Author's POV

A little more than 2 months has passed since jungkook's birthday. BTS have been busy with their comeback, and the end of their tour. Catherine and Hoseok have been talking regularly, and their relationship is stronger than ever. Jungkook is ... well, he's the same. Stuck in his one sided feelings for his hyung's girlfriend.

Catherine still wonders if Jungkook liked her birthday gift. He's never mentioned it, and even though he doesn't glare anymore, he still doesn't talk to her if the members join Hobi's FaceTime calls with her. She assumes he didn't find the humor in it, and it didn't help them bridge their gap at all. This makes her heart hurt, but she pushes that away because it confuses her.

Bridget and Catherine are winding up their university experience, and will be graduating right before the end of the year. The business has been busy with parties and weddings. Both girls are exhausted, but have never been more content with their lives.

After graduation they will be moving the business into an actual venue complete with function rooms, a chapel, and an outdoor garden space with fountains and gazebos. They've hired alot of new staff, and some of their friends, which makes work easy and fun.

BTS will be coming to LA for the American Music Awards, and Hoseok has invited Catherine to meet him. They'll be filming some stuff for late night shows, and doing radio interviews, but this is the closest they're going to get to each other for a while, so she is excited to go. She has been trying to convince Bridget to come along, but she doesn't feel like 3rd wheeling, so she refused.

November 13

Catherine's POV

I'm actually nervous... It's been so long since Hobi and I have been in the same room together. I'm also nervous to see Jungkook. I don't know why, but being in the same place as him has always affected me. I wish I could have convinced B to come with me, but at least Ashley (Halsey) will be there. I can't wait to see her.

Arriving at the airport early in the morning sucks. I'm tired because we had a wedding yesterday and then I had to pack for the trip. I've only had about 2 hours of sleep, and I'm living on caffeine. I check my suitcase, and head to the first class lounge. As soon as I get there I'm attacked by an enthusiastic Ashley. I thought she was going to meet me in LA, so this is a pleasant surprise.

We sit down to wait for our flight to board and talk over all the things we've missed out on with each other. I never expected for the two of us to be friends. She has been one of my musical idols, and now she is just a really good friend. I show her the pictures of the cartoon I sent to Jungkook. She is giggling at the goofiness of it and asks what he thought. When I tell her that he has never even acknowledged it, she is surprised.

Halsey's POV

I'm so excited to be with Catherine. I moved my flight so I could travel with her, and it's the best decision I've made in a while. It seems like she and Hoseok are really building a solid relationship. I'm happy for her. When she showed me the pictures of the cartoon she'd made with her friend, I was stunned. I've been texting with Joon alot and he never mentioned it, so obviously Jungkook is keeping it a secret.

I am surprised he hasn't at least sent her a thank you text though. Is this because he's that shy? Did he think it was offensive? The cultural differences could have something to do with it... Probably not though. It was very cute and a thoughtful gift.

During the flight, Cath got some texts from Hoseok. The boys are on their flight and will be arriving early tomorrow morning. Catherine seems nervous about spending time with him. I ask her about it, but she's vague. She brushes it if as excitement. I hope that's the case.

Our flight lands at LAX and we share a car to the hotel. Hoseok has reserved her a room in the same hotel they are staying in. I am booked in a different hotel, but check if there is an available opening where they are staying. LUCKily for me, there is one on the same floor as Catherine. This is going to be fun!

November 14

Hoseok's POV

Our flight landed and we are going through immigration when Jungkook asks me if Catherine will be here at the airport. I don't really know the answer though, so I just shrug my shoulder. I'm curious about why he wants to know, but it's my turn to present my passport, so I don't ask. But my mind is working, and I'm nervous about his interest in my girlfriend...

Exiting into the concourse of the airport, we are met with a ton of ARMY who have been waiting for us. We pause and let them take some pictures. I look up and see my girlfriend. She's standing away from the biggest part of the crowd taking a picture of us. She's adorable... We know that we can't really talk together in public, so we just smile at one another and head to our different cars.

Catherine's POV

I'm still amazed at the fan response to these guys. I came to the airport to see Hoseok, but didn't realize that it would be like this. I'm surprised when he meets my eyes and smiles. I can feel the blush on my face, but I smile back. I take a couple pictures of them and then make my way back to the car. I'll get to talk to him at the hotel.

Since I'm waiting on Hoseok to arrive, I decide to text Bridget.

[Cath!! My ho!! 😘 What's up?!?>

<bored... Waiting for my man to show at the hotel. 🙄]

[Impatient? I'm sure they'll be there soon!>

<It could take a while to get out of the airport... The fans were crazy!!🙃]

**KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK**

I run to the door to open it and immediately get scooped up in his arms!! My Hobi... He smiles the brightest at me, and I can't help but grin like a fool back. I realize we are still in the doorway, so I move into the room. He follows behind and backhugs me. I've missed him so much.

I turn to say something but find his lips meeting mine immediately. The kiss is slow and sweet. He pulls me towards him and my hands move up to encircle his neck. He slides his tongue into my mouth to deepen our connection. Our tongues swirl around each and I can feel him getting excited.

He pulls back from the kiss to have us catch our breath. His lips go to my jaw and he places open mouth kisses there and down my neck, pausing when I let out a light moan. He focuses on that spot, nibbling and licking... I'm in heaven. I feel his hands under my shirt and caressing my sides and I want him to keep going... He starts to lift my shirt when someone knocks on the door... We are both panting, but we pull apart.

Giving him a shy smile I walk to the door and open it to find Ashley and the rest of the members. Ashley gives me a look that says she knows what she interrupted... While walking by she whispers "sorry girl... I didn't think it would be that quick... nice hickey" and she starts laughing. I know I'm blushing and I wish the earth would open up and swallow me.

The 9 of us make ourselves comfortable and talk about eating together before heading to the filming for "The Late Late Show". I didn't realize I was going to get to go, so I'm excited. I've never seen them perform live, so I'm over the moon!

We decide to order room service and meet in the larger suite the guys have. As the guys are leaving, I feel someone behind me grabbing my waist and leaning in... Then he's gone... Jungkook... What was that?

After the guys exit, Ashley and I gossip like teenagers. She didn't notice what Jungkook did, thank God... My mind is a mess now... She helps me cover the hickey and we head upstairs. I'm nervous again. Hobi and I didn't even talk... We just attacked each other... And then the thing with Jungkook... Hopefully this won't be weird.

Jungkook's POV

She takes my breath away still. I can't even make eye contact with her. She'll see right through me... When we went to her room, I know we interrupted her and Hyung... I can't say I'm not glad. The hickey she had made my stomach hurt. We leave her room to head up and wait on room service, and as I'm leaving I accidentally (on purpose) brush up against her from behind, grabbing her waist gently... She smells amazing. The same as I remember... A vanilla smell that drives me wild...

The Late Late Show

Catherine's POV

This is crazy! The fans here are chanting and screaming so loud it's hard to hear. I bring my phone out and text Bridget.
