Aarushi POV continues

How can be god so cruel?....
I thought.

I was waiting to talk with the doctor to know about my mother's condition. After a few minutes, the doctor came from the ICU. I quickly run towards her and asked about my mother's condition.

" Minor heart stroke...Take care." She said looking at me sadly. The doctor was my mother's friend.

" she needs to be under supervision for 24 hours. So better you stay here" she added.

"Okay, aunty. I will" I replied.

I thanked God to save my mother. After two hours, the nurse informed me that my mother opened her eyes and wants to meet me. Then I quickly went inside to meet her.

" Sorry dear, I make you worried," she said while crying.

" No mom, I am scared to see you in this condition," I said controlling my tears.

" As a doctor, I can understand my situation. Just fulfil my last wish dear. Get married soon" she requested.

We can talk about it after your discharge home. " I avoided the topic.

" Okay then, I want to talk with Abiram uncle and jhanavi aunty. Please ask them to come" my mother asked me suddenly.

" They both are staying in Vizag" I answered.

" Then ask their son to come here. I want to talk something important with him." My mother demanded this time.

I don't want to see Rithwik's face again but what to do my condition is like that. So I dialled his number. I thought he will not attend my call. But to my surprise, he attended the call.

I informed him about my mother's condition and explained to him that she wants to speak with him. He didn't say anything to me and disconnected the call. I cried silently with his response meanwhile my mother is shifted to a special ward.

I sat beside her holding her hand in my palms looking at my mom's face. My mother was sleeping deeply due to sedation.

" Aarushi...." I heard someone called my name and saw rithwik standing at the door.

" How is your mom, now?" He asked me.

" Out of danger" I replied.

" I thought, you won't come to the hospital," I said looking at him.

" I am not that cruel " he answered.

I smiled at his answer and replied " I only know how cruel, you are..." Sarcastically.

He remained silent with my answer and said " I will wait outside. Please call me when your mother opens her eyes" then left the room without looking at me.

After two hours, my mom opened her eyes and asked about Rithwik. I informed the nurse to call him. Within a minute he came inside the room.

" I need to talk with Rithwik very important matter. Can you go outside and wait" my mom asked me.

" but your condition is not good to leave you alone" I replied.

" Rithwik will be there...." My mom told.

I left the room leaving rithwik with my mom. It was very confusing.

Rithwik's POV:

It has been one week, Ishitha left for Mumbai. I started missing her and especially her homemade food. So I started spending a lot of time in the office itself.

Suddenly, I got a call from Aarushi. I was struggling with myself whether to attend the call or not. After a long ring, I attended the call. I was astonished to know about her mother. I disconnected the call and immediately drove to the hospital.

While I was driving to the hospital I was thinking about why her mother wants to talk with me.

I asked for the details at the helpdesk and went to meet aarushi's mom. My heart pained looking at Aarushi's tears whereas her mom was sleeping soundly.

When she said that she didn't expect me to come to the hospital, I understand how much I hurt her withbehaviourrrrr.

She thinks of me as a cruel person. I could not face her anymore so I waited for her mother to speak.

After three hours, the nurse informed me that her mother is calling me. Instantly I went to her room to talk with her. The most surprising thing is she asked Aarushi to leave the room so that she can talk with me privately.

I didn't understand what she wants from me. Looking at me seriously, aarushi left the room. Then aunty said me to close the room and ask to sit beside her. I did as she said to me.

I was amused to believe whatever she said to me. After listening to her words, I understand that my family is in great danger. When I stood to leave the room. She requested to take care of Aarushi if anything happens to her.

I promised aunty that I will take care of aarushi in any situation. Then I opened the door whereas Aarushi was standing with an angry face.

" Sorry for everything ...." I said bending my head with shame.

" your apologies are not required. Just leave this place. If my mom didn't ask to call you, I never made a call. Anyways thanks for coming" she said rudely.

" Aarushi....please let me stay here with you. I will stay with aunty. " I pleaded.

She didn't say anything to me so I followed her to aunty's room. When I entered the room, aunty smiled at me.

" My condition is not good. So I am planning for Aarushi's marriage. Please convince your friend for marriage" aunty requested me.

I looked at Aarushi then she immediately left the room keeping straight face.

"It's my last wish dear. I can't die peacefully leaving alone" aunty cried.

" Please don't cry. It's not good for your condition, aunty" I said.

" Aarushi...." I called her.

But she didn't turn her head. I went to the other side and noticed tears on her cheeks.

" Stop crying. For your mother's sake except for marriage. I mean .... pretend that you are ready for marriage. Meanwhile..." She cut off my words and slapped me.

I was beyond shock by her action.

" Everything is lies to you. Love, emotions, feelings, ..... " she blurted out her anger.

" Still I don't believe how did I fall in love with you. Get lost from here. I don't want to see your face." she yelled.
