Bella POV

We must have ran at least a km before we came to a stop. We were all breathing hard. I could feel the ardeline leave my body and a wave of tiredness washed over me. "That was scary! Who did that?" Bernice practically screamed. I saw Tao looking at me with curious eyes before answering Bernice. "It doesn't matter anyways. I've seen that man before. Let's just say he's well known btw the cops. We're just lucky that person saved us. Or we would've been in real danger." I just nodded. But I felt uneasy. I could literally feel Bernice and Tao curious eyes on me. Something was definitely not in place. I definitely killed that guy and made it look like I didn't. Yet somehow I feel like I've left something to do. I tried recalling every detail I could think of. Where they were looking. Who spotted the man. But I couldn't find anything. My mind was a mess. "..Ella! Bella! You've been dazing off the whole day. Are u ok? Anyways we need to go home let's go!" Bernice said. I just nodded and started beading in the direction of my home. As I was going, I also realized that Tao and Bernice were still following me? "Guys I can go home on my own..." I said. "We aren't following u silly. We just live right across that hill" Tao said pointing in the direction I needed to go. "No way! I live there too!" Me and Bernice say excited.

Normal POV

'Shoot! I have to sneak off at night! I can't let them see me'
Unknown to the others, all three of them had the same thought running through their heads. What are they really and what will happen?
