Months flew by, and it was the day of Half yearly terminal examination results.....
This time too, the result was the same with Sonakshi at the first position and Dev at the second. However, he took it sportingly and was happy for Sonakshi. His friends were happy too...

Vicky: "Congratultions Dev....tuh second aaya hai!! What if Sonakshi is first?? You are first among boys...Haina??"

Dev smiled and said: "Thank you Vicky...waise iss baar kafi tough competition thi....Sonakshi sirf 3 marks se aage hai...but its ok...First aur second mein kya fark hai??"

Nishant: "Haan haan bilkul....it all depends on our luck....Waise hume Sonakshi ko congratulate karna chahiye...nahiin?? After all woh bhi hamari classmate hai!!"

Bunty pretended to be annoyed and said, "Nishant, tujhe tameez nahiin hai kya?? Sonakshi kya bol raha hai?? Sonakshi bhabhi bol...Haina Dev??"

Dev was busy in his mobile and without listening said" Hmmm..."

Listening to this, all of them burst into laughter which made Dev look at them confusingly....

Bunty: "Finally!! Tune accept kar hi liya...chal theek hai ab jaldi se usse bata bhi de.."

Dev was confused and said" Kya bata dun?? Aur kisko??

Vicky: "Common yaar....itna ban mat...tujhe yeh batana hai ki tu Sonakshi bhabhi se pyaar karta hai"

Dev who was drinking his juice spitted it out and was horrified "Kya?? Maine aisa kab kaha?? Aur yeh Sonakshi bhabhi kya hai?? Koi bhabhi vhabhi nahiin hai woh tum logon ki....samjhe?? Aur mujhe iss baat par ab koi discussion nahiin chahiye" and walked away leaving his friends giggling.

AFTER A FEW DAYS

Bunty had always loved Niti but wasn't able to express it. In fact, Niti had always lost her cool whenever Bunty used to come in front of her. So one day, he decided to sit with her on her scooty. But he was aware that Niti will surely not allow this. So he disguised himself as an old man and asked for a lift. She immediately agreed and dropped him to the required place. It was then, he revealed to her his real identity. This made her infuriated and she decided to teach him a lesson.

The next day, Niti was angrily narrating the incident to her friends.

Sonakshi: "Ajeeb batameezi hai!! Bunty ne aisa mazaak kiya tumhaare saath??"

Niti: "Haan Sona....dekho kitna besharm hai!!"

Tanu: "Mujhe toh lagta hai tumhe uski complain karni chahiye Principal se"

Niti: "Nahiin...uski koi zaroorat nahiin hai...usse toh main khud nipat lungi" she said angrily

Later that day, she tampered with Bunty's bike's brake.

Meanwhile, Dev was coming from the library but was stopped by Bunty on his way.

Bunty: "Dev bhai....tu kitna intelligent hai....handsome hai aur smart hai... aur..."(but he was interrupted by Dev)

Dev: (teasingly) "Kya baat hai Bunty!! Badi tareef kar raha hai meri?? Seedhe seedhe bol kya chahiye!!"

Bunty: "Umm...woh kya hai naa Dev...mere cousins aayen hain Jaipur se...toh unhe naa Mumbai ghumaana tha....iss liye please aaj ke liye teri car borrow kar sakta hun??"

Dev: "Bass itni si baat?? Haan haan...le ja....par dhyaan se car chalana"

Bunty hugged him and said "Thanks a lot Dev....tu kitna accha dost hai....aacha yeh le mere bike ke keys....tu isse apne ghar chala ja"

Dev: "Haan theek hai chalte hain...waise bhi late ho raha hai" and walked towards the parking.

Here, Niti had pulled Sonakshi, Elena and Tanu with her and they had manged to hide themselves behind a bush near the parking lot.

Sonakshi: "Niti....tu hume yahaan kyon layi hai??"

Niti: "Ruk naa Sona....dekh abhi maza aayega" she said excitedly

They saw Dev and Bunty coming towards the parking lot laughing with each other.

Bunty went towards Dev's car and said "Accha....chal bye Dev....thanks a lot"

Saying so he hopped in the driver's seat while Dev went towards his bike.

Seeing this, Niti was visibly tensed and said "Arre yeh kya!!.....saara game kharaab ho gaya!!"

Tanu was puzzled and asked, "kaunsa game?? Kya hua??"

Niti: "Arre maine toh Bunty ko maza chakane ke liye uski bike ki  brake wire nikaal di thi....lekin ab ispe to Dev hai" she said worriedly

Elena: "Kya?? Kya kya tune Niti?? Chal bhaag yahaan se!!" and everyone ran away except for Sonakshi

She was worried about Dev and and ran behind the bike calling him. However, by then Dev had already picked up speed and wasn't able to hear her. After hardly covering a few metres from the college gate, the bike tumbled and collapsed. Dev tried to control the bike but wasn't able to do so and fell down with a thud.

After hearing the noise, many students came searching the source of it. Sonakshi was about to go and help him but then saw his friends Vicky and Nishant nearby. She ran upto them and said, "Nishant....jaldi jao...dekho wahaan Dev ka accident ho gaya hai!!"

Nishant: "Kya?? Dev ka accident?? Chal Vicky" and they ran towards him.

Meanwhile, with the help of other students, Dev had managed to get up but his hand hurt badly and he was writhing in pain. Nishant called his father and informed him about his accident. They also told him that they are taking Dev to the hospital and asked him to reach there immediately.

Sonakshi was watching all this from a distance. Convinced that Dev will be taken care off, she left for her home.

However, she wasn't able to get sleep and was awake the entire night wondering about Dev's condition

HOSPITAL

Dev was lying on the hospital bed with a bandage around his forehead and his left hand fractured. His father, Ravindra Dixit and Bunty were by his side

Bunty: "Yaar....sab meri galti hai...mere wajah se tera accident hua...mujhe kya pata tha ki tujhe bike chalani nahiin aati" he said apologetically

Dev: "Nahiin Bunty....ismein teri koi galti nahiin hai, aur mujhe bike chala bhi aata hai....par pata nahiin kaise accident ho gaya?? Shayad dhyaan nahiin tha"

Bunty: (teasingly) "Wohi toh....aajkal aapka dhyaan hi toh nahiin rehta" (indicating towards his crush for Sonakshi)

Dev was startled by his remark and gestured him to keep quiet as his Dad was also present there.

Ravindra: "What happened boys?? Am I missing something??" he asked suspiciously seeing their sign talk

Dev: "Nahiin Dad....aisa kuch nahiin hai....woh toh bas Bunty aise hi...."

Bunty: "Haan uncle....aise hi....main toh bas fracture ke baare mein bol raha tha"

Ravindra: "Oh....accha...Arre ek baar toh main bhi horse riding kar raha tha....uss time main 17 yrs ka tha....aur ekdum se neeche gir gaya....2.5 months ka fracture hua tha....lagta hai fracture hamare khandaan mein hi hai" he said jokingly and all three of them had a great laugh together.
