Long ago there was a race of humans who were taken in as family by the devil, he made each of them a mask like Cry axcept some had weird and scary designs. Alot of them died because of their insanity inside the masks, others committed suicide because there were scared other the Devils powers and didn't want to be part of it anymore. Very few existed last four century's ago, they all killed themselves. The girl who they thought was burned and drowned, her parents actually sent her away on a small boat in the river. The others thought she died so they let the madness stop by killing themselves. Little did they know an innocent human found the last ten masks and gave them to his son, his son put them in a box and gave them away to a grandmother. That was Cry's great great grandmother. She past it down to Cry know it's powers, because he was believed to be the last once of there kind. Little crystal was only a month old and a someone found her on a small wooden boat, sailing down a stream. The person took Crystal to an orphanage and the people there named her Sara. Sara/Crystal never was normal, she would talk to no one in particular, start randomly crying and screaming, she would often have nightmares. They thought it was just from a truma she had as a baby before she was placed on that boat. But it wasn't from a traumatic experience it was her being a "Chaos chain". The true name was lost along time ago but its the same as what Cry is. There both able to behold the mask but Sara was never given her mask at birth because the insanity was already inside her.
