In the penthouse, Sophia was in the shower while Jade was hiding in her bedroom. Garrick and Sharon weren't very happy with Jade's actions, but they knew she felt bad for what she did. They couldn't help but feel concerned.

"Jade, are you okay?" Sharon asked.

"No, Mom, I've been horrible to Sophia, and I just humiliated her in front of everyone at Lucky Clover just before I knew she wanted me as her maid of honor," Jade groaned. "If I had just been happy the minute Sophia and Hugo got engaged—or back together—this wouldn't have happened."

Jade regretted being jealous of Sophia, and she wished Sophia could forgive her for this.

"Oh, if only Sophia knew how sorry I was, I could make it up to her," Jade sighed. "I wish I had gotten over my jealousy sooner."

Little did Jade know that Sophia was at the door, listening. Sophia felt bad for Jade, and she felt like her stepsister deserved her forgiveness.

"Don't worry, Jade," Garrick reassured his stepdaughter. "If you told Sophia why you did this, I'm sure she won't keep holding that grudge against you."

"You think so?" Jade asked. "I just want her to know how lucky I am to have her for sister."

"Do you really mean that?" Sophia asked.

Jade, Sharon, and Garrick turned and saw Sophia standing the doorway. They realized that she had been listening to the conversation.

"Sophia, I'm so sorry," Jade apologized. "I was just jealous because Hugo was so happy to be with you, and I've been chasing after him since I first saw him. I guess I shouldn't blame him, and I don't blame you for getting the role of Maid Marian in the play."

"And I'm sorry I was being such a showoff," Sophia sighed.

"No, you weren't really a showoff," Jade declared. "I was just jealous. Can I do anything to make up for this?"

"There is one thing: I still need a maid of honor for the wedding," Sophia smiled.

"Well, you've got her right here," Jade smiled back. She hugged her stepsister tightly. Garrick and Sharon were very happy that their daughters have reconciled.

"Oh, but what about Hugo?" Jade asked.

"I'm sure he'll understand if you tell him the truth," Sophia reassured her.

Later that day, Jade explained to Hugo the reason she sprayed him and Sophia with fondu. Hugo felt bad for his future stepsister-in-law, and he happily forgave her for her actions.

Now that Sophia and Jade have reconciled, they wanted to bond together.

"Sophia, now that we're getting along, I know a good way we can bond," Jade smiled. "We can always practice our roles as Maid Marian and Lady Kluck for the play together."

"I like that idea," Sophia smiled.

For weeks, Hugo, Sophia, and Jade practiced their roles for the play. While doing so, Sophia even tutored Jade to get her grades up. Hugo, Sophia, and Jade were doing so well that they were all going to graduate in February.
