SUMMARY:

Cebell Lockheart was the best prosecutor in all of Gotham, having been succesfull in at least a 100 cases. Her name was known and feared. But how Cebell came to be the most famous prosecutor of Gotham is not the story, it's why.

The darkness she witnessed in her childhood had never stopped following her. Always lurking in corners, shadows pulling at her skin. And so instead of spending her time being afraid of it, Cebell had learned to embrace it and turn it into her very own weapon. She couldn't catch the criminal that killed her parents and her little brother and so she'd turn the city inside out to bring all the criminals she could find to justice.

So far, no one had dared to stand in her way. And so Cebell continued to bring down the city's crime rate, one case at the time. That was until she just started on her 100th case and a black envelope lay waiting for her when she came home. It was a threat, no a promise, that if she didn't back out she'd join her family in death.

Never in a million years did Cebell think it would be Bruce Wayne, of all people, who got her to ask the one, very important question. Are you willing to pay with your own life to avenge those you love?

NOTES:

- I have to admit it took me a while to think of a plot because I haven't seen Batman in so long. And so I decided to make it more of a plot that doesn't really involve the movies. If you want to include those you can of course do so!

- So my idea was that when Cebell was young she, her little brother and her parents were attacked in their home and she was the only one left alive. This inspired her to became a prosecutor. The police had no idea who was behind the attack and so she took it upon herself to bring as much criminals to justice as she possibly could.

- Because of her reputation and her job, she already knows Bruce. I figured it would be fun to give them this kind of flirty-friendship that has never been more than friendship. She doesn't know he's Batman (yet) but he does occasionally provide her with valuable information for her cases. She doesn't question where he gets it. but knows he's probably more than just a businessman.

- So when she gets started on her 100th case she finds a black envelope on her table in her home, telling her to drop the case or she'll meet the same fate as her family. This of couse only makes her more determined to finish the case and so she continues the case in secret.

- The case looks an awful lot like what happened to her and again, only the little girl of the family is left alive. Cebell secretly goes to investigate the house and finds a strange kind off chip on the ground. She finds out where it's made and goes to check out the factory. It's abandoned, making it easy to enter. In the old office she finds files of who used to own the factory. Before she can find out anymore though a fight breaks out. It turns out the factory wasn't empty and Batman is fighting a few men dressed in black. Cebell gets caught in the middle of it and he has to rescue her. When they're out of the fight, she realises it's Bruce.

- They continue working on the case together and discover there have been many cases like this. They try to find the name of the person who owed the factory but it turns out this person doesn't exist. Eventually, with the help of Alfred, they realise the name is an anagram of Callisto Hollowell.

- They discover she has been behind all these attacks in order to slowly gather a group of women to take over Gotham with. During the attacks the chips are put into them to monitor their movements and influence their thoughts so they all end up in powerful positions. This could lead to an arc for Cebell where she believes her talents are all fake. This isn't the case though because the chip amplifies the potential they already have.

- So she and Bruce try to stop Callisto together. I thought her reasoning for doing all of this could be because she was mistreated by men in her childhood. She thinks the world will collapse if it remains in the hands of men and so she basically wants to destroy all men and lead an empire lead completely by women. It's not the best motivation ever so feel free to change some things about it!

- I know this is pretty specific (but there are some plotholes still as well) so feel completely free to change things you don't like, or add scenes or whatever. You don't have to add every single one of these plot points.

Hey breanneLHeureux I hope you like the plot! I know you wanted a different faceclaim but I couldn't find any gifs of her. And when you described the oc, I immediately pictured Melisa. Of course you can still use the faceclaim you wanted, Melisa is just a suggestion! If you want me to change anything about the plot just let me know! I hope you want to write it!
