I'm so jealous of that guy right now.

He gets to hold your hand and dance with you and keep you close to him. If I could, I'd murder him. But sadly, I can't.

The idea of a school dance sounds wonderful though. I'd love to go with you but there's one problem. I don't dance much... but it's for you, then I'll gladly do it. I'll hold you close to me and never let you go. I'd constantly watch over you and keep you away from anybody who dares to ask for a dance with you.

I'm sure you'd look beautiful... I'm sure a lot of people would love to be with you and I wouldn't blame them.

You're too big for me to keep in my pocket and too bright to hide away in the shadows. It seems that the person I love, is very difficult to keep to myself...

But I won't let them take you. Somehow, someday...I'll be with you.
