Brandon's pov

I was just looking at my angel. She looks tired stressed and scared. I went to have a quick shower and after changing I went to check up on her but she was saying something in her sleep so I went and held her hand but she snuggled closer to me. I started rubbing her back and head making her calm down. I don't want to hurt her or her to be afraid of me but I can't leave her alone so I laid next to inhaling her scent waiting for sleep to take over me.

Caroline pov.

I was feeling so warm and slept peacefully last night. I thought someone was holding me but when I woke up no one was around yet I did get Brandon's cologne smell which means he was here. Isabella came in taking me away from my thought.

Morning I see you awake. How are you feeling and did you sleep well? She asked

Morning. Yes, I did I said as I saw the nurse and maid coming in the room each carrying a tray.

Good morning mam. I have to change the bandages on your wounds the nurse said scaring me making me grab Bella's hands.

"Caroline. She won't hurt you. I'm here. Why don't you freshen up then we can clean it up.

Nodding my head I went to the bathroom and did what I had to do then went and sat on the bed next to Bella as the nurse was cleaning my wound and changing my bandages.

Thereafter Bella sat and had breakfast with me and made me take my medication which made me feel drowsy and I fell asleep.

1 week later.

I woke up with the sun shining bright in my room. I heard a knock with Bella walking in.

"Good morning how are you," she asked in a chirpy voice.

"I'm good and you?" I said

"I'm good. Do you think you can come down for breakfast today? You have been here for almost two weeks. She asked

"Sure let me just freshen up and I'll be down I said as I got out of bed.

When done I felt so nice and fresh as I had a bath on my own. I came out wrapped in my towel when I notice that my clothes were already laid on the bed.

It was dark blue jeans with a match under top and scarf. I also found cute brown boots with a matching top. I dressed up after long and as I looked in the mirror I felt different. A good difference. Wearing my silver with blue earrings I headed down to the breakfast table.

Everyone was there and the only place empty was next to Brandon. I was scared to sit next to him as he hates me.

"Come sit Caroline," Bella said calling me.

I went and sat hesitantly next to him. I just took half a slice of toast as I didn't feel like eating. As I was done I was about to leave when Scott made an announcement.

"Tonight there is a gala which Brandon and I have to attend. It starts at 7 pm and may run till after midnight. Mum, will you take care of the kids while we all will go? Caroline will be joining us he said.

"I looked at him shocked as I don't want to go. I want to be at home.

"Your clothes will be brought to you'll soon," he said.

He smiled at me and went away thereafter with Brandon.

Mum was talking to dad and Janat when I bumped Isabelle's elbow.

"Can we talk," I asked?

"Sure," she said.

We excused ourselves and went to my room.

"I don't want to go tonight, I said.

"Why?" she asked.

"I'm not in the mood and it's not for me. Who will want to be seen with a whore. Please, Bella. Tell Scott I don't want to go. Please," I pleaded.

"No you are coming and that is final. Your dress will be here soon and I will be helping you with your makeup. Now stop sulking. You need the outing.
