SUMMARY:

Leo Avery dreamed of the stars. All his life he had been fascinated with the galaxy and the infinite space that stretched out around them. When his father was still alive he used to take Leo with him to the space program he was working on and let him play inside the simulator. Those were some of Leo's favorite memories. But now with his father gone, he felt like he owed it to him somehow to keep the dream alive. To one day fly up there in a rocket and see the stars for himself.

But his chance to fly comes a lot sooner than he expected. When he goes to return his movie to the store one evening and witnesses a woman falling down from the sky, his entire life is turned upside down. Soon enough Leo is sucked into an adventure that might just make his wildest dreams come true. Between running from S.H.I.E.L.D. and showing an alien around his homeplanet, Leo is having the best time of his life.

But not all is what it looks like and while helping Vers on her mission, Leo discovers a secret that will change his entire life. A secret that confirms that he is indeed, made to travel the stars.

NOTES:

- Okay so the idea I had for this book was that it starts with Ron Avery on a mission in space. His crew has discovered a new planet and here they find a village, almost completely destroyed. He hears crying and in the rubble he finds a baby, which he then takes home. To give the kid a normal life he is allowed to adopt it and take care of it. You guessed it, this kid is Leo!

- This explains Leo's obession with the stars. He has always felt drawn to space and the secrets it holds. And while his mother is afraid of telling the truth, his father encourages his son learning as much as possible so that one day he can be ready to know his true heritage. Which is why his father often takes him to the base of the spaceprogram he works on.

- When his father is gone again to another mission in space, Leo and his mother received a call that they have lost contact with the spaceship his father was on and that he is pressumed dead. (It's up to you if you want him to still be alive somewhere, or truly dead).

- A few years after this the story of Captain Marvel starts. Leo just happens to be in the store to return his dvd when Carol comes crashing through the ceiling. At first he is a litte careful but when he realises she's not from earth he becomes real excited and tries to show her around.

- He shows her to the cellphone where she tries to contact the others. When S.H.I.E.L.D. shows up both the agents and Carol tell Leo to stay put but of course he won't listen and jumps on his bike to chase the metro that Carol has boarded.

- The spaceprogram his father worked for is the same one where Carol has to go to find the information about project Pegasus. And so I imagine Leo can help them sneak inside the base because he knows his way around.

- When sneaking around Project Pegasus Leo finds a file about his father which he takes with him. Later when they have escaped and are on the spaceship he reads the file and finds out he was adopted. Carol and Nick want to drop Leo off at home but he refuses and so he joins them when they go visit Maria and Monica. (I imagine a cute friendship between him and Monica).

- For the ending I had the idea that he goes to talk with his mother about what happened and that she finally tells him the truth. Then he introduces his mother to Carol, who tells him and his mother of her offer to take Leo with her to space to find his home and discover where he truly comes from. Of course his mother would need some convincing but I think it could be cool for Leo to go with Carol to space and join her and Skrulls while they travel the galaxy.

- You can write him into Endgame if you want, maybe his mother is snapped away by Thanos? And I think it would be cool if you write a few chapters with him and Carol in space and discovering where he truly comes from. But that is up to you.

- Also I imagine Leo to be around 15 years old but if you want him to be younger or older that's possible too of course! But I thought this age would be perfect for a sort of brother/sister dynamic with Carol!
