"No way..." I stood in there wide mouthed. "I-it just can't be you!"

"Well, who were you expecting?" My best, and very first friend stood there smiling. "I'm glad you didn't forget me!" My friend, known as Rin Shiro, exclaimed as she ran up to me, giving me a bone - crushing hug. "Oh, Kuro, I talked to your parents earlier." Tension filled the air. "What did they say?" She cleared her throat. "They said that you can stay at my house, forever." I sighed. "Did they say anything else?" Rin thought for a second. "Oh yeah! They said-" She looked at her wristwatch. "That your mom will be here any minute now!" The room went silent for a minute, until the sound of a door broke it. I turned around to see who was there. 'Speak of the devil' I thought, as I grabbed my backpack, and walked towards her. I quickly glared at her, as she glared back. "You're kicking me out, aren't you?" My mom grunted,"how'd you find out? I want to surprise you... Anyways, I'm here to pick you up, so you can get your crap out of my house." I mumbled something under my breath as I walked out the door to leave the school.

-Timeskip-

I tossed the last thing into a bix, and closed ot with packing tape. I sighed, throwing my arms onto the edge of my sheet less bed. 'The only thing I will ever miss is this room. I had so many fond memories hiding out back in here.' I thought, standing up and picking up my two boxes to bring them out to the car. I didn't even get any help with carrying them! I gently set them in the trunk of my mom's mini van. I jumped into the back of the car, and buckled up, and my mom started to drive. I pulled out my phone from my pocket and pressed play. "

And today
This homework
About me
A blank sheet
Accomplished
Content with
This life I will now live
'Til I think why are we
just sometimes no always
Saying how we're sad and
Saying how we're lonely?

Can you even read the blackboard written clear as can be?
Can you even read his mind? See that kid's lost fantasy?
Can you even find the one who dyed his red heart to black?
Hey, who could it be?
Hey, someone tell me!

Can you even solve the question with your abacus yet?
Can you even stop the rope from hanging him by his neck?
Did we really choose it right saying we're okay this way?
Hey, just tell me how
It's not like I care now

Counting days like numbers, they all pass their prime
And again hypnotically swimming through time
Behind the power and guards I put up
I hide
Knowing they had long died

From problems
My resolve
Just can't solve
That homework

This life I will now live
'Til I think and he speaks
That demon inside us
Saying "let me just leave"
Saying "someone kill me!"

Can you even read the blackboard written clear as can be?
Can you even read his mind? See that kid's lost fantasy?
Can you even find the one who dyed his red heart to black?

Did we really choose it right saying we're okay this way?

Hey just tell me how
Hey just tell me how!

Can you even say the formula of area now?
Can you even scream the dreams you swore would never go out?
Who was the one who let my hopes just curl up die?
Hey, who could it be?
No, it's gotta be...
Just open up your eyes, why don't you grow up and see?
But what the hell is "growing up" and tell me when will I be?
Can a single person out there just explain it to me?
Hey, just tell me how
It's not like I care now!

I looked up from my phone to see that we had arrived at Rin's House - Mansion. I somehow managed to carry both extremely heavy boxes up to the door, and be able to ring the doorbell. I heard the door open, but I couldn't see who was there. All of a sudden, I felt the box at the top be removed. Rin was carrying the other box. "C'mon! Let's go to your room!" I nodded, and quickly turned my head to see my mom already driving away, without another word. We raced up two flights of stairs, (spelling?) and arrived at this massive bedroom. My jaw probably hit the ground and broke. "T-this is like three times the size of a normal master bedroom! Rin broke out into complete laughter. "R-really? This is just a spare guest bedroom! If you think this room is huge, them you NEED to see my parents'!" We set the boxes down on the bed as I started to unpack. It took me some time to convince Rin that I didn't need any help unpacking. I ripped the tape off both of the boxes, and started unpacking. At the bottom of the second box, I came across my spare school uniform, which reminded me that I still have to deal with my greatest worry as of right now. Selene.

A/N: Okay, that was A LOT longer than an hour, but wattpad was giving me issues, so it took awhile. Sorry about that! Anyways, I will (try to) work on the next chapter at any spare moment I get.
