Priya walked the unfamiliar woods for what felt like hours. She had no idea what direction her school was in. Madder of fact, she had no idea what direction anything was in. She kept on walking until the sun become dull, and her legs couldn't take much more. She found a large tree and sat under it. She took out her phone for the thousandth time and tried to get a single. But it wasn't working, nothing was working. It was if her phone just broke. She played around with it for a while but eventually gave up. She laid down under the large tree and looked at the stars that were twinkling in the sky. Out of everything that she saw in theses wood they were the only thing that seemed familiar. She stared at the stars until her eyelids become too heavy, and she fell asleep.

"Who are you!"

Priya woke up to a young man standing besides her. He was tall, Priya might have thought mid twenties but his voice was too high, and shaky. He was wearing ripped black pants that almost covered all of his tan old hiking boots. His shirt was dirty and it come down to his fingertips. His face was covered in a tan strip of cloth covering everything but a small portion of his eyes.

"I said who are you." He said in a stern, but at the same time, gentle way.

Priya looked around. She realized that the past day was not a dream. She looked at the young man who was standing beside her, blade pointed at her chest. She wanted to scream, run, anything. She just wanted to get away. But she didn't. She just cried. She pressed her dirty hands to her eyes and cried until her tears we're dripping off her hands. She couldn't stop thinking of what just happened. Of how she missed her bus, broke her perfect attendance record, how she spent a night in the woods, how worried her family must be. And most importantly the fact that a old rusty blade was pointed directly at her. She new that this was it. He was going to kill her. She would die and no one would ever know what happened to her.

"Why, why are you crying?" The young man asked as he lowered his blade. His voice trembling.

"Just do it." Priya demand "get it over with!" She said still crying.

The young man looked at her puzzled. He tried to make out what to do with this scared young girl who was crying under a tree, wearing a cheerleader's uniform. "Your not a Dominus are you?" he asked while he put his blade away.

Priya looked at him, tears running down her cheeks. "A what?" She asked more scared and confused as ever.

Without a real answer he knew she wasn't a threat. The young man laughed under his breath as he unwrapped the cloth that covered his face. Priya looked as his gorgeous green eyes, messy black hair, and pale lips that were were uncovered all the way. He smiled, his teeth white and perfect. " Hi," he said in a friendly relaxed voice. " I'm Arden."
