Ishita POV

After the nurse left, I lay on the couch opposite his bed. I cover my face to avoid having a conversation with him. I don't want him to notice that I was acting as if I was sleeping. 

There was silence for a while. It felt hard to act as if I was sleeping. Slightly I opened my eyes and looked at him through the gap of my hands on my eyes. His eyes were closed but he slept on his sides towards my direction. I thought for some time, closing my eyes. It was uncomfortable to share the same room so I thought about leaving the room for a few minutes as he was sleeping. I stood up to go out, just then his mobile rang. Instantly he opened his eyes and tried to take his mobile from the bedside table.  I stepped back and helped him in taking his mobile. I noticed the display name was " Tony". He kept it in speaker mode.

Rishab: " Hi... what's up? " 

Tony: We reached India. What is the next move?

Rishab: one minute, I will join the call with Rithwik. 

Then he joined the conference call to Rithwik. After a few rings, Rithwik attended the call.

Rithwik: Hi, How is your health?

Rishab: I am fine. Is Ragini with you? 

Rithwik: No. But she wanted to transfer the property to her name and ordered me to kill Aarushi.

" What? " I exclaimed as I heard what Rithwik informed us.

Rishab: Just manage till tomorrow morning. And send Aarushi to her maternal home. Tony, are you listening?

Tony: Yes, I am all ears...

Tony: You and Manasi stay in Aarushi's maternal home. Take care of Aarushi.

Tony: okay.

Rishab: Rithwik...Do what I say. Tell her that before transferring of property if anything unusual happens then it will be a problem for you both. Hope you have already completed what I told you to do.

Rithwik: Yes. That work is done.

Rishab: I will come there by tomorrow morning. Don't worry. 

I took his mobile and said, " Rishab is not coming. I think you and Tony can manage the problem over there. The doctor strictly told him not to move from the bed" 

Tony: Is he not fine?

Rithwik: What happened?

Rishab: I am okay( he lied)

I: He is not okay. And his body is not in a condition to walk.

Tony: Rish...Trust me, I will take care. Moreover, Rithwik and Vivek are with me. 

Rithwik: Tony is right. We will handle the situation. Bye.

After the call disconnected, he glared at me and called my name with anger. " What if anything happens to Aarushi? Don't you know she is pregnant? " he yelled at me.

" You can't even take care of yourself in this condition? Then what will you do going there? " I questioned him.

" Even though my condition is not good, I came here and saved my father. Until we lose our hope, we must try our best.." He said.

" I don't allow you to go anywhere…" I said my decision.

" Ishita… I don't need your permission to go. You can't dictate my life…" I said furiously. She looked at me with the same intensity and asked, " Then who gave you the right to play with my life, my heart, and my feelings? Do you take my permission to hurt me? "

Instantly he shut his mouth and looked down. " You are not going anywhere because I promised my father to take care of you. Till you are recovered, you should follow my instructions… " I said.

When I was shouting at him, the staff of the cafeteria came to give the food to him. I stopped the discussion and took the food from him. Then I closed the door and gave him food to eat. 

" No need…" he said rudely. My anger was out of control and shouted at him, " What are you thinking of yourself? Huh? Do you think I will plead with you to eat as if you are a small kid? No chance... " 

" I am not in a mood, just keep it aside…" he replied. I looked at him and said, " Your wish…" Then I sat in one corner of the room and started playing the game on my mobile. I don't want to talk with him.

Rishab POV

After the argument about food, I lay on the bed, closing my eyes. Already she is so angry at me. So I don't want to disturb her more. 

After a while, I heard the door knocking sound and opened my eyes. Immediately she opened the door and was talking with someone. I could not see the person she was talking with. All of sudden, she turned her head back and glared at me. I was confused by her weird looks at me. I didn't understand what happened to her, that she was looking as if she was burning with her eyes. 

She stepped back and invited someone. Slightly I titled my head to see the person. Then I noticed a classmate of my friend, Vivek.

" Hi, how are you? " saying she walked towards me and sat beside me on the edge of my bed. She took my right hand and kissed my knuckles. " I didn't think I would see in this condition…" she started crying holding my hand.

" Anju….stop crying… I am fine" I said, placing my hand on her head. " Stupid girl, being a doctor, you are crying! You might see many patients, won't you?" I asked her.

" But patients are different and you are different. You are so close to my heart, " she replied. " I know….Anju. " I said with a small smile and wiped her tears.

" By the way, who is she with you? " she asked me, looking at Ishita. I wanted to introduce her as my wife but I am scared of her reaction because a few minutes back she was yelling at me. 

When I was in a dilemma, she answered, " I am his family friend". I could see hurt in her eyes whenever she was informed about our relationship. I understood that I lost my right to her.

" I will be back in ten minutes, excuse me…" she left the room without looking back.

" Is she misunderstanding my relationship with Anjali? " I thought.
