The air seemed slightly more bitter, the sky slightly more darker as she walked along the lonely road. Her heart was heavy, burdened with her loss of the man she loved, still loved and would always love.

She paused in the middle of the empty road and fell to her knees, her hands gripped her knees painfully, she bowed her head in pure agony and sobbed again, her breathing rapid as she thought of everything she had been through with Yash, her Yash. The sound of a car horn made her stand up shakily, she put her hand up as a way of apologising and continued to walk on the side of the road

She stopped as she noted Aditya, Pooja's husband, he was faced away, shoulders shaking, possibly crying from his loss. She walked forward, he needed support just as she did and who better to understand his plight than her.
She placed a hand on his shoulder "Are you okay"
He turned around, his eyes as red as the sindoor still on her forehead

The look in his eyes slightly deranged as he laughed again
"Why are you laughing" asked Zoya worriedly
"Why arent you"? he rebuffed, gripping her arms in a tight hold
"They cheated us, did you see them holding hands like this" he grabbed her hand, linking his fingers through hers and squeezing to the point she let out a strangled yelp
She shoved him back, holding her sore right hand

"They didnt cheat us, I know my Yash"
He slapped his head "You truly are blind, I know love makes us blind, but wake up, smell the coffee, actually its fine, you live in your close minded world"
He went to walk away, but she stretched out her hand grabbing his wrist "You claim to love your wife, yet you lost trust so quickly"
He laughed menacingly "Okay, so you tell me what other reason were they holding hands, laying together"

Zoya pursed her lips "Maybe he was comforting her because she was scared"
Aditya's phone buzzed loudly with a news notification
'Another duo found dead, the cheater killer'???
Aditya turned his phone around, showing it to her
"Look at this, another cheating couple murdered, what does that show you"

"You dont know that those couples cheated, my Yash"
"My Yash, my Yash" he mimicked interrupting her "You're a fool, a fool, you know the truth, admit it"
"I will prove my husband never cheated" she challenged, not one to back down he smirked "And I will prove he did"
With that they both turned and walked away, two broken hearts brought together by a murder
