The next day, in theater arts class, Sophia, Hugo, and their classmates watched Disney's Robin Hood. Sophia and Hugo loved the scene where Maid Marian feared that Robin Hood had forgotten all about her. Sophia knew she was afraid Hugo had forgotten about her after two years of being apart. They loved the archery tournament scene, especially when Robin proposed to Marian.

Sophia and Hugo just loved the movie as it went on. When they got to the scene where Marian sang Love—in her head—Hugo held Sophia very closely. Every word of that beautiful song really made the beautiful couple fall even more madly in love. They were so madly in love that they wanted to get married very badly.

Dr. Xavier saw Sophia and Hugo snuggling together, and he just thought it was beautiful. Everyone thought it was hard to believe that Sophia and Hugo had been apart for two years. They felt bad that it happened a year after Sophia's mother died, but they were happy that Sophia was back with Hugo.

That night, Sophia was rehearsing for her tryout. Unbeknownst to her, Jade was spying on her jealously. The green-eyed Jade couldn't bear to listen to her lovesick stepsister act so happy to be doing this.

"Jade, what are you doing?" Sharon asked.

Jade turned around hastily. She realized that her mother and stepfather had caught her spying on her stepsister. "I was just listening to Sophia rehearse," she said nervously.

Sophia had heard the conversation and went up to her door to find her family. "Jade? What's going on?" she asked.

"I couldn't help hearing you practice your audition for the play," Jade declared.

Sophia wasn't sure if she could buy a word Jade was saying—she was sure Jade was spying on her.
