Manik now turned his head towards nandini in confusion and feeling some weird coldness in her tone while saying this.

But she looked unaffected and was looking at the sky without even a blink.

Manik tried to get up but in a second she pressed something sharp as needle on his neck and now manik saw her eyes which shined dark and shined with a red touch in it.

" Veronica ?" 😰 😰 😰
Now only and only shock was all written on his face now , fear gripped him that if Veronica is here then where's nandini now.

And as soon he said veronica smirked evilly while shifting back to her original form (face and body).

" Ohhhhh my sire !!! U know how much i missed you ? I missed you soo much.
And you know , it should be me with u while u were romancing with your so called nandini.
Huhhhhhh."
She spoke with all her hatred and disgust for nandini.

Manik till then touched the spot on his neck and realised that it's an injection.
And manik looked at her with questioning eyes.

" Ohhhhh that ? It's not poison or something which would hurt you , My Sire. But to let u sleep for sometime. And after finishing off that b**ch I'll come back to you and it will be happily ever after for us."

She laughed evilly like a psychotic lover who's obssessed with someone who doesn't loves her that way.

Manik just shut his eyes with the frustration while gritting his teeths.
With uneven breaths and fear clouding his sight he barely whispered.

" Nandini ko..... mat kro kuch. You.... wanna take .....my life. Take.... it. I... love ....her. She's..... the only one left in.... my life now. Don't....snatch......her.....away...from....me."
But she cutted him in between.

" I gave you a choice before only but you , huhh , didn't chose it. So you left me with only one option and that is to finish that human off. Permanently."

Manik nodded in a No slowly turning his head left and right , she grabbed his face in her hands.

" Don't move much Sire. I'll be back soon. "

Saying this her eyes changed in a more scary colour , she saw upwards at the sky and let out an evil laugh thinking that in a few hours it will be a red moon for which she waited for an eternity.

With giving a last look at helpless manik trying to get up she with her sting sword gave a cold look at manik and left in the dark forest.

And soon manik's eyes landed up on the sky and the moon which was slowly starting to red and his body now started feeling numb now as closed due to high dose of the injection.

Veronica came to a place and saw a small sleeping figure and rolled her eyes at that.

She turned the body with her leg and a bruise on her cheek bone and a little blood was seen at the corner of her lips.

She squatted infront of Nandini's body.

" Tch tch tch tch.
You humans ! Actually , No one actually knows that what happened that night . Haha. So much of mystery hidden na ?
Well all the credit goes to me only.
I was the only reason behind your all this miseries till date.

That day when u decided to become one with my sire I planned to make u faint with the medicine I especially made & mixed it in your food which started affecting you after manik just touched his teeth a little on ur neck and till then u fainted with so slow breaths.

And after an hour when u didn't woke up , he being the love sick puppy took all the blame on himself and thought that you are dead and while he dug out the grave I changed myself in your form and left u helpless around the highways not before taking all your memories from your mind.

After when he went away , I dug out the grave and came out.
See , it's that simple. But I must say that I felt little , u know ? Little bit of sad when he mourned for you the whole night near the grave."

Veronica placed the large sting sword on her neck now.

" But you again managed to come back in manik's life. So I have gotta this option only.
Bye bye human."

The second she took her sting sword little back to slit her throat , a handful of soil was spread to her eyes and she groaned in anger as now her hands were busy to rub her eyes out of her eyes.

With the difficulty , nandini took that heavy sword with her both hands.
And rested the sting sword with one hand on the ground and stood with its support to take a deep breath and nandini touched her cheek with the other free hand as the pain on her cheeks due to the hard punch veronica given by Veronica when she struggled made her frown and frustrate.

( These sting swords are too heavy for a human to pick and use. It looks small but when forced a little in the air it largens in it's original long size. )

" What do you thought ?
Killing me is so easy ? Seriously?
When dealing with manik is tough then how tough it will be to compete with his other half ? Huhhhhhh? "

Saying this nandini spread more of the soil on her face and she groaned loudly in anger now.

" You think this time I'm gonna leave you ? That too alive ? Not at all. "

And within a second veronica grabbed Nandini's throat ever so tightly as Veronica's nails grew in it's length and it started digging into her flesh threatening the blood to come out now.

And second by second Nandini's legs were in air becoz veronica was raising Nandini's body from the ground and placed her back on the tree.

Nandini shut her eyes due to the lack of breath , her face started becoming red bit by bit showing the lack of oxygen.
As nandini's hold on the Sting sword was getting weak and at last it landed on the ground again.

And veronica with an evil toothy smile looked at her shivering and helpless body which she was killing with all her passion and hatred & having a winning smile that she will get manik now.

Up in the sky above all the thick and large branches of trees we could see that the moon turned half red by now. And half is still left to be dark shade of red.

And still manik was lying there with no movement , just like a lifeless body.
