"Caroline!!!! Caroline wake up! 

I heard someone shout.

"Go away," I said.

"Wake up or you going to be late for school" the voice said.

"I opened my eyes and saw little Jane who is seven years old. She has a cute smile and is holding her teddy bear in her hand. She was brought in the orphanage two years ago. Her parents met in an accident and there was no one to take care of her. She is so sweet.

I was also an orphan. They said someone left me at the doorstep when I was born. How cold of them. Why would they do that to me? They should have rather got rid of me before I was born, but I can't complain. I'm living here for sixteen years and they never treated me badly. They always cared and loved me to bits, especially the owner John and his wife Helen.

There are about twenty of us in total. I did get along well with the kids but none really touched my heart.
I couldn't trust any or the ones that I did got adopted.

I'm almost done with school. Just one year and five months left and then I'm done.

I woke up, got ready, had one slice toast for breakfast and went to school.

I don't really talk much to anyone; I don’t trust easily.

I was walking to my locker when I saw the guy I love and the girls walking behind him. His so handsome, I don’t know when or how I fell in love with him but I did. I just wish things would be different with me. He comes from a rich background and I don't even know who my family is.

He caught me staring at him so I quickly turned my head, took my books from my locker and went to class.
Soon school was over and I was extremely tired. I just wanted to go in bed but I still had to go cook and help out and I have homework to complete .

I went, changed and went down to the kitchen to cook something but Aunty Helen was there.

"Hi Aunty Helen," I greeted going over and kissing her cheek. She is just like my mother. Loves us like her own children.

"Hi Caroline, how was school."

"Tiring. I'm loaded with homework and I'm tired and hungry," I said with a pout.

She smiled and gave me soup to eat.

"Take a break from cooking today. Have your lunch and then start your homework. I’ll make something for us ," said aunty Helen.

"Thank you," I said with big grin.

I had my lunch and went in my room to complete my homework. It took about four hours to finish up and I was really exhausted. I had a shower and went to bed falling off to sleep the moment my head hit the pillow. I never even bother having supper.
