He laughed crookedly before one of his men walked closer to me and held my head steady against the wall. I breathed, a goodbye breath to life.

"It was an honor working with you," he said, his voice echoing in the dark room. "I was the one who broke into your system."

I lifted my head to look at him but the man slapped me to stay bowed.

"Rose never loved you," he said and I bit my lower lip to relive my anger. "She told me that again and again and again."

"She loved me," my voice came out muffled and weak.

"Oh she didn't, trust me."

I closed my eyes.

"I want to tell you one more thing," I could hear him walking closer to me. He leaned and his voice was now clearer, I wouldn't miss a word he says after.

I heard an arrogant laugh before he uttered, "I killed her."

I think I missed what he said.

I think I didn't hear it right, but I couldn't do anything to make him repeat it.

Because next thing I knew, the man's hand tightened around my neck, a bullet was fired and I lost sight.

I lost every sense.

I lost you then I lost myself.

I don't think I will meet you afterlife, cause you're an angel, baby. An angel in heaven, and I swear I can already see myself in hell.
