Tim's Pov

I wanted to tell them about something...something awful. There's a memory I have that I've been keeping a secret. I kept it a secret in hope of protecting them but...I need to tell them. I looked at them all remembering that awful day.

Flashback

I was walking down a small trail. My head was hung low and my hands were in my pockets. I was lost in thought. I was going home to my husband Sam and I was wondering if I should bring him a gift back. That's when something caught my eye. A beautiful sparkling gem was resting on a rock a few feet away from me. I looked at it in awe. Sam would love that green gem but...its really shady for it to be out in the open like this. I sighed and shook my head. Oh well...I'm not dumb enough to fall for that trap. I began walking away when suddenly the gem lit up brightly. I looked back at it in shock. "The hell?" I said before the green gem shone so bright it blinded me. I screamed and covered my eyes. I groaned and reopened them looking back at the gem. I don't know what told me but something told me to walk over to the gem. I felt power come into me as I approached the gem. As I stood next to it I think I saw a shadow watching me. I looked into the gem. The way the gem sparkled and the way the light moved on it was so memorizing. That's when I suddenly heard strange hypnotic music. My body moved in sync with the music. Something told me to touch the gem and I did. The hypnotic music was loud in my ears and the light danced in a hypnotic way. I gave into the hypnotic light and music allowing my mind to slip into it's control. I heard a dark chuckle a few feet in front of me and saw someone approach me. "Hello Tim" I heard a familiar voice say. I looked up and saw 'Jack' standing there smiling at me. "Hello" I said calmly back. He walked over to me and put a hand on my arm. "You are my loyal servant from now on" he said smirking the hypnotic music getting louder in my ears. "I'm waiting for your command Jack" I said slightly swaying my body to the hypnotic music. His eyes darkened greatly and he laughed evily. "Perfect" he said.
