Glass flew everywhere and I covered my head with my arms. When the dust cleared I looked around.

What the hell? My windows were destroyed and the furniture was upturned. I heard gunshots and immediately covered my head and ran for cover. Someone was shooting at me from another building. I felt a sharp pain in my stomach but ignored it. I dived behind my bed and reached for the gun Nathasha had given me. I waited until the bullets stopped coming then stood up and scanned the area. On the other side of the street, on top of a building stood a man dressed in black. He had dark hair that reached his shoulders and was wearing a mask. I could see he had a metal arm. He was reloading his machine gun. I aimed and shot at the person. He ducked for cover then returned fire. Steve's shield came out of nowhere and hit the guy. He glared in my direction then ran away. I slowly slid down, suddenly aware of something warm and sticky running down my stomach. I touched it and my hand came back bloody. I'd been shot. Steve's face appeared in front of me.

"Percy? Can you hear me? Are you oka-" he froze when he saw the blood. "Oh god. We need to get you some help right now." He called someone and Clint entered the room. He took in the mess in my room with big eyes.

"What happened?" He asked meekly.

"The Winter Soldier. He tried to kill Percy. Help me get him to the health bay." I was vaguely aware of being carried but I was slowly loosing consciousness. Then everything went dark.
