It's time for us to evolve

Realize environments change

We cannot ram our beliefs

And control another's range

When rule's words are recorded

Reflects process of free speech

Decisions will be honored

If consensus has been reached

When we don't work together

Then only discord will grow

Consider everyone's view

Leave room for choices to show

When we review assumptions

Reflect on personal lives

Take steps to challenge ourselves

Be willing to take deep dives

Then most of us may agree

Prevent another's tether

Rules are not about winning

But ways to work together

When decisions don't reflect

Our freedom to make a choice

Our discord will continue

'Til we have heard every voice
