his eyes widened, his blood ran cold, and a small gasp mixed with yelp left his mouth.

Jungkook was quick to comfort his husband. He grabbed his arms and kissed his lips a few times and then held his face.

"But!" Jungkook was quick to say before the idea could sink into Jimin's mind.

"Your dad is making our plan. So, it's okay! It's fine. We're gonna be just fine. Has your dad ever had a near death experience?"

"Not… not that I know of," Jimin mumbled as he looked down at the ground.

"See," Jungkook wrapped his arms around his husband's body.

He left a small peck on his love's temple and pulled back.

"Don't you trust me?" Jungkook pulled away and smiled.

"No," Jimin deadpanned.

Jungkook clicked his tongue and went to pull away completely from Jimin who laughed and grabbed his arms.

He kissed his lips and smiled.

"Of course I do. Don't lie to me. Never again."

Jungkook hummed and nodded.

Jimin didn't believe him.

Jungkook didn't believe himself either.

Halo stared at his mate as he flipped through maps, papers, and recordings.

"What is it this time?"

Halo blinked a few times before shaking his head when his husband looked at him.

"Nothing. I'm just admiring you."

Leo chuckled as he sat down his pen and turned to look at the younger omega.

"No you're not."

"Hey! How are you going to tell me what I am and am not doing?" Halo pouted and raised an eyebrow.

Leo stood up and walked over to where Halo was sitting. He lifted his chin to make eye contact with him and Halo scowled.

"Don't get any ideas, I'm still mad at you."

Leo grinned.

"See, that's why I knew you weren't admiring me."

Halo rolled his eyes and slapped Leo's hand away.

"You've never worried about this before. Why are you so worried now?"

"Two things," Halo held up two fingers and Leo nodded for him to continue.

"One, I've always worried about this so you're sorely mistaken, my dear husband. And two, it's because you're old now," Halo whined and shook his shoulders.

"Hey!"

"Still as sexy as ever though," Halo grinned.

Leo rolled his eyes.

"But I'm just saying you won't bounce back as easily as before."

"I beg to differ. Stop doubting my abilities," Leo scrunched up his nose as he pinched Halo's cheeks.

Halo grabbed his hands and groaned. Leo smiled and moved his hands to hold the omega's face instead.

"You trust me don't you?"

"Not at all."

"Hey," Leo scowled as he squished Halo's cheeks who giggled up at him.

Leo leaned down and continuously pecked Halo's lips.

"I'll bring you back his head," Leo smirked.

"And they say chivalry is dead," Halo smirked back.

"So," Yo-un blew the smoke from his cigarette out of his mouth, "what's the plan?"

Jungkook reached over and snatched the cigarette from his hand and put it out. He scowled at Yo-un.

"Be fucking respectful," Jungkook whispered through clenched teeth as Leo turned on a fan and opened a window.

Yo-un mumbled an apology as Leo cleared his throat.

"They haven't moved."

Jungkook and Yo-un nodded.

"Which means they're planning their next move of attack."

They nodded again.

"They could be anywhere from Guam to Black Diamond."

"I've got people in Black Diamond," Yo-un looked up at Leo who smirked.

"Will they be of any help?"

"Of course. They all owe me anyway."

"Give them a call and have them be on the lookout. We can use all the help we can get."

Yo-un nodded and wrote that information down in order to remember it later.

"Genocide has a pattern. Since they've stopped in this area that means, like I said, they're planning. Since Quiet Meadows has everyone on their toes, Black Doves is well feared, and Deadly Fires is well respected, they have no clue where to go from here. They won't attack us head on, they don't have the supplies."

"So, what should we do? Attack them head on instead?" Yo-un raised an eyebrow.

Leo shook his head and opened his mouth to speak before Jungkook interrupted.

"They have a weak offense, yeah, but they also have an extremely strong defense."

"Well that's some shit," Yo-un mumbled.

"We can't just attack them head on in their own safe place. They'll have their weapons and they'll have their bases. We'd need to scope out where they are."

Jungkook hummed.

"They won't move for a few weeks, minimum. So we've got to act fast."

"Any ideas, boys? Or do I have to do everything myself?"

"We can use Yo-un's people to find them, cover most of the grounds and see where they are. Once we do, I'll send some of my people out to place wires."

"Wires?" Yo-un raised an eyebrow at Jungkook with a frown.

"Mics. Trackers. Cameras."

"Ah," Yo-un nodded.

"And then?" Leo smiled proudly at Jungkook.

"Then we'll cover their bases. See what weapons they have and what the setup of their hideout is. Finally, we infiltrate."

"Mhm?" Leo smiled.

"We can't be obvious. We'll have to do it on a random day at a random time. They can't be prepared for anything."

They all agreed and then turned to Ronny who was typing and writing everything.

"Got that, Ronny?"

Ronny looked and pointed his pencil at Leo.

"I should be getting secretary pay."

Leo rolled his eyes, Jungkook grinned, and Yo-un laughed so hard he almost fell from his chair.

"Solid plan, boss. You too, Kook."

"Hey!" The beta snarled.

"You too, I guess kid."

This time Leo and Jungkook laughed.
