Shweta came out from the room after talking with juhi. She was lost somewhere walking absent mindedly. When she reached towards living room she saw avni, Neil and bebe talking and laughing in between. She smiled faintly and goes to kitchen.

Neil: I need water main abhi aaya

Avni: tum betho main lekar aati hu

Neil nodded smiling at her. Avni went to kitchen.

She entered inside and saw shweta standing back facing to her holding a glass. Suddenly she stumbled back and about to fall but avni held her on time with one hand and with other she took away the glass from her and placed it on table.

Avni made her sit carefully on the chair. Shweta held her head squeezing her eyes tight. Avni looked at her been worried for her health.

Avni: aunty aap thik hai na? Ek minute paani

She poured water in glass and helped her in drinking it. Shweta looked at her through her half opened eyes. She smiled faintly and nodded her head. Avni was shocked seeing her smiling.

Avni: aapne kuch khaya?

Shweta shook her head she was looking weak. Avni took out some fruits from the fridge and started cutting it.

Other side

Bebe went to her room for taking rest. Neil waited for avni sometimes but when she didn't come he also goes to kitchen.

He entered inside and saw avni was feeding shweta. He rubbed his eyes continuously not believing the scene that was playing infront of his eyes.

He walked towards them and smiled in amusement. His eyes fell on the shweta who was sitting infront of avni on the small dining table in the kitchen. She had her eyes closed and was chewing the fruit lazily that avni was feeding her.

Avni looked at Neil.

Avni: aunty ki tabiyat kharab hai I think inka bp low ho gaya hai.

Neil looked at shweta in worry.

Neil: mom aap bhi na bilkul khayal nahi rakhti apna.

He touched her forehead with his palm and found it warm because of fever.

Neil: lo fever bhi hai aapko ek minute main doctor ko phone karta hu.

He was talking out his phone from his pocket but shweta held his hand stopping him.

Shweta: koi zaroorat nahi hai doctor ko bulane ki rest karungi toh thik ho jaungi.

She said in her weak voice. Avni looked at shweta not feeling good seeing her in this state. Just like a child who felt bad seeing his/her mother weak.

Avni: Neil hum aunty ko kamre main lekar chalte hai

Neil: haa

Neil made her stand carefully and took her to her room. While avni was behind them with a plate of fruits.

Neil made her sit on the bed and kept the pillows behind her. Avni sat infront of her and passed her a piece of apple. Shweta denied shaking her head.

Avni: aapko khana hee padega kitni weak lag rahi hai aap phir medicines bhi leni hai. Ye pura finish karna padega aur paani bhi zyada Peena padega.

Shweta looked at Neil, watching his mother shocked face he chuckled. Avni looked at him raising her eyebrows. Neil shook his head suppressing his smile.

Neil: mom ko apples zyada pasand nahi hai

Avni: ( to shweta ) arey ye toh aapko sabse zyada khana chahiye because an apple a day keeps the doctor away.

Shweta smiled looking at her. Avni fed her forcefully ignoring her constant pleadings. At last she took medicines and gulped it down.

Avni went from there. Neil looked at her retreating figure then at her mother. She was staring the wall blankly. Neil side hugged her taking her hand in his.

Neil: kya hua kuch baat hai kya aap tension main lag rahi hai bataiye mujhe

Shweta looked at him and caressed his face

Shweta: kuch nahi tu hai na toh sab thik hai

Neil smiled and they both talked after so many days. Neil realised how badly she missed him. After laying her on bed properly neil covered her with duvet and left from there kissing her forehead.

Neil came to their room and saw avni praying namaz. Her forehead creased it looked like she was in tension. He sat on the couch looking at her. After sometimes she stood up and kept the belongings on their place.

Neil held her arm and made her sit beside him. Avni looked at him with her innocence filled orbs.

Neil: kya hua?

Avni: ( not meeting his eyes) kuch nahi

Neil: avni look at me and answer

Avni: vo aunty ji ki health achanak kharab ho gayi toh just little worried for her

Neil: okay but don't worry she will be fine jab bhi vo meal neglect karti hai toh unki health kharab ho jaati hai

Avni nodded while he assured her.

At evening

Shweta woke up from her sleep. She got up and sat straight. she smiled feeling better now. She remembered how avni was taking care of her like a doctor. She thinks something and got up from the bed and went outside of her room.

While bebe called Neil in her room.

Bebe: ye le

She said giving him the envelope. Neil took it frowning in confusion

Neil: ye kya hai bebe?

Bebe: ( mischievously) khud khol kar dekhle

Neil opened it and widened his eyes as well as his mouth looking at the honeymoon tickets for them. Neil grinned ear to ear and hugged her tightly. Bebe chuckled seeing his excitement.

Bebe: bas bas ab mujhe chode ga SaaS nahi aa rahi mujhe

Neil broke the hug and kissed her cheek.

Neil: thank you bebe you are the best

He again kissed her cheek and ran from there being excited for his honeymoon. While bebe shook her head laughing watching his antics.

Neil came to their room and saw avni folding the clothes. He walked towards her and hugged her from behind tightly. Avni startled suddenly feeling  the hug but got relaxed after sometime. He started twirling her making her squealed. At last he placed her on ground and she turned around keeping her hand on her heart.

Avni: Neil kya tha ye, dara diya tumne toh mujhe

Neil: baat hee kuch esi hai ye dekho bebe ne kya diya honeymoon tickets hamare liye

He said grinning widely. At the same time shweta came there hearing Neil she just stood outside looking at them.

Avni looked at Neil how happy he was for their honeymoon but she had to tell him that this was not the right time to go.

Avni: Neil I am sorry but we can't go

Neil: kyun?

Avni: aunty ki health thik nahi hai, ish waqt unhe hamari zyada zaroorat hai. Agar ham chale bhi gaye to mera man nahi lagega please, aur honeymoon ka kya hai vo toh ham kabhi bhi jaa sakte hai but this is more important.

Shweta looked at avni unknown to her a tear slipped down from her eyes. She went from there silently and at the same time she was feeling guilty about her behaviour towards her because she was not like others who separate the family but she was the one who is selfless and thinks for others before herself.

Neil looked at avni admiringly. How can anyone be so selfless and perfect he thought. But his avni was a gem and no one can be like her he knows that.

Neil cupped her face and kissed her forehead softly. He looked into her eyes deeply feeling proud of her.

Neil: I can't even thank you. Mom always behaves rudely with you but still you are thinking about her. I love you even more.

Avni smiled and placed her head on his chest hugging him.

Avni: I love you too

She whispered snuggling more into him. Neil Sighed contentedly pulling her more closer and they drifted into their world.
