I will. I will. I will. 

I cant keep losing. I have to win my battles. If I don't, how will I become stronger?! I have to beat Calem. I have to show everyone that I will become the world's number one Pokémon master. No one besides Gary knows about my story. Even Serena. Yeah, Serena. I just don't want her to know that I'm lying to her. I never told her or anyone that I've travelled across the world, searching far and wide. Serena..... Serena?  But why is she on my side? WHY does she want me to win so badly? Why does she stick up for me when Calem says something about me?

ASHY BOYYYY. ASH!!!!!!!!!!!!????????  HELLO???

Ash was daydreaming. Everyone at the table didnt know why  either.

Ash: Huh?! Oh.. my bad. Did you say something Gary?

Gary: Lunch is over idiot! We have to get going to the next class, then its battle time Ashy boy! 

Ash: How could I forget.. 

The group laughed. 

Serena: Hey Ash?

Ash: Huh? Oh, yeah Serena?

Serena: Uhm... Are you okay? You were daydreaming. 

Ash's POV-- 

Oh god. Not good. Think.... come on think..... 

END POV. 

Ash: Oh, haha! I was just strategizing a game plan for my upcoming battle! 

Calem: Strategizing a game plan with all this ruckus?! What cant Ash do?

Serena: Ohh... thats cool! You know, I think Pokémon battles are really intense and fun to watch!  You're really strong Ash! I think you can beat Calem.

Ash: Wow really?! Thanks Serena, that means a lot! I mean, I hope I win, but I cant underestimate my opponent. 

Cilan: Very true Ash. Never underestimate your opponent, any trainer can beat any trainer. It all comes down to who wants it more, who has the stronger bond.

Ash:(POV) bond... 

Ash looked down into his pockets and looked into Charizard, Sceptile, and Snorlax's pokeballs.

"Cilan's right. If our bond is strong, we'll win. I can count on you, friends."

END POV. 

The group all left the cafeteria and walked to their next class. It was Math class. The whole group were in the same class. Iris was the only one who wasn't walking with them to their next class. She met up with one of her best friends, named Miette. Miette didn't hang out with the rest of the group because they never got along. Miette and Serena always had a rivalry until they both decided to just stop talking to each other because of past fights within the group. However, Iris was loyal to Miette. The two of them were friends ever since kindergarten. They were always close. 

-- On the other side of campus, near the Lumiose High Library

Miette: There you are..

Iris: Sorry I took so long... I wish I had Dragonite with me so I could just fly to you.

Miette: So.

Iris: ? So? ...

Miette: I heard you and your group have been hanging out with that really cute boy ;)

Iris: What?! What cute boy?!

Miette: Who do you think?! Clemont?! --- ASH Ketchum. The new student that battled Champion Diantha and took her to a draw! He's so strong and really cute! And I'm going to be his girlfriend!!! ;)

Iris: Oh Miette... some things just never change... 

Miette: Hmm... I forgot to ask. IS SERENA TRYING TO GET HIM??!! BECAUSE IF SHE IS, I WILL----

Iris: Yes, yes she is. 

Miette: WHAT!? WHY DOES SHE ALWAYS HAVE TO GO FOR THE GUYS I LIKE!? CAN SHE EVER JUST STOP??

Iris: Well the thing is... I think Ash likes her too?

Miette: DFNBSJFNDSJF!!!! WHATTTTTT!!!!!!!!??????????????????????

Iris: Well... I could tell you some stuff thats happened over the past couple of days... First of all, during the battle between Diantha and Ash, Serena had this weird feeling? I dont really know what it was, but she told me that she might have known someone just like him. She just couldn't figure it out. Secondly, she invited Ash over to her house, we were all hanging out and then all of a sudden a huge storm came to us and it caused a few trees in our path to collapse. Ash saved Serena and as a result, he got injured pretty badly. Not only that, even Calem gets jealous. When Ash tied with Diantha, Serena and the rest of the group, even me, cheered for Ash and praised him for what he did. Especially Serena. Calem got so jealous that he started to make fun of Ash saying how "luck" he was. Serena defended Ash and Calem looked so mad. It was so funny! Anyways.. thats pretty much it. I seriously think Serena might have a thing for him. I'm just going to keep an eye out.

Miette: Awh <3 not gonna lie, that was kinda cute I guess. Maybe she actually does have  feelings for him. BUT I DO TOO. Iris, help me out, please.. He's just so.. perfect! 

Iris: Oh yeah I forgot to tell you something. Here, read this: 

It was a text from Calem. 

Flashback--

Text: "Ash was lying all this time. I found out who he really is. A liar! The whole School treats him like some sort of hero. Can't believe it. And to think Serena was defending him this whole time. Wait till she finds out! :p We'll tell the whole School about this. Don't tell the group just yet. Got it?

End of Flashback. 

Miette: Wait.. Im kind of confused. Ash is a liar?! 

Iris: Yeah he is. Thats why I came to you. Me and Calem are in on this plan together. Ash is the one that's separating our group together. Remember the good old days? When Ash and his friend Gary weren't here? As soon as those two came, me and Calem have felt betrayed and in g a matter of time the rest of the group will split up too. What he is lying about, I have no idea. But Calem knows because he overheard Ash talking about something. 

Miette: Wow... im.......im....  in shock. But wait... why is Calem against Ash besides the whole " Ash lied to us" point?

Iris: He doesnt want Serena to fall for Ash. He's going to humiliate Ash infront of Serena and the whole group, no, the whole School. Thats going to make Serena mad. And that leaves you...

Miette:??? leaves you.... ??

Iris: That gives you an open lane to get to Ash.

Miette: You and Calem are a genius! 

Iris: So I guess your with us, right?

Miette: You bet I am! I cant wait to see the look on Serena's face. 

Iris: Well... she's still my friend. I just want the group to get back together. As long as Serena and Ash split up as friends, the group comes back to how it once was.

Miette: You guys are sneaky ;)

Iris: Oh, stop it! 

Iris: Well lets get going to the gymnasium. The battle might give us our answer.

Miette: You bet it will. 

Math Class--

The students, including the gang, were just finishing up their Lecture for the day. No one even payed attention. The battle between Ash and Calem was set to begin right after the period was over. Serena was really excited for the battle. It made her happy to see Ash talking with everyone about his upcoming battle.

Ash: Anyways, I like to go for the counter attack---

PA Announcer: Reporting to all students, please come to the gymnasium to watch  the battle between Ash and Calem! We hope you enjoy your weekend! Have a fun Friday afternoon!

Gary: FINALLY! YOU GOT THIS ASHY BOY!

Dawn: You can do it Ash!!

Dawn: Hey Serena, ready ;) 

Serena: .... uhm... yes! "Serena said nervously" 

Ash: Here we go...... lets go Pikachu! 

Pikachu: Pika!!!

GET READY GUYS! THIS NEXT CHAPTER WILL BE INSANE HOLY FNJSDNJSJF IT MIGHT BE A 2 PART CHAPTER THE LONG AWAITED BATTLE BETWEEN ASH AND CALEM IS SET TO BEGIN!
