With time passing at UA, the soulmate pairs who had found their other halves have grown closer and were almost inseparable. Kaminari and Jirou had even reached the pet name phase while others still searched. The USJ attack was a shock for the students and even more for Ochako as her other half had been the closest to meeting his end, at the hands of a flesh golem referred to as a Nomu and to the villain leader Tomura Shigaraki. For days Ochako refused Izuku to do anything by himself, she carried him like a little girl carrying a doll. Eventually she relented and allowed him to do things for himself but when she felt the need for his affection and touch she was glued to his side like an overly affectionate cat. This even earned her the nickname of Neko-Mochi from Izuku himself with the occasional tug at her chubby cheeks but it was always in an affectionate manner.

"Mochi come on, I know you hate mornings but we're going to be late for the sports festival if you don't get up!" Izuku says having been trapped by Ochako who in her sleep, has wrapped her arms and legs around Izuku's body, is not letting him get up.

"No, Borukkori. You're gonna sleep here all day." She responds burying her face into his curly hair.

"I'm Deku-kun, Ochako. Not Broccoli." Izuku replies as he feels her grip on him tighten a bit and her groan in annoyance.

"Up and at 'em you two, we have a big day today." Iida says opening the door and seeing the predicament Izuku is in.

"Can you get either a mochi bun or a crowbar please?"

"Crowbar it is." Bakugou replies walking past with Toga draped over his shoulder wearing his skull shirt still out cold.

"Borukkori?" Ochako asks.

"I'm not responding to that Ochako." Izuku responds in an annoyed tone.

"Borukkori." She says again.

"Nope." Izuku says turning away from her.

"Fine you win. Deku-kun." She says causing him to turn to face her.

"There you go, now come on or Kacchan is going to get the crowbar and that is uncomfortable for the both of us." Izuku says with her burying her face into his shoulder.

"Carry me."

"Only if you get up." Izuku responds.

Ochako finally relents and lets Izuku go, he stretches his arms before pulling the blanket off of them and picking up Ochako who's dressed in a custom Deku themed pajama set. She pouts slightly at having to get out of the comfy bed or I think I should say Deku because most nights she has slept top of him and does not actually use the bed.

 Izuku carries her to the elevator like a knight holding a princess and presses the button to the bottom floor. Once getting to the common room he sets her on one of the 5 love seats in the common space before joining Sato and Kacchan in the kitchen to help prepare breakfast. Preparing breakfast for everyone in the dorms didn't take all that much time if it was all one dish but with 21 people asking for a unique breakfast item it could be a bit of a hassle. Luckily Shoji offered to help as well and with 4 of them in the kitchen all the breakfasts were ready in under a half an hour. Shouto's was the easiest to make with it just being the Soba he had in the fridge unceremoniously thrown over to him by Bakugou.

After breakfast they break off to their rooms to shower and get ready for the sports festival. The soulmate pairs bathed together, excluding Izuku and Ochako who were far too blushy to even think of that. They got dressed in their gym uniforms and fixed their hair ready for the festival today. Before they left there was a stated rule that if they made it to the final round they would not go full force on each other if they were matched up against a member of the other soulmate pairs. Momo even drafted a written contract and if breached by causing needless harm to the known soulmate they're against they would be forced to clean the dorms in a french maid's outfit for the rest of the semester. Bakugou was slightly apprehensive about signing it but the mental image of Toga in a maid's outfit was all the incentive he needed, though some highly... suggestive words of encouragement from Himiko herself did help.

The intro to the sports festival went as well as can be expected... with Bakugou making a total ass of himself and putting an 'Aim here' sign on everyone in class 1-A. The obstacle course saw the soulmate pairs aid each other in winning the event with Izuku and Ochako having their own mini race using OFA and Zero Gravity to in a sense fly through the course. Iida had noticed a certain pink haired woman with well defined calf muscles actually beat him in speed using a support item she created in the obstacle course. The second round had this woman who introduced herself as Hatsume Mei paired with Izuku, Tokoyami and Ochako in the cavalry battle. Once again they won in this stage with Tokoyami using his tongue and darkshadow to deflect any incoming hands aiming for their headbands. Finally this brings us to the final round the 1 v 1 tournament.

"ALRIGHT FOLKS! TIME FOR THE FIRST ROUND OF OUR THIRD EVENT!" Mic began to shout with Aizawa hitting his head on the desk hearing him shout. "IN ONE CORNER, WE HAVE CLASS 1-A'S IZUKU MIDORIYA! AND ON THE OTHER, WE HAVE HIS LITTLE STRONG SOULMATE OCHAKO URARAKA ALSO FROM CLASS 1-A!"

The crowd began to cheer with Ochako getting in a fighting stance. "You ready to throw down Deku-kun?"

At this moment, Izuku realized something important that he seemed to not acknowledge until this moment. 'I can't fight my Mochi!'

"I won't lose to you Deku-kun!" Ochako shouts as they ready themselves for the match.

"I can't hurt Ochako! The only way I can beat her is floating her out of the ring." "BEGIN!"

The second Mic announced them to start, Ochako ran at Izuku with her hands out trying to tag him.

"Bwahaha! Here I come Deku-kun!" Ochako says with a close eyed smile giggling like a little kid as she runs with her arms out in front of her. Izuku instantly turns tail and runs away from her in the opposite direction.

"Eeeeeehhh!!!" Izuku involuntarily screams with Ochako chasing him.

"Wait I'm just gonna tap you Deku-kun." She exclaims as the two start running around the arena.

As the two chase each other around the arena some of the audience members laugh at their antics but others were wanting an actual fight. Bakugou and Kaminari are watching the fight with an annoyed and bored look on their faces respectively. "The hell are they doing? They playing tag or something?" Bakugou asks with a pinched vein on the side of his forehead. "No their fight has started, in all honesty you should have expected this." Kaminari replies. "You have a point, figures Deku and his girlfriend wouldn't actually fight each other. It's like some fairy tale perfect romance. OI DEKU!!! QUIT SCREWING AROUND AND FIGHT HER!" Bakugou shouts before being smacked by a paper fan held by Toga.

"Alright Ochako, I'm gonna get you now!" Izuku says stopping in his tracks and sprinting back towards her. Ochako lets out a shriek not expecting Izuku to turn and chase her and ends up falling on her butt trying to stop her forward movement. Before she can get up Izuku catches her and uses his Zero Gravity on her causing her to float. "Hehehehe, Izuku! You got me!" She says laughing at the hilarity of the situation. "Yes I... I... Aaaaaaaaacccchhhoooo!!!" Izuku sneezes mid sentence. Due to the fact that he channeled a small amount of OFA when he turned around and started chasing her his sneeze was far stronger than a normal sneeze would have been. It wasn't much but the air force behind it was enough to push a weightless Ochako out of the ring. "Ewww! That was gross Deku-kun!" Ochako exclaims. "AND THE WINNER IS IZUKUUUU MIDORIYAAAAA!!!" Present Mic shouts with Izuku walking towards Ochako.

"I'm so sorry Ochako." Izuku says rushing over to her to see if she's Okay. After releasing the quirk and getting to the edge of the ring Izuku trips over the steps out of the arena. Ochako looks up to see her boyfriend falling and tries to catch him. This ends up with them both landing on the ground with a thud. When the dust settles Izuku is on top of Ochako with their lips touching each other in an accidental kiss. Their eyes were wide open when it happened and when their lips met the entire world around them lit up in colors they didn't think were possible. "Midoriya? Uraraka? You have to return to the stands now." Midnight says to the embarrassed couple. They get up hand in hands scampering away to their spots with cheers from their classmates and audience for the accidental kiss.

The next few fights were interesting to watch, Bakugou was defeated by Hitoshi because he couldn't keep his big mouth shut and got mind controlled. Kirishima beat Tetsutetsu in an armwrestling match. Denki is stuck in vines having lost to Ibara. Toga defeated Mina by wearing down her hardening quirk then using a shockwave to push her from the ring. Momo froze poor Tokoyami in place much like Shouto did with Sero. Then there was Iida's match against Hatsume. Their quirks were exactly the same but due to the fact that Hatsume was in the support course she was allowed to use the items she created. Iida almost lost the match but Mei conceded it to Iida after realising they had the same quirks. Iida was a bit frustrated in the fact he was toyed with but when Mei landed a kiss on his cheek those sentiments left him.

Round 2

Tenya Iida vs Ibarra Shiozaki

Izuku Midoriya vs Hitoshi Aizawa

Momo Yaoyorozu vs Himiko Toga

Ejiro Kirishima vs Shouto Todoroki

The second round was incredibly fast for the contestants. Tenya pushed Ibara from the ring with a single Recepro Burst. Izuku defeated Hitoshi by staying silent and moving too quickly for him to lock on to him with his telekinesis quirk. Momo was defeated by Toga through a series of pin point and delayed explosions destroying the ice she created. She was blown out of the ring thanks to a delayed AP shot explosion that caught her off guard. This resulted in some minor burns on Momo and ended up breaking the contract for Toga meaning she has to clean the entire dorms for the rest of the semester. Kirishima and Todoroki's battle was the longest out of the four matches. His acid had strange qualities that made the ice boil upon contact, Izuku explained that the acid had to be Sulfuric Acid because the acid instantly boils water through the chemical reaction. Kirishima was defeated when he ran out of stamina to use his hardening quirk having been hit several times from glaciers of ice. Shouto thanked him for the fight and helped him to his feet before walking out of the arena quietly.

Semi-Finals:

Izuku Midoriya vs Tenya Iida

Shouto Todoroki vs Himiko Toga

Both matches were a game of endurance but it was extremely one sided in the power department. For Izukus match, he was dominating over Iida hand over fist. Everytime Iida managed to get close Izuku would take to the air, being able to get out of his way in time. Iida wasted all his recpro bursts within the first 3 minutes of the match and lost when he was unceremoniously tossed out of the arena by Izuku who made him weightless. Todoroki took a different approach to fighting Himiko. He knew how she fought and created a blast resistant suit for her offensive capabilities. Toga was out matched, the cold from the ice stopped her from sweating and eventually she was unable to create explosions. She gave up after Todoroki but his open right hand out in front of her threatening to freeze her to win via immobilization. Bakugou was snarling mad in the stands but was quieted when Toga said it was alright and that he won fair and square.  

"LADIES AND GENTLEMAN!!! THE FINAL BATTLE OF THE SPORTS FESTIVAL! WHO WILL BE THE WINNER WILL IT BE THE SON OF ENDEAVOR OR THE SON OF ALL MIGHT!? IN THE RED CORNER THE MASTER OF CREATION AND OF THE ELEMENTS OF ICE AND FIRE! SHOTO TODOROKI!!! AAANNND IN THE BLUE CORNER WE HAVE THE MOST WANTED MAN IN THE WORLD FOR BREAKING THE LAWS OF PHYSICS AND THE PRODICAL SECRET LOVE CHILD OF ALL MIGHT HIMSELF IZUKU MIDORIYAAAAA!!!!" Present mic shouts from the announcers booth as Izuku and Shoto take opposite sides of the arena and ready themselves for the title fight of the sports festival.
