With your depart, now I must grow

Accept life's turn; its ebb and flow

Reject mind's lure of ice and snow

My heart feels drained of love and joy

But loss of you will not destroy

Must plug your tap so heart will buoy

And step into my future's ploy

Must fill my life with warmth and hugs

And leave behind old pain that tugs

And share thoughts over steaming mugs

As time misplaces heart's humbugs
