After 20 years, I'm still trying to improve as a writer. But here I am. I am an English teacher and a mom and utterly beholden to the writing muse.

How long does it take to write a book?
It does depend on the book. I've been doing this for 20 years so off and on I've learned to recognize a dead end pretty early. Also, since I follow the muse, I can't always predict when a book will come inspired. Typically, I write one chapter and let it sit for months and months. Sometimes even a year, then come back and read it and can finish the book within thirty days, give or take. The best way for a book to come to me is knowing that people are interested in reading it.

What are the goals for 2021?
I'll be honest, I've got my sights on the Watty's. I have a few new books that I'm editing in hopes that they'll have a fighting chance. (Wish me luck!)

Also, I'd like to make "Perception" and perhaps "For My Next Trick..." into audio books. I also hope to get the Speed-Dating Books idea another shot.

Lastly, I'm puttering along like the Brave Little Toaster but it would be a great accomplishment if any of my books reach 5k reads. (Fingers crossed)

What am I currently working on?
Right now, my main focus is completing all works ongoing on my page. That includes:
- When I See You (rewrites)
- Do No Harm
- ONE small STEP (I wasn't sure if I should write it but I will as a challenge)
- The Difference Book 2 (edits)
Additionally, I have a few teen fiction books that I am writing offline as well as "The Aftermath 2."

If you have any questions or requests, please let me know.
