“What the heck! Is this a joke?”
I kept quiet, careful to keep my eyes lowered.

“Is this the idea you’ve got for a movie? Seriously? I mean aliens on the moon. Who would come to watch a freaking movie on some stupid aliens? Opfer productions has already made two such sci-fi movies and seeing the latter of the two was a complete flop, it’s evident that the public are not interested. What were you thinking?”

I bit my lips to prevent myself from spilling the truth.

“I’m sorry Sir, but aliens are the thing I want to base the movie on. There’s a special reason why…”

“I’ve heard enough of your crap for the past two years, Johanna. I need to have nothing to do with you or your company,” the production manager threw down the script and stormed off.

“Sir please…” I was ready to even fall at his feet.

He strode off without uttering another word.

I was walking down the passages, my eyes used to the dark by now. I knew I was late for a meeting with Mr. Schafer and members of the cult. I quickened my pace and soon reached the sanctuary.

Axel was there including others from the Lunarian cult.

The clouds parted just then, flooding the room with milky white light. Immediately all turned to the window, hands on the brass rim of the stand holding the crystal globe which glittered.

Faraway a clock struck twelve in the night.

Axel was the only one who could access the celestial spells.

Eclipso Lunaris!”

The spell was cast.

The shadows were creeping slowly over the moon. The crystal ball became turbid and sure enough the masked face appeared.

We dropped on our knees as a sign of submission.

“What is the news there?” a metallic voice rang out.

“Sir, we’ll soon have an entire team of people teleported to you. We’re again using the same plan as we’ve been doing for the past years…”

“Sir,” I interrupted, immediately regretting my decision as all the eyes in the room turned to me.

Axel was shooting me daggers.

“I’m sorry sir but the producer refused flatly to make the movie. He doesn’t like extraterres…”

“What?” the voice of doom boomed and sparks of green flame shot from it, hitting my arm. It burned wherever it touched and I winced under the fury of our master.

“I’m sorry…” I stuttered. “I didn’t mean to call you that, master.”

“Today’s session is dismissed,” master ordered.

Thankfully I got up, staggering to reach the door. Before I could reach it, an unknown force closed it shut. I turned around, goosebumps on my skin, to see Axel standing there, fury evident on his face. He had used telekinesis.

“You stay here.” His eyes gleamed an unnatural blue.

“So, what I am? An extraterrestrial? Alien? A freak from space?” the speaker was Axel, but the voice was cold as ice.

It took me a moment to realise that master had possessed him with his magic so basically I was standing at the mercy of Master.

“I…I  s…slipped…”

“You’re the one coming with me then as an offering.”

“No,” I screamed, backing off towards the door, trembling with fear.

Felling the electricity jar my body numb, I dropped to the floor, limp. Every muscle screamed for mercy as he simply stood there, torturing me with his eyes. I writhed on the floor, twisting and turning, wanting nothing more than to die.

“I won’t let you die so easily. You’re mine now!”

I let out a strangled cry.

The possessed Axel gave a deadly, cruel smile.

And suddenly I felt it all go away as darkness began to close in. I fought to keep awake.

I was vaguely aware of a husky voice whispering, “Go to sleep slave,” and a strong pair of hands encircled my body.”

My head felt heavy as I tried to open my eyes. The throbbing pain was still bearable.

Immediately the events of the night flashed back to my mind. I couldn’t curse myself enough for getting involved with the psychotic cult which sought out life in space. Why did I ever agree to work for Axel? Why did I ever trap humans to ship to the moon as an offering?

The moon…

Where was I?

I lifted up my unwilling body from the floor and dragged myself to the window to get the shock of my life.

The ground was bare. Devoid of grass, the sands gleamed golden. The sky was pitch dark. Seething stars filled the inky night and amongst them stood out the earth, bigger in size than we see the moon. The room was being lit from the earth’s light.

Panic began to set in as I realized I had woken up on moon. I tried the door. It was locked.

Escape wasn’t an option because I could never get back to earth without the teleportation powers.

As I beat frantically on it, I heard the knob turning.

I scrambled to the farthest end of the room to find a thing entering the room.

He was a boy, lanky and glowing in fluorescent blue, but his eyes and stature were so human. He froze, staring at me and I could see sympathy flash in those limitless eyes.

“What an earthling doing here?”

“Someone kidnapped me…”

“You need to call the guardians now. Who the heck did this to you?”

“The guardians?” I blinked in shock.

“The galaxy has a group constantly patrolling space and looking for heinous crimes such as trafficking. No one has the right to utilize their magic in this way. It’s illegal, whoever brought you…”

I stood still for a moment, trying to grasp the information.
“I’ve called the space patrol, they’re coming in a while,” he grinned. “Wanna see our world?” he offered his hand.

I linked mine through his and we strode off, exploring a civilization, hitherto unknown to mankind.

Suggestions are welcome as I actually don't know if I could weave everything and make a fantasy story...
