At the end of each chapter I had added assorted questions or info snippets that pertained to what was going on at the time as a way to engage my readers. As I'm sure those of you who've stuck with me have noticed, I'm not exactly the social type and horrible with keeping up with things (Which, let me tell you, combined with be a writer makes a horrible mix T_T).

While I won't share every single one, as I'm sure that'll just be confusing, I would like to share those that're relevant. Those that were more informative than socializing. I'll list the (old) chapter they were on to keep things in some kind of order, so it isn't just a mishmash tossed in a line.

After this, I'll be releasing the intermissions like I did with Book 1. There won't be as many since I didn't post the whole book.

~^*^~^*^~^*^~

 Chapter 9:
One thing I plan on doing in the future is getting all the paintings that Kie does in the books - actually commissioned. I visualize and describe them, can picture them so clearly, but I would actually love to see them in living color. Even the sketches that she doesn't get onto canvas and inked, I'd love to see those too as they're just as important to her. What about you guys, would you be interested in seeing them?
 - I haven't done this yet, but still plan on it. I had the cover image commissioned, as well as Kie and Faline. I like how the girls came out, but not so much the cover, so I had redid it myself and use it to this day - even have the image copyrighted, so I OWN the image rights :}

The other art can be found on the website or the Instagram ^-^

Chapter 10:
Kie seems to be developing some serious ADD - Yes, it is intentional - I've been told that scenes like that are ones I could take out to make the story shorter. While I'm sure that is true, it would take away much of getting a sense of her personality I think, and how she thinks/comes around to things. How she works stuff out.
Kierra doesn't react to things like a normal person would, she didn't even before becoming a Werewolf, so walking in her mind with her gives a better sense of how/why she's like she is. That make sense?

Chapter 12:

In the part where it was brought up that Loners were come across with nothing but a pouch with condoms, you may be wondering why creatures who can't get sick or catch any diseases would have such a thing. Well, not all women/men will accept a partner if he isn't 'sheathed'. Not all supernatural males are raging dicks, that just appears to be the general consensus right now from Kie's point of view. Doesn't help that the vast majority of the bad guys tend to be be of the male persuasion. That doesn't mean however, that fems can't be the bad guys, it's just not as common to see (Not yet)

Chapter 13:
Would you say Kierra's new manifesting ability with ice fits her?

It's not just her being the Silver that gives her abilities like this, by the way. Each and every supernatural once born, Changed, or Converted develop some kind of ability or abilities over time. Some start displaying some kind of 'gift' shortly after where others take years to manifest. Some grow stronger where others stay 'static'.

If you remember Nicolaus, Faline's Sire, he has a minor ability over fire. He couldn't conjure it, but he could play with flames that were already burning.
Asher; has precognition and sees things in his dreams.
Ava; (all Shifters have this ability) can sniff out lies.

More abilities will come to light as you read deeper into the book, so stick around :D

Chapter 15:
In this world, when one is Converted to a Vampire, their eyes change completely. When Changed to a Were-Animal, eye color may alter in actual color a little bit, but more often than not, it's more the hue that changes. This is due to the reflective lens that forms in the eye just as their natural animal counterpart would have; they have it in all forms.
You know how you can look at a cat or dog at night or certain angles and their eyes seem to glow? That. It allows the eye to capture more light in the dark so they can see better :}

Chapter 16:
Kierra was never afraid when she shifted for the first time. Where others would have been terrified or freaking out, she knew what she had become and was reveling in it.

Werewolves; when first shifting do go through a period of rage and bloodlust where they have an urge to kill something...or someone. Since Kie was in a position to take her rage out on the very people who were causing her emotional grief, there was no guilt or self recrimination. This also means Bastion was very lucky she hadn't found him first, as there really is no telling if she could have controlled herself

To that end, do you think she could have? If her eyes had landed on Bastion during her state of rage, do you think she could have controlled her need to spill blood?

Chapter 18:
Just as a reminder, the forms that one dies in in this world is the form they stay in, there is no reverting back to a base form. That's what makes the need for clean-up crews so vital and why Alphas and group Leaders are so on top of things - Secrecy. Exposure is a very real fear for many and the reason why a majority hide away. There are some ways of being 'seen in the open' that are available to some, but not all, so they have to hide.
This will become more clear as you read on, so stick around to find out :D

Chapter 25:
Were-animal Tip: Werewolves, more than any other Were-animal species, are always up for a fight. It's wired into their genetic makeup to be battle ready and eager for bloodshed.
Thousands of years ago, they were quick to anger, prone to random bouts of violence to prove themselves stronger than their opponent, and could go into states much like that of a berserker in battle. During these time periods, females were destructive forces of their own, but did tend to be the more level headed. Powerful female mates were quite a boon as it meant a Pack was healthy, strong, powerful, and hopefully, fertile.

Chapter 27:
So, WereRats. Can't very well have Were-animals and not have the rats. Working these guys out was real fun, lemme tell you x.x
Trying to keep something on the 'realistic' spectrum of fantasy is a very fine line, you go too far one way or the other and it just doesn't work in my head, so I reworked them several times till I came out with something that worked plausibly in my mind and in my world :}

Chapter 30:
If you do some research into wolves, you'll find that Alphas do not fight for said position or dominate through displays of 'power' (strength). That position is had by the parents of a pack, as one is usually made up of family members, or children, of the Alpha pair. It would be their children, their children's children, and if they're lucky to live that long, their grandchildren's children.
For Werewolves, it's obviously a bit different. Some stories have it one way, others a bit different, that's all well and good, but that's not how it is here. Have it be known Kierra is a special case because of what she is (a bit 'cliché' there, I know), but she is not a typical Alpha. The others treat her as such, but it's more because she is the Silver Wolf and has taken them in.
I don't want to go too much into what Alphas are here, as it will be explained when the time comes :}

Chapter 32:

Xavier admits to his being 'owned' by Kie and seems completely content with it, but would you be?
When she bit him, he didn't ask for it
When she called his animal, he didn't ask for it
But he is totally at ease with her having done both. Could you put that much trust in someone else? I know I couldn't.

Chapter 34:
You don't see it in this book, (you do in Book 3) but there usually is more to a meeting between two Alphas. This was more a casual greeting that gets extended. Things are also a bit wonky because of who Kie is, and even moreso because she doesn't know the 'rules'. Since she wasn't taken in to a Pack upon her Change, she wasn't filled in on things she needed to know; passed down knowledges and teachings. She does things her own way (which is what many have such a problem with).
Because Kie extended the invitation doesn't mean much, but because of who/what she is, even with as young as she is, Alarico knows that it's her power that others would bow under. (Maybe not what it is now, but what it could be - so he sticks close to be part of it) Being close to the Silver is a boon no one can deny

Chapter 35:
Yes, what Kierra did right there should have created tension between her and Alarico; with her getting in Lucia's face like that. His doing nothing did not make him weak either, he knew his wife was in the wrong and trying to stick up for her would have made things worse.

There are two types of Alpha matches;
a Power match, where a couple mates because both bring to the table influence, name, money, magical ability, are formidable fighters, or just overall powerful people - and
a Love match, where a couple mates because they love each other

Alarico and Lucia are a Love match

Lucia is Alpha because she is mated to one, not because she is 'suited' to the position. By all rights, if Kie were a regular Alpha, what she did in Book 1 would be cause for war between the Packs(the knife in Lucia's face) - But going by that same logic, by all rights, Kie could call for the woman's head for her having struck her, and with Kie being who she is, being above reproach like she's 'supposed' to be, she couldn't be denied.
Alarico knows this. So do many other wolves. Lucia herself seems oblivious however, she should probably get caught up on this fact.

Even so, do you think it's one Kie would use against her? Should she?

Chapter 37:
What's the point of being a writer if you can't make up some dream houses while you're at it? Considering I've seen layouts like this, it isn't as farfetched as you think. What themed rooms would your dream house have?

This line; "What's the point in being a monster if you can't find enjoyment in the power it gives you?" It can be taken in such a wrong way/direction, I'm aware, but for this particular case, it really stuck with me. Kie is stuck being what she is, not like she can change that, so why not have fun with it?
Many stories have the MC cowering and afraid of what they've become, or don't have much to do with what they are. You are or have become something new and exciting, why not play with it? Enjoy it? You've now become something that many others will never be able to experience, the freedom it allows you, the power it gives you. Yeah, sure, it comes with an ass-load of responsibility, but what doesn't?
In weighing the things you have to give up to those you know you'll gain, would you knowingly join this world of mine?

Chapter 41:
Now, if you think about it, what if the Dire Animals of old were actually Were-animals like those in my stories?

Were-animals are larger than their natural animal counterparts in length, height, and weight. Shifters are closer to them in size, but do tend to be a bit larger as well. Vampires have a much wider range, able to be larger or smaller.
This is thought to be because their undead bodies no longer need to expand in which to function; no longer having use of most of their organs

Chapter 44:
All of the Red Wolfies.

As for the Alpha Draw; all Alphas have it, Alarico just keeps his low-key as he runs his Pack differently than Gabriel does. They're also two very different people with very different personalities. There is such a thing as one Alpha being stronger than another, but that does not come into play here as it is not needed. Each one runs their territories differently as needed in accordance to how much land they have and how big their Packs are. Alarico appears to keep his people confined to his bar, but he in fact owns a good portion of Downtown Rockford and it's his wolves that aid in patrolling that territory.

This is what I mean about having fun with it, by the way(recall from earlier chapter on being a monster). Shapeshifting. Having your own mind but the body and strength of something else. The instincts in the back of your mind, muscle memory, an understanding of things that you don't when on two legs.
This is the kind of stuff you don't usually get to read about and experience. I wish I could pack in more detail to really paint the picture, but then my books really would be forever long, lol

Chapter 53:  Size ratios for Were-animals depend on breed, but will always be 2-3 times larger than their natural animal counterparts. Rats are augmented even more, reaching sizes near 5-6 times their 'natural' sizes. Those of ancient 'Dire' bloodlines are even larger and cannot be mistaken as natural by any means.

While in their 'Were' forms, the average canine and feline height is 7-8 feet, with larger breeds exceeding that to accommodate their stature. Maned wolves and Cheetahs from their limb length, Tigers, Lions and Bears from their more bulky muscular builds. Rats and Foxes are slightly smaller.

Females are slightly smaller than males and can easily be told apart from their frontal physical features. While animalistic, their bodies are a combination of both animal and humanoid; a design made for what they were originally made for. Female chests are small, rounded, and fur covered. Only the top pair of breasts are developed; like that of a human woman, while the rest of the teats remain small and hidden under fur. The groin is also a combination of human female and the animal they carry; allowing for mating in either position. Skin itself is bare, but while upright there is a longer patch of fur that aids in genital covering; no matter the species' usual fur length.

Males have thickly muscled pectorals as an added defense/armor to their chests, making them look heavily defined no matter the species. Penises are in sheaths with testicles just below/behind. They also have a longer fur patch that aids in obscuring, but it isn't always effective. Just as with their animal counterparts, any penile additions they have, they have in this form as well. Most commonly known being the knot on canines and barbs on felines.

Muscle mass on males is more developed than on females in most cases. Bodies are covered in fur, thickness and density changing from species to species. 'Were' form has them upright and 'digi-legged' - Their back legs shaped like that of an animal standing on its hind legs. This allows for running on two legs or four. In full animal form they are stronger and faster than any normal animal, and while in 'Were' form they are stronger and faster still. Those bred for speed being the fastest known creatures alive in the world today.

Hands are humanoid; larger, longer, covered in fur with thick paw pads on their palms, and fingers are tipped with long sharp claws. Back feet are more animalistic, just larger, toes slightly longer to allow for more grip, thick pads, and sharp claws. Dew claws are quite common to find. Range of movement is near the same as if they were regular human limbs, just more fluid.

While in 'Were' form faces can be quite expressive, they just don't move the same way a human's does. Ear movement/placement, lip curls/lifts/smiles, and eyes are what is read. There is no eyebrow ridge like there is on a human. There is slight movement from the musculature there, but it's not the same as a human's eyebrow expressions.

Chapter 55:
Were-animals are stronger than Vampires. Even a young 'Were' can take on an average Vampire and come out on top. The older the undead the higher the difficulty, not to mention various abilities one may have to assist them. An older 'Were' who's been around for a few decades or longer can take on more than one with little to no problem, and those of Alpha status can go up against a few much older Vamps with no trouble. It also goes on Race, as Wolves, Bears, and Lions will have a much easier time than Foxes, Maned Wolves, and Rats.

Chapter 77:  The healing abilities of each Race is a bit different and are as follows:

Vampires heal perfectly any injury, even regenerate limbs; consciously choosing to push items out of their body - which is why piercings stay unless shifting. Tattoos stay

Werewolves heal quickly but not the perfect 'seamless' healing of Vamps. Regrowing limbs is possible depending on injury/severity of it, but it takes a while/goes by magic scale in their blood(an older/more powerful Were is going to heal faster than a younger or one with less magical blood). Even deadly wounds can heal but will leave bad scars. Will fade over time. Piercings/foreign objects are pushed out of the body over time, shifting has them falling out completely depending on depth of object.

Shifters heal quickly but not as fast as Weres and nowhere near as quickly as Vamps (Who heal faster with the more blood they intake). Weres broken bones will reset on a shift, Vamps just have to put theirs back into place, and a Shifters will heal as is, needing to be rebroken and reset for it to heal properly. Their shifting can either help or hinder healing process depending on type of break/where its at.

Changelings heal closer to that of Vampires; healing near perfectly once they shift. The magic in their blood tends to be high which makes them coveted, other than their sex appeal & the fact their being so rare to find

And that's all I had. I probably would have had more, but I think I got sidetracked on other projects and didn't get them written up. These and others can be found on the sister site to Lunar Ravings - once I finally get it up, that is
