{Chapter 5: unexpected}

I stayed in the stands as Jungkook Practiced. I slowly began to recognize some of the team as kids I went to elementary school with. Shownu, Wonho, Jongin, and Woozi... Nice to see them again I guess. I hadn't really spoke to them much after my dad left. I had gotten really quiet. At the time, I didn't even realize all the friends I had lost.

"Taehyung I'm gonna put my trust in you and leave my bag here. The guys keep trying to put worms in my bag" a sweating Jungkook said plopping his book bag down, before running down the stairs to the field where the boys were messing around.

I pulled the envelope from my backpack glancing at it before shoving it into a pocket on the right end of his bag.

📃The letter📃

Dear Jeon Jungkook, you look good when you aren't paying attention.

Your face is slightly less tense, hands placed gently onto the table, and  hair always messy.

I'm always there and you've never really noticed. I'm always there, willingly giving you my undivided attention. And when you talk to me I feel myself slowly melting into your words, and my worries become silent.

I hate it. I hate it cause I know you would never like me. I hate it because I know you'd only have eyes for someone else.

And I especially hate knowing that, that simple fact makes me fall apart.

Why is it always said that if you text him and he doesn't text back that he doesn't like you?

Can I text you? Would I get a reply? I don't know. Cause I would never text you, because if I did I'm sure I'd come off as the desperate loner longing for the hot guy.

But I am desperate.

I am so fucking desperate to have you pay attention to me, as I do to you.

Jeon Jungkook, stop ruining my life with a simple word from those pale pink lips.

Give me a break.

- From me to you -

🏳-back to present time - 🏳

Jungkook looked happy playing soccer. Even when bullets of his own sweat were continuously attacking him he managed to stay flawless. His body movements were swift and his footwork was elegant much like a dancer.

He ran his hands through his hair, and his shoulders shook a bit every time he laughed at something stupid one of his team mates did. After about 30 minutes of practicing, they finished off with planks.

I saw Hani step onto the field her skirt pulled up so high if she were to bend over she'd flash the whole team. Her tight long sleeve black low cut shirt showed off her small breasts, what a sad attempt for a bigger bust.

"Bunny" she squealed as Jungkook walked towards the stands to retrieve his water bottle and book bag.

"Hani?" Jungkook spoke raising his eyebrows before turning his head towards his teammates trying to find out why she was there.

I shoved my phone into my pocket and threw my back pack over my shoulder. I then grabbed his duffle bag and water bottle trudging down the stairs not interested in a conversation with Hani.

"So Jungkook the Halloween banquet is coming up, and I'm single and you're too so I think we should go together...right?" Hani placed her manicured nails onto his chest smiling brightly. He saw me walking down the steps and then looked at her.

"Actually I'm not single, I'm...dating someone." He looked at me knowingly. He then flashed me a look of guilt, did he really feel that bad for making me wait?

"Who!? I made sure you were single!" She was screeching at this point. I walked closer to them and he looked at me.

"I'm dating Kim Taehyung."

"What!?" she shouted.

Wait what did this boy just say?
