Eli's heart raced as she hid behind a wall at the hallway, glancing at a certain bluenette who was leaning on the wall. She held onto the box of chocolates in her hand, as if it was some precious gem.

Badump...Badump...

"Wahh! I can't do it!" Eli exclaimed as she tried running away, only to be held back by Nozomi and Nico. "What're ya doing, running away!?" Nico scolded, her ruby eyes glaring at the poor blonde who was now sitting on the floor hugging her knees and sobbing quietly.

"I can't! My body is all tensed up whenever I'm near her, my hands become sweaty and my heart threatens to come out of my ribcage because of excessive beating.." Eli weakly argued, trying to look at the both of them. "I want to ask the same thing! Me and Nicocchi went through trouble all night making those chocolates, Elicchi please make up your mind." Nozomi calmly said, smiling lightly at the blonde.

"Yeah! I even thought that you were the most experienced at this, even though you were always the recipient." Nico added as she and Nozomi squatted to level the girl in front. "I know, it's just that..If you give somebody a chocolate in Valentine's Day, isn't that practically a confession!?" Eli started to panic. "Wasn't that obvious?" Nozomi immediately replied playfully.

"Too fast Nozomi!" Nico whisper-yelled, nudging the older girl. "You wanted her to know your feelings right? Then why don't you do it?" Nico pointed out. "You're right Nico..." Eli answered, playing with the box of chocolates with Umi's name on it.
"Aren't we? Now hand it o-" "I can't."
Nico was stressed out. "Arghh!! You still won't go!?" The midget idol was fuming in irritation.

"It's easier said than that Nico! Besides, she's been giving sincere smiles to Kotori lately, she definitely likes her, unlike me, who was always given the same smile she
gives everyone." Eli argued again, bowing her head in complete desperation. Realizing the mess Eli's broken heart made, Nozomi scooted closer to Eli, holding a piece chocolate.

"Here, Elicchi, have some chocolate." Nozomi offered, Eli raised her head in confusion, she opened her mouth and tried to protest, but was cut off by some sweet sensation inside her mouth. Realizing that it was her favorite food, she began to chew slowly, taking in the food. "See? That wasn't so bad, just go and tell her how you feel Elicchi, maybe you'll still have a chance. My cards told me something great will happen today."

"Why didn't you tell her earlier?! If you did, then we don't have to deal with this problem.. Sheesh Nozomi. Such a troublemaker." A stressed Nico implied, turning her back on the older girls with her arms crossed across her chest. "Oh? It seems like somebody asked for a punishment!~" Nozomi wriggled her hands with a sinister smile on her face.

Nico knew Nozomi was up to, and she felt her spine quiver in fear. She tried running away, but it seems like her legs betrayed her, leaving her motionless. As she felt a pair of hands cupping her breasts, she wished that her life would've been memorable.

And with that, a high-pitched shriek can be heard throughout the building.

Eli sighed as she looked behind the wall again, only to find the bluenette already standing still, as if waiting for someone. She sighed once again and before going out, she mumbled a quick thanks for her two best friends who were still engaged in the horrifying activity.

She walked out from behind the wall slowly, and walked towards the junior who was fiddling with the hem of her skirt.

Sensing that someone was nearby, the archer looked up, finally found the girl she's been waiting for to show up.

Eli could feel her mind reeling fast, making her numb for a couple of seconds. She felt heat rising to her cheeks, her blushing face visible for everyone to see. "Oh hey Eli," Umi said coolly, her amber eyes gazing on azure eyes. Eli felt herself relax upon seeing golden eyes

Eli's inner mind began to debate on how to confess. But her subconscious mind advised her calmly.

Eli, you wanted her to know how you feel right?

Eli's inner self nodded.

They say that you'd ever know something until you try, maybe this time you'll know something. You should give it a try!

Eli's inner self nodded once more. It's true, I should give it a try. She thought to herself, finally found courage.
"So Eli, what brings you here?" Umi asked, breaking Eli out of her stupor. "W-Well, I just happen to pass by. But since you're here, might as well talk to you." Eli mentally cursed at herself for saying such words, but as she saw Umi hiding a box of chocolates behind her back, her heart began to swell.

"As expected from Umi chan! You sure are popular, aren't you?" Eli inquired playfully, despite her heavy and distressed feeling building up inside her. "H-huh? Ah! N-no I'm n-not!" Umi defended while flushing beet red, then a moment after, she calmed down. "T-this is for s-someone.." Eli's heart swelled even more.

"How about you? You seem to have someone in mind.." Umi cooed. "Uh.. Yes, I do have someone in mind." Eli answered, not looking the the junior infront of her. 'For you..' "Is that so? Well I'm a bit jealous of that person! Haha.." Umi joked, making Eli break down even more. "Oh you, what reason do you have to be jealous?" Eli probed curiously, earning a slight grin from Umi. "Nothing!"

Eli tried holding her tears in, but remembered Nozomi's previous words instead. 'The cards told me something great will happen today.'

Eli regained her composure and spoke out. "Here Umi, chocolates. I uh.. don't know if you'll like it but, I hope you will." She handed the chocolates to Umi, who was still unable to speak from the sudden confession.

"W-W-W-What?! M-me?" Thankfully, Umi still managed to speak, while her face covered in deep red. 'She's so cute!~' Eli thought. Umi accepted the gift, and held it tightly.

'I'm so glad she accepted it!' Eli voiced out inwardly, soon she found herself confident and outgoing once again, the heavy burden wiped out in a single strike. "Well I gotta go now, you have to give yours to someone, right?" Eli waved and tried to leave, not even bothering to get an answer from the bluenette. She chuckled bitterly.

'Nozomi, I think you are wrong. There's nothing great in something you've never tried before..'

"Eli! Wait!" Eli felt a light tug at her blazer's left sleeve. She turned around to see Umi looking at her directly in the eye, her azure eyes locked on her amber ones. "Eli.. I uh..." the archer sputtered out, unable to speak. "Hm? What is it?" Eli asked, thinking what might the junior wanted right now.

"A-Actually, t-this is for you, E-Eli..." Umi said, now looking in different directions. Eli stood there in silence as she brought back the previous statement Umi made. 'This can't be real, right?' Eli dreamed of many reasons why is this not real. But she can't seem to find it. Only one way to know, for sure.

She looked at the cute heart-shaped box of chocolates Umi was giving her. She once again felt her heart threatening to come out from her ribcage. She took the chocolates from Umi with trembling hands. She is also still speechless at the things Umi said to her.

Eli was still wandering around her stupor when she felt something warm and soft on her lips. She broke through her thoughts and felt Umi clumsily moving her lips to deepen the kiss. The bluenette then pulled away and hugged Eli.

"This means.. we feel the same.. right?" Eli spoke, still processing the miraculous event she'd been dreaming to happen.

"Yeah, Happy Valentine's, Eli."

"Happy Valentine's, Umi."
