Nico couldn't forget Percy's face. He had some broken teeth, his eyes, and his left cheek were both swollen, his head looked misshapen, and his lip was split. There was more, but he couldn't even bring himself to list them.He remembered it clearly, he had been walking in the woods, when Percy went up to him, with a smile on his face, he said hi, and had been about to say something else, but then a ruffle in a bush behind us, no in front of us, wait the left? No, it was coming from everywhere. They were being ambushed. Percy tensed, and grabbed out his pen. Which could turn in a wicked celestial bronze sword, Riptide. At that moment Nico suddenly felt something, he saw Tartarus, yes he knew what it looked like, and he wasn't planning on visiting again any time soon. He saw Kronos, he saved up a lot of his power, and opened the Doors Of Death and sent out every monster and titan he had ever fought. Including the Arai, they were the children of Nyx. They were the female spirits of Curses. o if they cut one, it's curse would be released on them. So basically they were facing an army. Again, but this time it was only the 2 of them. He suddenly felt Kronos's laugh in his mind, and it chilled him to the bone. 

            His throat was dry so all he could say was, "K- uh, K-Kronos!" He quickly regained himself and said, "Percy Run!" Confused, Percy looked back at him, and replied, "What do you mean? We gotta fight them, don't we?" Without waiting for him to reply, he charged into battle. "NO! Percy don't!" Nico quickly summoned a few dead soldiers. But, it wasn't enough. They battled all day, and the sun was beginning to rise, when he saw they hadn't even went through half of them. But, it was too much, the monsters must've been smarter that they looked, because, they all focused their power at Percy and blasted. And they sacrificed a few Arai, so their curses would fall on him too. Nico let out a strangled sob, "PERCY!"and he quickly rushed to his aid, and saw that he was still miraculously breathing. He hoisted him on his shoulder, although he was heavier that him, he had to try, he needed to get them to Camp, the monsters wouldn't be able to breach the barrier. Percy began haltingly mumbling,         

"Tell......(coughing) Tell....Annabeth, that.........I'm..I'm Sorry, and......a-and....that I... (more coughing) L-Love her." 

I screamed, " You can tell her yourself! You're gonna make it!!!"

They had almost reached Camp Half-Blood when the Minotaur appeared. Percy's first monster, and his last.......
