I walked down the dimly lit hallway leading to our rooms in the girls' hostel as I was just returning from class. As I passed by the common room, I saw a group of girls all bunched up in a cluster, when I heard Phoebe call my name.

"Ivy!" she called out to me, in her American accent which was particular since we were just a few Americans here

"Yeah," I responded, as I stopped dead in my tracks, wanting to know what she had to say

"Come see this," she said as she pulled me into the common room. Phoebe had managed to huddle up several other girls: Riley, Martha, Cynthia, Kelly and now myself. All bent over the small iPhone screen our heads touching. That's when I saw what they were all chattering about.

It was a picture of a guy sitting by a fountain, he had two of his fingers in his hair and a crooked smile played on his lips.

I was lost in comprehending his beauty when Martha snapped her fingers

" Ivy, what's up... Oh I see, she also has a crush on him" she said as they all giggled and focused their attention on me.

I could feel my cheeks heating up as I tried to form a voice that would make them believe whatever I was about to say.

"Me.... Crush on him- nah, I can't crush on someone I barely know," I said in a not so convincing tone though it didn't convince me but it was the best I could come up with at this time.

"You can't deny, you know that right?" said Phoebe, "Hmm...How sure are you guys about your analysis?" I asked.

"Lemme see, you're blushing and sounding- uhm you are.. what's the word... Lost" said Riley.

"Whatever, I'm off to bed, Phoebe, I'll be waiting for you to return back to the room," I said as I left the common room ignoring all the comments said by the girls in there.
