Nicole POV

Huh that's strange, I thought What the heck are they doing here, who are they? I was walking to class when I saw them.

I walked into the room to see my teacher Mr. Brunner grading yesterday's tests "Who are these people they don't look like students or teachers?"I asked him " Not right now" he said " Take a seat class. Time to get started" I headed towards my chair in the 2nd row. 

Mr. Brunner was a middle aged man in a wheelchair. He was our latin teacher I (personally) thought he was the best teacher ever but other people not so much. I have heard people make complain about him but I know he's cool.

"You guys must be wondering who these people are" he said. "No duh" said a kid near the back. (we all glared at him) " They are college scouts!" All of a sudden everyone was buzzing around the room talking to there friends in excitement. " Yes I am well aware that you guys are only freshman's but they are here for you!" he said excitedly "They are here for you to check out the summer programs. Those of you who have been doing good in my class and all of your other teachers you might be able to get in some of their summer programs. So far I can tell you that some of the girls here might expect to have plans this summer." He glanced at me and Mckenzie my best friend. Mckenzie was the same height as me (medium height) She had short dirty blonde hair with streaks in it. She always wore something war/ violent related. Keith my other best friend frowned. He wasn't the best student. He was tall with light brown hair. He wore normal boy clothes. "They are going to be coming in here in a few minutes" he continued. " Please clean up the room." 

A few minutes later the college scouts had come in the room. A bunch of groups of them had come in at least seven. They all were calling students names to take into the hall to have a discussion with them. "Ummm Nicole Tally, Mckenzie Robinson, and Keith Jones can we see you in the hallway please?" Said a black haired man in his late 30s he had sea green eyes. There was a woman around the same age as him who locked arms with him she had long blond hair and gray eyes. They were both wearing jeans, tennis shoes,  and orange shirts with faded words on them. I keep squinting but couldn't read it.

They took us into the hall "Hello girls and boy I am Percy Jackson this is my wife and partner Annabeth. We would like you 3 to attend our summer program" said the man. "Why me I am a horrible student" Keith said to Mr. Jackson "That is not what matters to us. But the thing about our camp is you have to leave school a month early" "What?!!" We screamed in unison "But you guys are actually being excused from the school  early since this is such an elite program to get into!" "YAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" we screamed. "Get your things we have to leave right now!"

We ran back to class gathered our things. Emptied our lockers and desks. We went to go say bye to Mr. Brunner but he said it won't be long before we see him again. We didn't understand but he told us to go. So we did.

We got in their car and they drove us to somewhere on the edge of long island. "We're here" said Annabeth who hadn't said a word to anyone but Mr. Jackson who was driving the whole time. We got out of the car and turned around, a giant black horse with wings came out of nowhere and kicked me in the forehead before I blacked out I saw Mckenzie hit by the horses wing and fall and Keith get hit by the other wing and fell too. Then everything went black...
