Lucy's POV

     "Welcome to Mira's cafe!" I greeted some of the costumers and seated them. "Two ice teas and two chicken bacon ranch sandwiches coming up!" I took a few orders and proceeded to the kitchen.

     I hand the cook the order and made my way back out front. Once threw the doors I saw a pinkette standing by the door. "Hey Natsu!" I called to him as I walked past him. "Hi Lucy" hmm he seemed a little down.

    "Um exude me ma'am!" "Hai!" I went over the guy who called me and asked what was wrong "may we get a refill please?" I nodded "I'll be over in just a minute."

      I went and got everyone's drinks and made way back to the table. I heard a cup fall over and looked for the spill. "Look out!" "Kyaaahh!!!" I screamed I slipped and took off sliding. "Gah Natsu look ouuu!!"

*crash*

      Food and drinks were sent flying. Erg that hurt and in a way it didn't. By all the warmth and muscles I felt I could tell I was on Natsu. He's always super warm.

     Huh what's this? It's soft and warm. A little moist. I opened my eyes, all I saw was Natsu's eyes wide open and the red painted under his eyes on his cheeks.

     That's when I realized.. We were kissing. I mean neither of us were actually kissing back but our lips were together. Oh how much I just wanted to wrap my arms around his neck and kiss him for real...
 
     This makes trying to forget my feeling for him really hard, even though it wasn't a real kiss I still kind felt a spark but it was probably just my imagination.

Natsu's POV

      I sat there eyes wide open, heat filled my cheeks. When she opened her eyes she looked confused at first then her face turned into a cherry.
 
      I really just wanna cup her face and press my lips into hers. But I can't do that, I can't... Now I really can't she crawled off me and kept apologizing.

      "Gomen'nasai! Gomen'nasai! Gomen'nasai Natsu!" She almost sounded like she was crying. She stood up and ran off to the bathroom.

     In a way it kind of hurt.. Was it really that bad for her to kind of kiss me. Putting my feelings aside I went after her but she locked her self in the bathroom.

    "Luce you okay?" I spoke into the door softly. "Unh im fine ouch!"she started crying "Lucy open the door! What's wrong!?" I was almost yelling, but I heard the lock click so I opened the door.

     When I came I saw her on the ground crying and blood everywhere. "Lucy are you okay!" I rushed over to her and started looking for the cause of blood.

     "It's my left Ankle, I must have cut it when we crashed." She sniffled a few times and wipe her eyes. I left when and grabbed a first aid kit and clean up her ankle.

     She thanked me and I grabbed her little hands and helped her stand. "Are you okay standing by your self?" "Unh I'm fine really just a cut!" She weakly smiled back to me.

      After exiting the bathroom I went back out front and started to clean up. The lady's whose child spilt the water was apologizing over and over to Lucy and Mira.

     "Gomen'nasai!!! Gomen'nasai!!!! I'm so sorry you got hurt from all this!" Lucy shook her head smiling and waving her hands back and forth " I'm fine ma'am! Really just a scratch."

      The lady bowed a few times before finally leaving. I continued to clean, Lucy walked over and tried to help but I told no. I don't want her to get hurt again.

    The rest of the night went by extremely slowly. Finally it closing time. "Oi Lucy!" I jogged over to her. "Wanna hang out tomorrow?" I smiled.

    "Oh uh I have a uhh d-date tomorrow with Luke.." I think my heart just exploded. So I guess that is my answer if she even liked me, I was completely wrong.

     I smiled softly through the pain. " oh, when did that happen?" "Oh it was during soccer practice."

Lucy's flash back

     Luke held the rag to my face as we walk to the nurse. Once we finally get there she's know where to be found, she must have went on lunch. "Sorry for wasting you time."

    "No no it's fine Lucy, I've actually been wanting to talk to you." He told me. "Oh and what about?" He seemed to be having a hard time telling me what he wanted to say.

     "I uh.. I wanted to see if maybe you wanted to go.. On a umm see a movie?" He finally spit it all out. "So like a date?" I asked smiling and he responded with a nod.

    "I'd love to" I thanked him for his help and the bleeding finally stopped. He walked me back to the field and said good bye. After that I practiced till it was time for work.

Lucy's POV

     "Yup that's about it" I clapped my hands as I finished explaining. "Wait how did you get a bloody nose to begin with?"

     "Oh! I was think about la- um stuff and the ball got kicked into my face." "Oh what were you thinking out?" He asked sounded curious.

     "My mom" I lied. "Well we're at my place so bye!" I tried to run off but he chased after me. "Wait can't I come in?"

    "Uh no I'm really tired and have a lot of studying to do so I wanna be a lone tonight." That was no lie plus I wanted to call levy and talk to her. "Oh okay bye Luce!" He waved running off.

     I sighed and walked inside throwing my bags and keys on the table and flopping on the couch. After resting for a few minutes I decided to go she a nice long bath.

     The water was hot and felt good on my aching body. I plugged my phone into my speaker and started playing some of my favorite songs.

     After sitting in the tub for a good forty minutes I thought it was about time I get out. I work my way into some pjs and flopped on my bed.

     Pulling out my phone I dialed levys number and called her.

*calling Levy-chan*

Hey lu-chan!

Hey levy-chan

What's up lu? You sound a bit down.

Well lev I have a date with Luke tomorrow.

Ahh how awesome are you excited!?

In a way.   I spoke kind of softly

Did you not wanna go out with Luke?

It's not that but just I..

You what lu-lu?

You cant tell anyone levy got it?!

Unh what ever you tell me is safe with me.

I started er developing feeling for natsu..   I whispered the last part

You what!!! That's great Lu! But why are you going out with Luke then?

Because I decided I was gonna give up on my feeling for him because he'll only ever see me as his best friend and that's how it should stay.

I'm going to see if I can develop feeling for Luke, and in that time Natsu should probably develop feeling for lisanna.

Oh Lu.. You shouldn't have done this.

What do you mean?

If you like Natsu you should tell him the truth, not throw him to Lisanna. Plus you shouldn't lead Luke on.

But what if me saying I like him ruins our friendship!

That's just a chance you'll have to take!

I don't know levy.. But hey how are you and mr. Gi-hi?  I imitated her crush.

Gah!! Lu-chan stop it!!

      We ended up cutting up and laughing over the phone for hours. Around 12 she said she had to go because we have school tomorrow.

     I agreed and went to bed " I hope I made the right choice.." I said out loud before falling asleep.
