Vineet was nervous, he was pacing to and fro in the corridor of the hospital. His heart beats like drums as if it will jump out of his chest. He doesn't know what's the matter with Anamika. The lady falls unconscious while serving him breakfast, he tries to wake her but fails. Not getting any other option he rushed to hospital.

It's been 30 minutes now and the doctor is not ready to come out and tell him the matter.

He bangs his hand on the wall out of anger, a nurse who was passing by scolded him for his behavior and told him to wait patiently until his wife is being attended to.

Just at the moment, the doctor came and asked him to follow her inside, Vineet nodded and did what he was asked.

He finds Anamika sitting on a chair, she's conscious but looks nervous. Vineet takes his seat and holds her hand, asking her about the matter who shook her head negatively telling him she too doesn't know anything. 

Vineet shifted his gaze to the doctor.

''Doctor, what's the matter?" He questions in concern.

The doctor smiles at his concern for his wife. It's genuine to be scared when one's wife suddenly faints.

''Don't worry Mr. Singhania, your wife is absolutely fine.  She just needs to take a rest and take good care of herself.  She seemed to be stressed out and disturb, it affects their health also you guys came late for the check up. You should have come a few weeks earlier par koi baat nahi we can still manage.'' The doctor explained them but Vineet couldn't understand what she was trying to say.

''Doctor mujhe kuch samajh nahi aa raha!! Kya hua hai Ana ko? Aap aise kyun bol rahi hai humei pehle aana chahiye tha?" Vineet enquired,doctor's word has created some doubts and fear in his heart.

Doctor smiles lightly, ''Mr. Shinghania, your wife is pregnant,  you are going to be a father! Congratulations! She's two months pregnant,  isiliye I said thoda jaldi aana chahiye tha par ghabrane ki koi baat nahi, aapka baby healthy hai!!" The doctor exclaims, Vineet was tongue tied and in a state of shock. He couldn't proceed or say even a single word while Anamika's happiness seemed no bound.  She was thrilled with the news.

She gazes at Vineet who seems to be completely shocked, Anamika nudged him. He looks up only to find an overexcited Anamika smiling to him ear to ear. He just blink his eyes and she knows he's again in dilemma, the same way he was when they got to know about Avantika's pregnancy. She didn't question him anything. 

They thanked the doctor, who congratulated them again and gave the prescription. Anamika holds it and they take their leave. On their way to exit, they visited the medical store and bought the medicines. Vineet was silent all the way till they reached home.  Even when they enter the house, he directly heads to their room not even glancing at her once. Anamika followed him, she needs to know his feeling at the moment, his emotions for their child,  she wants to know them.

Anamika enters their room, she finds him standing near the window, his hands resting on it. She headed towards him and hugged him from beyond, resting her head on his shoulder.

''Jaan!! I'm so excited and happy with the news. Main express nahi kar sakti kitni khush hoon main!! We are going to be parents, woww!! I mean, socho kitna maza aayega jab hum teeno kahin bahar jaayenge ya jab wo iss duniya mei aayega ya aayegi aur hum usse godd mei lenge tab kaisi khushi hogi wo!!'' Anamika expresses her happiness.

''Tum khush ho?" He questions in a calm tone, still staring outside from the window to nothingness.

''Of Course jaan!! Kaun khush nahi hoga? Jab sab ko pata chalega toh sab kitne khush honge!!" She stayed, her tone shows her excitement and eagerness to disclose the news to her family.

Vineet turns to face her, his expression says he's in deep thought. Anamika cups his face with one hand and rests her other hand on his shoulder.

''Kya hua Vineet, kis soch mei doobe ho?" She questions him, finding him disturb.

Vineet stares at her but doesn't utter a word because he himself isn't sure about what he's calculating. He doesn't want to rush things and disappoint her at the moment, he needs some space, some alone time to think about the matter.

''Nahi!! Kuch nahi!! Main bas kuch soch raha tha, office ka!! Khair, tum rest karo main office jata hoon. Ek meeting hai wo karke wapas aa jaungi fir baat karenge, okay!?" He says balancing his expression and words as he doesn't want to say anything that would make her suspicious at the moment. Anamika shook her head in affirmation and pecked his lips, he smiled lightly and reciprocated in the same manner.

Soon after a moment he takes his leave.

Anamika takes her seat in the balcony, the wind kissing her cheek making her smile wider. The thought of becoming a mother has made her knit so many fantasies just in a few minutes.

The minute they left the hospital and took the route to their house, she was already dreaming of her child. Every toy store that passed by created chills in her body, she felt goosebumps and desire to buy them all for her baby and she would surely do that once her child is in her arms. She would love them unconditionally, maybe more than Vineet.

Vineet would surely complain about it and throw tantrums when she would give more importance to their child but it's okay, he needs to learn a few things.

She feels butterflies in her stomach when she thinks of her baby,  she places her hand on her belly to feel the unborn and laugh at herself, how can she feel the child who's not even fully. Though not formed, it surely holds her heart and she would never let anyone to snatched her happiness from her.

Vineet reaches his office feeling a little guilty to lie to her again. But what can he do, he needed some time to think, to evaluate the situation and for that he wanted some peace of mind.

He enters his cabin and takes his seat. He doesn't know how to react to the news they just got a few moments ago.

It's not like he's sad about it but he isn't happy either. He feel the child would bring only problem and distraction to them, especially to Anamika who have to fly to London for the course in the next 4 months, she can't go with a big belly announcing her pregnancy to the world as it wouldn't look nice plus, his mother would never let her go in such condition that too for 2 years just for a course. They would be more concentrated on the child than her career and he can't let it happen.

He has done so much hardship to get her admitted into the firm, it's his dream to see her own a business run an empire, he can't ruin his dream and her future because of a child. But at the moment his concern is how she would react if he confessed his feelings to her.

Will she accept it easily?
Or another hardship awaits them?

He doesn't know but he surely needs to do something before it's too late.
