Maddie's POV

Mackenzie and I hugged. I picked her up and we walked over to where Chloe was standing when she called us. "Is it the trail?!" Kendall asked hopefully. "I dunno." Chloe replied. We all looked over at what Chloe pointed at. There was a boulder. A few, actually. Wait a sec, this looked familiar... "Chlo, where are we?" "I think you already know the answer to that question." She replied and I nodded. Kendall climbed up on the boulders. "Guys come up here." She called. Chloe climbed up. "I can't, I have to carry Kenzie." I said. "Here, we'll help you." Chloe replied. "Lift her up a little." Chloe laid down on her stomach and outstretched her arms. I lifted her up and Chloe grabbed an arm. "Here," I murmured, lifting Kenzie up higher. Chloe grabbed her other arm, then wrapped her arms around Kenzie's waist. "Ok I got her." Chloe said and carefully rose, holding Mackenzie. I climbed up onto the boulder with them. And what we saw was beyond anything we could've imagined.

It was basically the view off a cliff. The trees were orange and yellow, a few still green, since it was September. "We were here.....we were......we were......." Kendall trailed off. "No way. No way. No. No, no, no. This can't be it! It just can't be!" I exclaimed. "Oh, Maddie, yet it is. This is where we were when we first met the bear." Chloe realized. "And where we ended up after we took the wrong path." Kendall said. "And if we follow it the other way..." Kenzie began. "We could get back to the trail." I said. "And we'll get home." All of us finished at the same time. Then we all smiled. We were gonna get home.
