******Ishita POV*****

We reached aarushi's home within few minutes as the temple was nearby to her home. She told us to wait in her bedroom within few minutes. We went to her room which was on the top floor. I liked her room which was decorated with beautiful interiors. On one side of her bedroom, I noticed photos were hanged on the wall. Those photos were aarushi's from her childhood to her college time. She was looking so beautiful with a sweet smile on her lips. Most of the photos were with my sister-in-law, manaasi. Among all of them, I liked one photo where manaasi, Taurus and rithwik were together with bright smiles might at the age of 16. I could identify my husband in it as we were family friends from the beginning. I was busy exploring those photos.

“ Are you admiring your husband childhood photo?” suddenly I heard a voice from behind.

It was none other than manaasi who was always ready to tease me.

The smile was the only answer to her question because I don’t know exactly what I was feeling for him in my heart. I wanted to give a chance to our relationship but with rithwik behaviour, I had no hope.

When I was in my thought, aarushi entered the room with snacks and soft drinks.

We spent happily talking about random things like our college, studies, career, family and others. We didn’t notice the time till we got a call from Jhaanu aunty. Jhaanu aunty asked us to come quickly as they were waiting to do lunch with us.

“Take care of my vadina(sister-in-law) as she is new to this place and my parents are going to shift to Vizag as will stay alone at home,” manaasi said to aarushi before leaving for our home.

I felt very glad about Manasi's concern. She was treating me like her own sister.

“ sure, from today Ishita is my friend. Don’t worry” aarushi replied.

We exchanged our phone numbers and started to our home.

           ********

Aunty and uncle were waiting for us to have lunch together. We quickly joined with them as it was quite late for lunch.

Manaasi informed that she wanted to do some shopping as the next day she was going back to Australia. I was feeling bored, so I went to our bedroom to take nap as I didn’t sleep properly last night.

When I wake up, I noticed surrounding it was dark in the room, immediately I took my mobile on the nearby table and checked the time, 7.15 pm. I never slept like this for long hours in the middle of the day. Then I saw a person working with a laptop on the couch in the dark. I was scared at once seeing u figure and stood up slowly from the bed.

The person noticed me with the sound of my Bangles and anklets. He slowly switched on the lights in the room.

It was my husband who was working like a workaholic person in a dark room. Stupid, the idiot was mumbling….

“ you scared me” I yelled at him.

“ why?” he asked as an innocent person.

“I am new to this place. I was scared seeing you in the dark” I answered angrily.

“ Sorry, I didn’t mean to scare you. You were sleeping and I don’t want to disturb you. So I am working in the dark with my laptop” he replied maintaining his cool voice.

I don’t understand how to feel, happy for thinking about my sleep or sad for treating me as a guest.

So many questions were roaming in my mind. I seriously walked out of our bedroom. I stood on the balcony and was thinking about how to stay alone in this house.

“ When did you wake up?” jhanu aunties asked me.

“ just now” I replied covering my sadness.

“get ready, we all are going to have dinner in the restaurant” jhanu aunty informed me.

****Rithwik POV*****

It was very difficult for me to face Ishita. After returning from the temple, manaasi asked me to take Ishita along with her to Igarashi's home.

I don’t want ishita to meet aarushi but I could not deny it t front of everyone which make everyone suspicious of me.

Even after I reached the office, I was thinking about their meeting. I wanted to know what they did together. As I could not ask Ishita directly, I called Manasi and asked what they were doing.

I felt relaxed after talking with manaasi. Then only I got concentration on my work. In the evening, I got a call from my dad that we have to go for family dinner at night. He asked me to finish my work early. When I entered our bedroom, Ishita was sleeping peacefully. I don’t want to disturb her as I know she didn’t sleep properly because of me.

I was hurting her feelings, it was visible in her face but still, she remained quiet for everyone in the family.

She was looking angelic in her sleep. I could not take away my eyes from her.

I observed for few minutes then I don’t know what to do. So I resumed back to my work on my laptop.

I thought she might be disturbed if I switched on the light so I worked in the darkroom.

She shouted at me as I was working in the dark .she was scared of my work and left the room angrily. I just wanted her to take proper rest. Instead, she was scared of seeing my figure in the dark. Then I understood she was afraid of darkness.

The first time, I saw a furious side of my wife, Ishita.

Oh my god, without my concern I accepted her as my wife.

*****Ishita POV*****

Now, I understood why Rithwik didn’t wake me. He could not ask me to join the dinner due to last night incident. As I could not deny aunty words, I went back to our room to get ready.

I wanted to see what he will do.

Whether we will ask me to join to dinner with everyone or not?

Again I acted as getting sleep and feeling very tired. But he was not at all bothered about me. He was deeply involved in his laptop. I thought it was better to marry that laptop instead of me.

After few minutes, I heard someone knocking on the door. He opened the door, I recognize the voice, it was uuncle'svoice.

I wanted to know what reply he will give. I was surprised to hear his reply…..
